STEELY DAN fever hops another continent when legendary jazz-rock icons Donald Fagen and Walter Becker bring their renowned 10-piece band to Australia and New Zealand for the first time in Steely Dan's 35-year history. The 2007 Heavy Rollers Tour opens its historic leg on September 8th in Perth, also hitting Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Hunter Valley, Sydney and Melbourne before closers in Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand. Tickets go on sale April 23.

Starting as a 21-date swing of the U.S., The Heavy Rollers Tour expanded as promoters rushed to add more shows in response to ticket demand. Steely Dan Announce
2007 HEAVY ROLLERS U.S. TOUR

24-DATE TOUR KICKS OFF MAY 5TH IN MEMPHIS

TOUR BUZZ CAUSES IMMEDIATE SELL-OUTS
Promoters Rush To Add Additional Dates

MARCH 15, 2007 – Legendary jazz-rock icons Walter Becker and Donald Fagen have announced that STEELY DAN will once again hit the road, performing 24 concerts as part of their Heavy Rollers 2007 Tour beginning May 5th in Memphis, Tennessee. Originally planned as a 21-city tour, promoters have been racing to add dates nationwide to meet ticket demand. A highlight of the duo's schedule includes a headliner performance at this year's New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 6th, as well as concerts in major U.S. markets including New York, Atlanta, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Boston. Tickets for the tour are on sale now through Ticketmaster.

Concertgoers can expect a hefty draft of the incomparable Steely Dan experience this year. Supported by their renowned 10-piece band — including Keith Carlock on drums, Freddie Washington on bass, and Jon Herington on guitar — Becker and Fagen will draw from their deep catalog and showcase Steely Dan's signature slinky grooves, sleek subversive lyrics, and infectious hits.

The Dan's extraordinary, three-decade-plus catalog of smash songs is also captured on The Best of Steely Dan: The Millennium Collection, due October 2 on Universal Records, and The Donald Fagen Trilogy Collection coming out May 22 on Rhino Records.

-------------------------------------------------

STEELY DAN helped define the soundtrack of the '70s with hits such as Reelin' in the Years, Rikki Don't Lose That Number, Deacon Blues, Peg, Babylon Sisters, and Hey Nineteen, culled from their seven platinum albums issued between 1972 and 1980 (including 1977's groundbreaking "Aja"). They reunited in the early '90s and have toured throughout the decade and beyond, releasing multi-Grammy winner "Two Against Nature" in 2000 and its acclaimed follow-up "Everything Must Go" in 2003. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
