This October Sophie will be hosting the Scottish Style Awards in a specially-themed Halloween show, to be held in Glasgow.

Sophie will be heading up North to hand out the awards for the Fashion Designer of the Year, amongst many others.

Sophie recently spoke to Vogue about her new hosting role…

"I am thrilled to be hosting this year's Scottish Style Awards…Music and fashion go hand in hand but the presenting is something completely new for me. If I get too nervous I'll just burst into song."

This glamorous event is taking place on October 3rd in Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket.

On 27th July Sophie rocked up to the Roundhouse in Camden to play to a packed crowd at the iTunes Festival, as part of ‘An Evening With Fascination Records’ alongside label-mates The Saturdays and Girls Can’t Catch.

On July  27th Fascination Records will be holding a night of music as part of the iTunes festival and our Sophie will be performing.

We are excited to announce that we have 25 pairs of tickets up for grabs so you and a friend could be on your way to the festival!

To be in with the chance of winning a pair of tickets all you have to do is create a summer-festival-themed playlist especially for Sophie.

Pick your top 10 songs and submit your playlist in either a simple list form or use Spotify (download it here) which you can even put up on Share-My-Playlist.com if you like!

Once you have created your playlist, send us your list or a link to sophieplaylist@googlemail.com and let us know what you think Sophie should listen to this summer, whether she’s rockin’ out at a festival or chilling at home with the family.

The competition will close at 10am on 14th July. Please include in your email, your first and last names, email address and a contactable mobile number.

Sophie will be heading toWeston-super-mare this July to hit the beach and the stage all in one go!

T4 on the Beach kicks off on 19th July and Sophie will be performing alongside the likes of The Saturdays, Calvin Harris and Basement Jaxx!

Sophie Ellis-Bextor's collaboration with the Freemasons 'Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)' has been heating up UK radio and TV playlists over the past few weeks.

If you've been hankering for the chance to own this very special track - it's now available on iTunes a week earlier than planned!
