I had a mail box full of emails yesterday complaining to me about my daylilly page, demanding that I get my facts straight, with authoritive hemerocallis links included.

I even got a letter from Gerrit Snoek Pres. Hemerocallis Europa!

I don't mind linking to other sites that have specialized information. I trust that everybody will cam down now...

Having skills means that there are plenty of property holders who will want us to improve their property for free. Doing this takes our time away from paying gigs, where we would've been paid for our work.

These "drainbow" property holders will act like they did us a favor by allowing us to waste our time & money & other resources improving their property.... They gave us a place to stay!

They will convieniently "forget" the promises they made when asking us for help... And there won't be a damn thing we can do about having been taken advantage of. The laws are written in their favor, making it possible for them to rob us by the letter of the law, while proclaiming to all & sundry that they were helping a "homeless" person!

We don't need that kind of help.... There are lots of employment opportunities that provide housing while paying us.

If we try to warn others about our bad experience, these "drainbow" property holders will drag our names through the muck, conjuring up ridiculous claims justifying their failure to keep their promises, even denying they ever made any.

We're out materials, wear & tear on our equipment, the money we could have made doing the same work for honest people, plus these people are saying some stuff about us!

There's no place to take our grievance, other communities don't seem to care, many refuse to even acknowledge the problem exists!

Solutions?

New page, New page.... An addition to the wetland garden, the swamp hibiscus is a tall gaudy flower that is easy to grow and will make you look good... like you can grow anything!

Another new page, starting a new bed, shows the process from lifting turf to planting daylilies.

The links to my blog don't seem to be working right.

Here's the rest of it. I should be able to discuss being robbed of everything without having it all filtered out.

God knows that when we lose as much as I've had taken from me, We need to find a way to get this known about.

Who knew that you could google myspace tutorials?  I found a tut on div overlays, and I was then able to escape the myspace standard profile. On top of the div, I pasted in a page from my site, Now it matches! Or did...
Find the profile here:
http://www.myspace.com/stonethegardener

I may just use it (my profile template), for a doorway page. My page with the slide show doesn't get enough traffic to justify being the index...

It's important to stay on top of this stuff, constantly adding stuff, trying one thing, and then another to keep the site pages relevant and fresh.

I had sixteen hundred page views on my garden site yesterday, I seem to be doing something right... I'd be making plenty of sales (judging by all of the mail I get),  if I hadn't been so completely devastated with the losses that I've been going through lately. I had a plant nursery that was ready to open to the public, and as soon as I found a way to display my stuff, I had everything stolen from me & they're trying to make it look like I choose to leave! Worse, They are making it difficult to find help (or to warn others), by writing my webhosts claiming that they took me to court to make me stop talking about what they did! More info

I wasted two years and a lot of plants trying to establish my plant nursery in TN, trusting someone who thought so little of me that she refused to ask a friend to help me with my situation... Should have been a clue! She seems to believe that Yonder screwing me over justifies anything that she's done.... What? Does someone want to explain that?

I've made some very bad choices in who I've been trusting. You still have to trust people, and do things for them. The alternative seems to be ending up surrounded with people who cannot be trusted... Who refuse to do anything for you. Wait a minute... if that was the only kind of people I had around me, I'd start to think it was me! As it is, It was just Yonder & Son, and then the problem in TN.

I've had pnemonia since November, I'm still unable to work. I'm ready to feel better, people tell me that when they had it, they were sick for as long as six months.

As I'm unable to work, I have time to do computer stuff.

I built a new AA site.
It's meant to help people find meetings and events here in middle GA. I hope that it serves a need.

There's meeting schedules posted, upcoming events, sobriety links, and a forum where anyone can post their recovery information.

Soon to be included, discriptions of the local meeting places with directions, and thoughts on recovery.

I'm back from a trip to GA where I've been for the past 3 weeks, helping the clients that I still have down there.

Who would believe that 3 weeks would make such a difference? The peas that had just begun blooming are pretty much through. There was huge patches of dodder in the mountain garden. Dodder is a parasitic plant that grows as threads that wrap around everything and feed off the plants that it climbs. To remove dodder requires pulling everything that it is on. Any little pieces of dodder left behind become more infestation.

I'm still sleeping in my truck down there, the Yonderfamily still hasn't made things right with me, I'm still evicted from the house I built while buying in. They haven't compensated me one dime for my 15 years of continous hard work, investing every dime I made, keeping my client list short so that I could spend most of my time building my homestead. They claim that they want people to homestead!

I heard a report that one family was finally "allowed" back in the house they built, after their place had been ransacked. I hear that the entire 100 acres has been timbered. I had stands of pine that I'd been maintaining for the production of pine straw. I think that cutting everything down rather than investing a little work to create a continuing income is typical of the criminally short view they took in throwing people out of their homes, claiming that they were building community.

