So my roommate is a fucking asshole. If it isn't bad enough that his wife took his kids and left with no notice, now he has done the same to go persue her even though the cunt cheated on him. Whatever, let him get fucked, and though it thuroughly screws me over for rent It hsa left me with some toys, literally. He left all of his shit, including a very nice acoustic guitar, and all of his kids toys, which I will be using to experiment in circuit bending. It should be great and will increase my arsenal for the shows I may be playing this summer. nd

I'm working on tracks for a split with Trans Atlantic Rage. http://www.myspace.com/transatlanticrage This project comes highly recommended. Listened to his stuff a ton at work its great thats all I can really say. He's also done a couple splits with Koobaatoo Asparagus. This will be the same idea as last time, about four tracks a piece. I've so far finished one track and we're hoping to have it all complete by new years to be released on Audio Sodomy. Theres also a collab in the works with friend, punk mentor and original SI collaborator Ryan Moore. He's done a couple of back beat projects in the past few months and he's always changing his name or his project completely to see what he's manifested as most recently check out WWW.MYSPACE.COM/THISDRAGONLOOKSSCARY
Hes going to be handling the beats and I'll be laying down some noise on it. Work on this will likely begin with the next few weeks. we haven't talked about how we're gonna release it. nd

Please head over to: http://www.necktar.info/NecktarCalling2009.htm to follow updates on the Nektar release. I just received confirmation of the reception of my submission to Nektar 2017 Vol. 2. I'm very proud of this piece, and it has been well received by Nektar. The track "Permanent Press" comes from a days worth of field recordings, and weeks of editing. There was even a point when I finished the track but forgot to save the tracks. I had to go back over all those field recordings. But it was well worth it. The theme this year is Random / Perception / Cycles : Reproduction Alot of great names have submitted work.
The Comparative Anatomy compilation will be released on Mind Flare Media. They are a burgeoning Underground label from charlottesville virginia, sure to be of the underground elite of the future. I'm proud to be on the first release from this label. Progress on this will undoubtly move quickly due to the excitement of all involved. Can't wait to hear this product. Please check out the label and let them know if your interested in doing a release.

So its December and as promised I will be finishing up work on the Koobaatoo Asparagus split. I'll probably have those finished this week end. I will also be working on some harsh noise for a compilation with Comparative Anatomy. Apparently this is going to be the real deal. Their going to press an actual CD through a label. I guess I'm moving on up. So far its in just the beginning stages, but a number of bands have already signed on including Torturing Nurse. It should feature some pretty sweet packaging. I will be selling some at a price to be determined, but if anyones interested send me a line. I'll also probably be leave some at my local Bull Moose record store. Please check out these bands that have already signed up:
Also I am master working in my brain a series on Dadaism. I'm thinking of three CD's. the basic premise is, I will be taking music from the Dada period (and potentially a little bit further back into Furturism) and mix it up in Dada fashion, using the law of chance to remix it. I'm also looking at Dadaist texts, particularly their Manifestos to recite, in English and German. I'm tossing around the idea of making the Third disc a comp so if anyones interested in a contributing a tribute to Dadaism, lemme know. nd

Well to start I like to congratulate the House of Representatives for taking their thumbs out of their ass and finally concocting healthcare legislation. But lemme get this straight, democrats have been working on healthcare for years and it took this long to draft a bill that doesn't even pretend to be universal coverage? Oh thats right there are mandates. So when you've broken you leg can't go to the doctor, you can blame the government for the reason you can't even afford tylenol now. But all kidding aside I'm glad this happened. Republicans are wincing at it 1.1 trillion price tag, but look what they spend trillions on when their in power; just more patients for the government hospitals their afraid of. They of course would like to take a much lighter approach. One representative called the measure extreme, saying we need to help those who fell through the cracks in the healthcare system, which once again proves, doesn't it, just how moronic republicans really are. First of all, if by crack he means the giant fucking hole in the wall, then very good, your right. But isn't this the point? Were not doing healthcare legislation for those who need one more provider. We're doing it for that roofer from maine, who says "Ehh! Fuck doctors, I fix my own self right up" right up until they come falling to the earth like 200 lbs of shingles and have lost their lively hood. So good job Reps, heres to hoping the Senate doesn't fuck it all up . . . Make Ted proud

FUCKING CHRISTIANS I was stopped about 3 times Halloween night, handed literature to the effect of, I'm a bad person, come to the Berean Baptist Church or go to hell. Naturally I laughed jovially at the silly christians. "Silly Christians," I said "Its halloween tonight, there's a sweet show at MJ's why not come get drunk with me?" Of course I knew they would decline, for the chance to look smug and self aggrandizing is there drug of choice. "Oh no I don't drink, blah blah I love Jesus blah blah." And I thought nothing else of it. And I thought all was fine. Then I check the election results this morning and I realize those sneaking fucking Christians weren't just out there "saving souls" They were out there capturing the hearts and the minds of the voters. How is it that a state that could amend its constitution to add sex orientation as a protected civil right, really just go and do something that takes their rights away. By voting yes to repeal the state legislatures decision to allow gay marriage, we have essentially allowed something unconstitutional to pass. And in essence what is the problem, its religious. Those people don't want gays marrying at their church. Well their church has all rights to not allow gays to marry there. This is a legal issue. I talked to my parents about this and was a little shocked to hear that they were siding with the neocons. My father actually told me, he doesn't care if gays have equal rights to "marry" eachother, and have all of the benefits of that institution, but he objected to calling it marriage. I about shit my self. thats it, thats the issue. And all I could think is, man christians are fucking stupid. and this morning I repeated the same thing. Not even my father thought this was going to turn out in his favor. But there are somethings to be thankful for. While the conservatives put all there resources into crusading against the gays, they dropped the ball on mary jane. Mainers have voted to expand the number of ailments medical marijuana is good for, and authorized dispenseries, with a very large margin. Which just goes to show we love to get high here in maine. Next stop legalization and taxation. which would piss off the TABOR people who lost, again, and have sworn to bring the question back to the people, again, unfortunately. Fucking idiots nd

Work has begun on a new album. Its based on the deaths of celebrities through the past year. Each track name is inspired from the way which each celebrity has died. So far I have bass tracks for songs based on Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze, and David Carradine. The tracklist so far is "Mike's Propofolic Nightmare" "Pat's Pain in the Pancreas" "Kang's autoerotic fantasy machine"
I'm working on lyrics, and project to be finished before thanksgiving. stay tuned
