Lexitricity Productions are looking for original plays or film scripts that can be adapted into plays. Now is your chance to see your work come to life on stage.

The story must be set in contemporary London (60’s-now) and can tackle any issue you feel passionately about, but in a way that moves away from stereotype. We are looking for original voices and original ways of tackling the issues that affect us all. The more provocative, fearless, hard-hitting (and even humorous) the better. No holds barred. There are no restrictions on genre: it can be anything from savage drama to comedy, and take any form from a full-length play to a series of vignettes.

You have a mere 2 weeks to submit your work for consideration, so please spread the word and email Alex with a synopsis and PDF of the piece, together with a short biog of the writer at: production@lexitricity.com with 'Play' in the subject line.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival - Flat share Available

Single room for rent. Available for 3 weeks from Sunday 9/08/09 to Monday 31/08/09.

The flat has 4 lockable single rooms in total and a shared bathroom and kitchen facilites with sitting / eating area. The kitchen has basic cooking utensils / fridge / cooker etc. The flat comes with a set of bedding per bed but you need to bring towels. There are communal laundry facilities within the block and machines are coin operated.

The location is just off the Cowgate so very central.

Would suit Edinburgh Festival Fringe performer, technician etc.

The room would be £230 per week.

Set designer required for theatre production

A set designer is required for a theatre production called Reality Chokes, a play about a punk band who stage a reunion.

The dates are July 13th to August 2nd for rehearsing at Kink Bar, 342 Caledonian Road, London N1.

The show is going up to Edinburgh from there.
