All of this and more goes on daily at The Wayside Chapel, the cause we modern-day Spartans at SWH support.

All we're asking is $1. Of course, you can give more if you wish, but if you have a dollar to spend...please spend it with us.

Hail, Spartan!

We have some exciting news and much more to come.

First, we'd like to congratulate the winner of our SPARTA oval sticker giveaway, Spartan N. Calayan from the Philippines. Thanks to everyone who participated. It was a wonderful show of support.

Second, speaking of our shop, we have an exciting new product! Imagine a vintage postcard of Sparta, with a lovely illustration and stylistic "greetings from...". Then scrawl SPARTA in blood and give it a few...or a lot...of splatters, just for fun. That's right: gory greeting cards (blank note cards, pack of six)!

This is a really fantastic item. I myself am a proud owner and wish I had dozens more. They're less expensive than a Hallmark card and far, far cooler. Support charity while corresponding in Spartan style! Check 'em out on our shop or directly here.

Third, you'll notice a few new features around the site. We now have a page for special thanks, and a page for additional link banners/buttons. Don't miss 'em--they're great!
Keep your eyes peeled for an exciting new feature which will be unveiled this week. Of course, I'll post another update with information, just in case you miss it!

Finally, you'll find information in our forum about specific ways you can help the cause. I've broken tasks into "teams" based upon specific 300 characters: Leonidas, Stelios, Dilios, Astinos, Captain & Ephialtes. Jobs range from event planning to content development & research, forum moderation to promotion, and more. If you have a little free time and want to lend a hand, find out more about the teams here.

The contest begins when announced and ends at midnight EDT May 1st.

The contest is sponsored by Spartans Wear Hoodies, with prize furnished personally by the founder.

The contest is void where prohibited by law.

Eligibility:
If you are under the age of 16, you must obtain permission from your parent/guardian before entering.

Only one entry per person/e-mail address.

Entries:
No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.

No responsibility is accepted for entries that are lost due to the sometimes unpredictable nature of this wonderful Internet. There will be a variable delay before signatures appear on the roster.
