Hey everybody, we were recently voted the Artist of the Month on this really cool website www.stereofame.com.  Please swing by and check out our smilin' faces on the site.  It puts us in the running for Artist of the Year on there as well, so listen to the tunes on there and give em a thumbs up. 

We've got a pretty sinful weekend ahead of us next week in Las Vegas at the Neon Reverb Festival.  We're playing with some great bands next Friday and if you are in the Vegas area, or just looking to get away for the weekend for some great music, you should be there.  The place we are playing as part of the festival is the Las Vegas Country Saloon.  They even have a mechanical bull.  Maybe Judd will get nice an liqoured up and go for a ride, his last attempt wasn't very successful, but it was hilarious.

One last thing is the Hotel Cafe on March 21st at 10pm.  This is one of the best venues, if not the best, in the city and we are looking forward to returning to that stage.  Mark your calendars because this ones gonna be a fine evening that you won't want to miss.

So I just wanted to update you on what's going on in the Stampead world.  First we want to thank everyone who came out to the Redwood on Friday night.  We had a blast and we look forward to doing it again.  We've got a bunch of shows lined up with one at the Hotel Cafe March 21st for all the Hollywood folks.  We always love playing there and are looking forward to it. 

In other news, we just shot a new video for Don't Tease the Lion.  It was a lot of fun and the footage looks amazing.  I don't want to give too much away, but it did involve old timey clothes, a bucket of water, and a whip.  As soon as it's done we'll post it up here.  Maybe we'll post some pics from the shoot up here.

We are heading back out on a couple excursions in the next couple of months.  We've got a couple weekend stints in Flagstaff and Vegas, so keep your eyes peeled for the big blue van full of a bunch of scraggly dudes.

Well the holiday kick off has begun, the turkey has been devoured and the mistletoe has been hung.  Alright, I'll quit rhyming, I mean it.  Anybody want a peanut.  We're really getting pumped for our first annual holiday jam at O'Brien's on December 21st.  I know it's a Sunday and that's the point. What better way to let your boss know that you ain't doin shit this week than to show up monday hungover.  So let's start the week together in an Irish bar playing songs of joy and some of just plain debauchery, while we all share in the warm glow of the holiday spirit.  We'll be playing all night with some surprises and some things that might not surprise you, but you'll like them anyway.  See ya on Main Street.

We had the honor of playing the very first annual Lake Balboa Music Experience this past weekend.  The event raised 10,000 for a New Orleans family to help them rebuild after Katrina.  We had a great time and enjoyed the complimentary Greg Norman Pinot (that golfer makes a pretty good red).  hopefully the Experience will continue for years to come...

Hey everybody, just wanted to update everyone on some shows this week.  We are excited to be back at Safari Sam's this Thursday Oct. 2nd to celebrate the completion of our new album at our favorite place to play in L.A.  This place is incredible and they really know to have a good time.  We're opening for the Gourds out of Austin, TX and this is going to be a hell of a night.   If you are in the Pasadena area, we'll be at McMurphy's on Wednesday.   We've got a lot of things in the hopper, we're just waiting to unleash them all at once.  A new website, some videos, and a lot of music.  Keep on keepin on,
