A DVD IS AVAILABLE FOR FULL SCREEN, HIGH QUALITY VIDEO.

Our Mother Child Bonding Series is based on our experiences with mothers and children in our extensive SOULSPEAK MOTHER/CHILD programs

We feel the optimum benefit can be had by starting before birth, but it can be started after birth at any time: the first month, first year, second year, third year and right up through year six.

Just as a healthy physical and emotional environment aids in developing a happy, healthy baby, our experience (and the experience of others) has shown that a clean, non-stressful environment is just the beginning of what can be done to create a healthy, lasting emotional bond between you and your baby.

What is needed is a way of transferring the deepest emotions of the mother's heart to the baby, both in the womb and afterwards.

Many mothers instinctively sing to their baby, or play music for their baby, during pregnancy (and afterwards) to help accomplish this.

It is an excellent first step, and one that is also an integral part of the SOULSPEAK Mother Child Bonding Program.

What is totally unique about SOULSPEAK is that it allows mothers to speak to their babies from the deepest part of the beings.

Many mothers speak to their babies instinctively, even in the womb, but usually in a chatty, informal way. It is a natural connection.

What SOULSPEAK allows mothers to do is deepen that natural connection and speak to their babies from the deepest part of their souls. It makes the connection transcendent.

It doesn't matter that the baby doesn't understand the words, what the baby feels is what you feel, and what you feel when you do SOULSPEAK is a moment of transcendence, of rising into light, that has no equal.

The baby will remember that feeling and will wait for it to happen again.

Speaking SOULSPEAK to your baby is like infusing your baby with emotional light.

It is a transcendent light that is like no other. That light can be continually fed to your baby by doing SOULSPEAK.

Just by doing SOULSPEAK, the mother child bond will grow deeper all by itself, and when the child starts to speak, the child will begin to echo your SOULSPEAK until at age 5 or 6 the child will begin to compose SOULSPEAK with you, automatically.

That is because SOULSPEAK is an inherent part of our human nature.

The kind of bonding that can be achieved through SOULSPEAK can never be broken. Never.

You will run into problems with your child at every stage of his or her life, problems of anger, confusion, misunderstanding, but that is only natural.

What SOULSPEAK allows you to do is step aside with the child and resolve those problems, not just on a thinking level or physical level, but on a Heart Level, the only level that is truly lasting and weathers any storm.

By simply viewing the chapters and responding to them, you will be able to spontaneously speak SOULSPEAK to your baby.

If you wish, you can start long before the baby is born.

You can continue the process for a lifetime. You and the child can do SOULSPEAK whenever you feel like it.

Every time you do, the Mother Child bond will be strengthened. You can do it once a day, once a week, once a month, depending on your personal rhythms.

I would like to hear from any mothers who are using SOULSPEAK for Mother Child Bonding. You can contact me through my Email springjustin@yahoo.com

I'll be glad to hear your comments and will try to help you through any difficulties via email.

Feel free to leave your comments on this blog if you don't wish an individual response.

OTHER INFORMATION
THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS CONTAIN:

A SELECTION OF MY RECENT WRITTEN POEMS

AN ARTISTIC BIOGRAPHY

A SELECTION OF MY RECENT WRITTEN POEMS

Some recent written poems belonging to collection I've just published called Poems for Family and Friends.

One of the poems is for my vivacious Panamanian niece, Anastasia Typaldos, on her wedding day; and one is for my Uncle, Father Joe Drohan, the youngest and last to die of my mother's brothers and sisters, and a man who never failed to have something kind and funny to say to his apostate nephew.

I also enclose a poem I wrote many years ago, just as I was on the cusp of discovering oral composition. It's called Snow Angels. It seemed appropriate to include it as it was that discovery that led to SOULSPEAK and eventually the adaptation of it I call MOTHER CHILD SOULSPEAK.

