In Hebrews 10:24 it says, "spur one another on toward love and good deeds."

Ten:24 groups are made up of 3-5 young people who meet up every week or so to pray for each other, read some Bible together and to make sure that everyone is being well looked after by the Church.

Every month we publish some fresh notes to help you when you meet together, but you don't have to use them if you don't want to - only if you find them helpful in your Ten:24 group.

Ten:24 groups are always single-sex.

If you want to be in a Ten:24 but don't know how to go about it, speak to Matt Davis. Matt keeps an informal record of all the Ten:24 groups (but he'll never do a 'register'!) and its his job to try and put new people into Ten:24 groups that would best suit them.

Contact Matt Davis (St Thomas' Trainee Youth Minister) on 07901 520 102 or at matt_davis2004@hotmail.com

Community Groups (CGs) are larger than the intimate Ten:24 groups and are made up of young people of a similar age or who have a common interest.

They meet together every week in a variety of locations for the purpose of being church in our world.

All of the CGs for u14s (Years 7, 8 & 9) are run by adult leaders. There are many other CGs that appeal mainly to 14+ (Years 10-13), and these are run by young people.

All of the CG leaders receive oversight and encouragement from CG overseers.

Some of the u14 CGs include: Rock Solid 9, Rock Solid Friday & Rock Solid Thursday. Some of the other CGs include: Fusion & The Jamb.

To help support the CGs we also run a weekly Bible study and a weekly leadership academy. There is also the weekly Sunday worship at Wyvern that brings together many of the Ten:24 and CGs.

Once a month we try to bring the whole of the St Thomas Church Youth Network together in one place. We do this at The Hub (Eastleigh Rugby Club) on Bishopstoke Rd. on the first Friday of every month. Quite imaginatively we call it '1st Friday @ The Hub'.

We meet at 7pm for a meal together before worship & words at 8pm. Once we've finished that we enjoy our time together relaxing listening to some of the best local bands in the after-hours section.

1st Friday @ The Hub plays host to a wide variety of musical styles. From drum & bass to rock worship, we try to find a way to engage with God using the music around us. 1st Friday at the Hub is also the main source of finding out about plans for the future and for hearing great news from the rest of the St Thomas Youth Network.

Entrance is free before 8:30pm. After then, entrance costs £2.50
