Many of you fine people have been asking about the writers' strike.  I've been too busy out on the picket lines sticking it to the man to reply individually, but here's a nifty video explaining what it's all about:

Hola, my Monkeys of Doom!  Well, the reviews and the ratings are in for my new show, Viva Laughlin.  And they both suck beyond the telling of it!  But hey, that was for the pilot episode, which yours truly had absolutely dick to do with.  Starting this Sunday (Oct. 21), you'll see MY glorious name as executive producer on the show, and rest assured my sticky little fingers are all over it! 

We had a rocky start on this series (which, btw, is how Tyler Bensinger and I ended up getting promoted from co-execs to showrunners), but I promise you the shows get better and better.  If you can stick around (and we don't get cancelled) until episode four, your patience will be richly rewarded.

Wondering what I've been up to lo these many months, my Monkeys of Doom?  Well find out tonight with the special premiere of the show I've inadvertently found myself executive producing!  That's right, it's time to sing along with Viva Laughlin, tonight on CBS right after CSI.  If you haven't checked out the reviews, great!  They're the worst I think I've ever seen!  But don't believe everything you read.  I think this thing is a hoot, especially starting with episode 2 (where you simian overlord and his co-conspirator Tyler Bensinger took over).  Hate it, love it -- you be the judge!

One of you kooky Monkeys of Doom suggested I post a blog dedicated to how much my unholy legion appreciates me.  That's a little too self-aggrandizing for even my massive ego, so instead I present to you a forum of appreciation in general.  Here, I'll go first to get the sentimental ball rolling:

Thank you, fans of Smallville, for making my last season infinitely more enjoyable.  Your thoughts, your jubilations and yes, even your vociferous and frequent outrages, were much appreciated.  I hope you'll all join me here in the months to come to celebrate and discuss my latest creative endeavor on the small screen (more info on that coming soon).