Snow Angels

I was six. No, five, I was five: my first snow.
I remember the angel suddenly coming together
and then bleeding out beneath me
like I was turning myself inside out,
and then I remember awakening
to a white field, because the angels
were always a surprise to me,
the way they kept falling in such
peculiar positions, like someone
screaming, or dying.
Like the wings.
Friends would take me aside,
tell me the wings were a bit too much:
Like a Babylonian lion's, really.
Those wings, they'd say.
They were right of course,
but what could I say to them except
I couldn't help it, that my arms
always moved up and down like that
whenever I fell out of heaven.
Sometimes I felt like telling them
maybe it would help
if they thought of the angels
as small relief-maps of my soul,
sudden, uncontrolled curdlings
that occurred whenever I stopped,
opened myself to the sun, or the moon.
And then there were times
I didn't know what to say, except
maybe they should think of the angels
as detailed descriptions of another life.
A life I was living but knew nothing about.

Anastasia's Getting Married
For Anastasia and Raul

Sometimes in my dreams, Anastasia
we are lost in a forest of light: two small shadows,
slipping along the floor of heaven,
trying to find our way home.
I whisper to you:
"Our bodies are like empty rooms."
You laugh: "Listen to me Tio,
that is because
we have nowhere to go.
Imagine we're not lost.
Imagine we're in a garden where no one gets lost
except God: nobody Tio, not even you.
Now, imagine the shrubs are trimmed
like little geese and little fishes
and that the garden is in Gamboa
and it's Saturday, January the Eighth
in the year of Our Lord Twenty-Two Hundred and Five
and I'm standing at the altar
of La Iglesia Nuestro Senora del Buen Consejo
marrying the dashingly handsome Raul Cochez Maduro
against the desperate wishes
of His Majesty the King of Spain
and the Seven Sorrowful Sisters of Doom,
who are on every street corner,
watching me like flies.
Imagine that if you will".
So I did. I imagined it.
Then I had somewhere to go, Anastasia.
And so did you.

You Have To Change Your Eyes.
For Father Joe Drohan, d. April 22, 2005

Sometimes in my dreams, Joe,
we are standing at the gates of Heaven.
Your mother and all your brothers and sisters
are on the other side, waiting for you.
They are standing perfectly still,
like actors a play.
Everyone is naked, even your mother,
but no one seems to care.
You have a rosary in one hand,
and a pair of brown shoes in the other.
You hold them up in the air
to show your mother you did not forget
t
hen point to someone
standing next to her.
He looks exactly like you,
but dimmer.
Your eyes are shining.
You are already beginning to cross over.
You tell me when you do, the one
who looks like you will become brighter,
and then the two of you
will become one person, forever, again.
You say to me: "I know you think
I'm imagining all this, but I'm not imagining anything.
All of this is real. Love makes it real.
Love makes everything real,Justin.
Everything. Even this.
You have to change your eyes."

Therapeutic Poetry Programs
....

Mr. Spring is also the founder of SOULSPEAK/SOULMOVES, Inc. a non-profit dedicated to using poetry in the healing of emotional traumas. These long term healing programs utilize SOULSPEAK poetry, a contemporary form of the spoken/musical poetry that was used by all cultures prior to our learning to read and write about 4000 years ago. It is an instinctive poetry that allows anyone to easily express deep emotions in a beautiful, healing way.

The National Association of Poetry Therapy has published a detailed report on these programs, which have been conducted with multiple personalities, the sexually and physically abused, pregnant teens, the mentally ill, people in grieving, and at-risk children of every type.

Over 3,500 children and adults have taken part in these SOULSPEAK programs. It is generally acknowledged that SOULSPEAK has no counterpart in terms of its proven, documented effectiveness and ability to heal deep emotional wounds.

Mr. Spring has also created two groundbreaking Instructional DVDs
on the use of therapeutic SOULSPEAK poetry to (1) enhance mother/child bonding during and after pregnancy and (2) assist survivors in the grieving process.