I've been working on my site, added a rudimentary style sheet, changed the look of my nav bar, & spent some time working on the look of the garden forum. I posted a Louisanna Iris page as well.

I've been asked to be moderator at the Webmaster Forums, that's kind of neat.

The Louisianna iris are through blooming, the daylillies are in full bloom now. I've been growing daylillies from seed, it's very exciting to see the new colours. I took a patch of my rescued daylilly seedlings to a client last year, those looked very nice too.

I've started a shade garden webring. Speaking of shade, I've just added a Ladyslipper  page to the shade garden section on my site.

I found some of the pictures deleted from my blog and have created a produce page for year-1 of the Mountain Garden.

I wish that I had more pictures of my place at the Yonderfamily community to post....I was busy building something out there & I didn't document it thoroughly enough. After 15 years of continous effort, it should be a given that I had something really nice created out there which only reflected well upon the community.

I probably should write up (again) a description of the homestead that I built from nothing. I'll post a link if/when I get it written.

Meanwhile....I've been re-digging the beds in the Mountain Garden for more depth, incorporating lots more manure...Clearing out big patches of honeysuckle and putting in garden beds in their place. The columbine have been beautiful...I still have no decent pictures...Here's one that I did take...

picture of columbines

The Louisianna Iris have begun to bloom! I love Louisianna Iris! I've been getting the new Brugmansia cuttings planted...also all of the vegetables that go with vegetable gardening.

Sorry if I don't tell enough about vegetables, My first love is colour...there's lots of ornamental vegetables that can be grown, and I do grow some of them...I like to plant my ornamental hot peppers in  peoples flower gardens when I'm helping them.

We were finally building decent housing at the Yonderfamily community after a very long time of extremely primitive conditions.

When Yonder's son threatened to throw us out after we'd made commitments to the property, buying in, building homes and gardens, I refused to accept that as a viable approach.

I warned Andy, (Yonder's son) that if he wanted to build community, the place to start was to build trust with us.

This business of sending threatening letters to my webhosts is more of the same insane reasoning that went along with threatening our homes.

Why does Andy think threatening people makes sense?
Why does he think that throwing everybody out of their homes is the way to build community?

Why does he think that throwing us out of the homes we built is a logical  first step toward getting funds from the public for  the homeless?
See yonderfamily.org
It is difficult not to notice... there's no evidence of them helping anyone.

They aren't helping the homeless when we're being thrown out of the homes that we built. How hard is that to understand?

I hate to keep harping on this, but I really did a lot of work, and invested a lot of money in my community. When Yonder's son decided that he ran the place and told us that our previous investments didn't count...that wasn't acceptable. When they tell my webhosts they are outreach and I'm being disgusting for reporting the conditions there, that isn't fixing the damage they created by throwing us out of the homes we built with our own materials, tools and labour.

Thank you Nikki & Stephanie, I've been a lone voice in the wilderness over this and the wolves are getting closer.

Someone has been sending emails to my webhosts threatening to sue if my complaints about the Yonderfamily weren't removed, claiming that my statements are 100 percent false and proveable in court! Why try to prove it? Why not just tell me that I'm not thrown out anymore! They're even making the claim that I'd been ordered not to complain! Now that is slander!  I was thrown out of my house, Legally evicted from all I've done over 15 years while buying in!

Not everybody feels like I should be silenced

Community must be about trust. When trust is betrayed, and the betrayers hide behind legalistic jargon refusing to participate in open discussion, they threaten the very fabric of civilization.

The Yonderfamily community was just about to take off as a real community, several of us had finally built liveable housing after years of  very rough conditions. What is it about some people who are determined to destroy something good?

Yonder: Fix this! Apologize to the community, Apologize to the judge! Stop the attacks and bullying! Stop calling me the trouble-maker! I made the community look good. I piped water out to the community and got a ration of grief over it. I fed everybody that came to me, I offered to share my garden with everybody who had an interest, I gave plants to everybody that wanted them. The trouble-maker has always been your son. Your son harrassed everybody who bought in and built a house untill they were all gone. You owe it to yourself to admit your mistake and recognize what kind of community your son has created by telling everybody that 15 years of agreements were over.

I've just lost huge sections of my blog because I refused to give up my house and plant nusery quietly.

It seems that by making threats and telling false information, the people that threw me out of my home of 15 years were able to cow the powers that be here at myspace and have all mention of themselves (the people who threw me out of the house I built) removed from my personal blog!

I'm sorry, but I have a right to complain about having my home stolen, I have an obligation to warn others who might be in danger of being taken advantage of by these people.

A few months before I was suddenly thrown out, I said really nice things about my community whenever I could. It's insane when they  justify throwing everybody out of the homes we built, as building community.
