Hey all out there in StepanianLand... It's been a while since I wrote last, so I thought that I'd check in with everyone. So, how are you? Things been well? I like the new haircut/toupé.

We've had a really busy fall, as you've probably noticed if you check out the tour schedule for the fall. I'll try and tell you about some of the highlights very soon. It's been a great fall, and we've played lots of great shows for so many great people as well!

Eric and I just got back last night from a duo show down in Miami, Florida, which was a blast. We had the crowd literally dancing on tables by the end of our lunchtime set. It was like that scene in Coyote Ugly... actually, maybe more like the cafeteria scene in Animal House... Good times, either way!

But I think really the best thing about our show was why we were even playing inside in the first place. We were supposed to be outside (which to us Bostonians seems impossible in December, but Florida's like a different country where climate (or voting) is concerned), but the show was moved inside because it was (and I quote) "too cold". Dig up the weather records for December 3rd, 2008, and you'll find that the weather in Miami, Florida was 68 degrees, sunny, slight breeze. Whaaahht? Really, a student went to help us bring in our guitars and asked us to wait for a sec while he got his coat ("Have you been outside today?!" he asked the Bostonians basking in the sunshine). So here's to you, Florida! I wish that 68 degrees was cold. I was psyched that it was all the way up to 51 today here in Boston!

"Criminal" from the highly acclaimed Wait Out The Rain (th lp) will be featured October 20th on Baseball Tonight's "Web Gems Defensive Plays of the Year". The show will air at 10pm EST!

In early October ESPN will feature Stepanian's "Criminal" on
Baseball Tonight's "Web Gems Defensive Plays of the Year". We will have the
exact date that this will air in the coming weeks!

We would just like to thank everyone that came out to see us at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI last weekend. It was great meeting new people and seeing familiar faces from last year. We can't wait to come back and do it again next year!
