So I found this little thing on craigslist about finding a roomate and honestly... I think Nicole put it up trying to offend the gays like she offended geriatrics (people over 30 years old) lol. I just don't understand it and I just think it's a joke.
I am in the process of looking for a mature roomate who is responsible and willing to split everything down the middle. Please be bi or gay and NOT OUT disease free responsible and an adult. Please have a JOB!!! Looking for someone around my age. Please be DL and not out to anyone. If you are the type that people think your gay but arent sure then you should not apply. If you unpurposely pronouce you "S" then dont apply. If I can tell then dont apply. If your parents no then dont apply. If you consider being open then dont apply. If you need a picture then dont send me a message. We can meet in person to discuss this and get a vibe for eachother.
NOT LOOKING TO RENT A ROOM OR MOVE IN WITH ANYONE SO PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL.
NONsmoker PLEASE...(Including weed and drugs)
Lets make this happen ASAP!!! IN YOUR 1ST EMAIL TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF AND LEAVE YOUR NUMBER PLEASE THANK YOU... NO ONE OVER 26 PLEASE THANK YOU.
Forget the grammar. Forget the random use of the caps lock. This ad doesn't make much sense to me. You want someone to be gay no bi, but not out. That's like saying you want a chocolate cake but you don't want the calories. Greedy. The applicant can't be out to anyone... except obviously whoever posted this ad. Huh?

So I went to Florida with my family, driving down Thursday, and driving back home on Monday. It was a very spontaneous trip in that I only had two days notice. Basically my parents asked when I would start my job and if I wanted to go. I was really hesitant to go because I would be stuck with my parents for a while, I wouldn't have my friends or cousin to talk to, and I thought about resting up before starting my job at Sentara. But then I wondered if Disneyworld lost its magic. You know how when you're younger everything was much more spectacular? You were amazed by the simplest things. It's like when I went to the Virginia Living Science Museum for a field trip when I was young, and when I went back a few years ago I could touch the ceiling. It just wasn't nearly as impressive and I was disappointed. Well, I was expecting the same with Disneyworld, but fortunately I was wrong. When I went to the theme parks, I felt so nostalgic. Cinderella's castle is still as grand as I remembered it. The rides I rode. The decor, the shows. All of them, I remembered clearly. They haven't changed. I stood at the exact same spot where I watched the fireworks at Epcot ten years ago. It was like I could be a kid again before I get thrusted into this new stage in my life full of responsibility. It was refreshing, and I'm glad I chose to go. I thought to myself that when I have children they can't miss out on this.

Current mood: overstimulated
Category: Life
So today I decided to make my parents dinner for two reasosns. One is to show them that I'm grateful and productive. I'm not just lying around, pretending to look for a job. I found some really good prospects, but I'm a bit hesitant. I don't know how Chesapeake Regional Hospital operates, and being used to Sentara facilities for the past two years I know how things work despite rotating to different units. So to put it blatantly, I'm scared to jump in and commit to CRH. But here I am digressing.
So anyway, back to dinner. I went to Farm Fresh all early in the morning. I think it was 12:45 pm. But I'm walking through the store grabbing ingredients to make Chicken Cordon Bleu. I had stuffing at home so I just needed to figure out a protein to go with it. I get home and start prepping. I'm pounding the chicken breast with a mallet, I stuff the chicken with ham and cheese, and then I put it in the fridge. An hour later I start cooking. I lightly dust the chicken with flour, dip it in egg, then cover it with Panko breading. I preheat my oven and once it hits 350 I toss the chicken in there.
So here's where the title of this blog becomes relevant. I'm making stuffing. I boil the water, add the butter, then add the box of instant stuffing. I take the pot off the stove and in five minutes I start fluffing the stuffing. Well, I put the cover to the pot on the stove and when I reached for it, I burn the tip of my finger. Ouch. So now I have a blistering index finger. I turn to my vast nursing knowledge and run cold water on right on the burn to stop the heat from continuing its damage on the tip of my finger. As soon as I pull my finger off the stream of water it would start to hurt. I decided to pop some acetaminophen.
Now does this burn stop me from finishing my dinner? Hell no. I finish cooking, plate everything, and call my parents away from the filipino channel to eat. It was pretty good, I must say. I personally would rather have used regular breading instead of Panko cause it tasted like an Asian dish. Stupid Tyler Florence recipe. So afterwards I help clean up and now I'm in my room with a coke and chocolate to make me feel better. The medication is kicking in and I'm typing so very slowly since I can't use my finger. Well, off to watch a little television.

Happy New Year one and all. Last year was just so good, I don't know if it could be topped. I mean, the last few months in general have been good to me. I don't really have any plans. My goals are pretty vague so far, but I told Nicole my New Years Resolution is to fall in love. She then told me I fall in love every week, but that's not love. Those are just infatuations. So here's to supporting those that are really in love.

God, I haven't blogged in over a month. Kinda weird. Explanations are in order, but not right now. I'm a bit hypoglycemic. So for now watch these puppies, before they're sent to their new homes.

Current mood: sick
Category: Life
I've been sick for the past 10 days. I've got so much going on right now in my life and I'm so mad that my body refuses to cooperate. I don't feel any better. I actually feel worse. I'm pretty much done with school. It's just the NCLEX and then getting a job afterward. I just feel so overwhelmed in the fact that I want to be happy for making it, but I can't celebrate cause I'll cough out a lung if I even attempt to laugh. I haven't slept longer than 4 hours in the past couple of days cause of a sore throat, a persistent cough, congestion, or chills. It's so bad that Nicole and Anne both said I sound like a man on the phone. All the medication I'm taking isn't working. I've ingested enough vitamin C that I'm sure if you give me a little squeeze i'll come up with orange juice for you. I'm just sick of being sick

Current mood: uncomfortable
Category: Sports
So now that the Olympics are over... what sports can I actively watch without feeling butch? Well, there I was just lounging and watching the US Open. It was 3 seed Novak Djokovic vs 8 seed Andy Roddick. It was a very thrilling match and I was seeing a big surge and comeback for Andy Roddick after Djokovic was up two sets to one. Roddick was getting crazy fan cheers (cause it's the US Open and Djokovic is Serbian) and I wasn't sure who to cheer for. Well, eventually Djokovic won and then came the most uncomfortable moment of the night. People started booing him! During his postgame interview, the people were actually booing because he said he didn't like what Roddick said about him earlier in the week. Apparently Andy has been joking stating that his opponent is faking his illnesses. I was kinda mad at this because even if he were faking his injuries, who are you to call him out? If he had so many injuries then why don't you just keep quiet and beat him quick and easy? I didn't see Djokovic take any medical breaks during this match and at his last match I saw him actually rule against one of the judges stating that his opponent's ball was not out of bounds giving his opponent the point. I think I was also angry at the booing audience. I wasn't sure if they were just showing some serious US pride or just didn't like the fact that Djokovic called Roddick out on his little jokes. I felt really uncomfortable and kinda sad people can't act respectfully.

So Forbes has just released their top 10 highest paid movie actresses. 10. Angelina Jolie - $14 Million 9. Amy Adams - $14.5 Million 8. Meryl Streep - $16 Million 7. Sarah Jessica Parker - $18 Million 6. Jodie Foster - $23 Million 5. Gwyneth Paltrow - $25 Million 4. Reese Witherspoon - $25 Million 3. Jennifer Aniston - $27 Million 2. Keira Knightley - $32 Million 1. Cameron Diaz - $50 Million I am amazed that Nicole Kidman isn't on the list considering she's been making bank on movies that fail at the boxoffice. I still love her though and she's in a movie called Nine which from the initial look at the cast boasts five Oscar winners and all of them were Oscar nominated except for Fergie. Another surprise left off the list is Scarlett and Natalie. Jennifer Aniston is making such a huge salary despite not having a hit since The Break Up. Hopefully He's Just Not That Into You will be a good movie, even though it's not coming out until next year. Cameron making $50 mil? Lord Jesus. All them Shrek movies are sure paying her salary, but I'm actually more excited by The Box which has a pretty cool synopsis.

So my favorite crew from ABDC was voted off. I loved Fanny Pak. They were always fun, creative, entertaining, and brought the best to the show. Their crew was unique and it kinda shows ABDC as a popularity contest. Nice that they made it so far though, but I wanted to see what they would have brought to the finale. I'm sorry but So Real Cru kinda bores me. They were good in the beginning, but all their dances start looking the same. Super Crew definitely belongs in the top 2. They're ninjas I tell you!! Plus, some of them are pretty attractive. I hope they win, and I hope Fanny Pak keeps on cause they turned me into a fan.
