7pm - 2am - all ages, special guest DJ's and band performances - video's, giveaways, food ...and prizes for best "back in the day" costumes

Sunday - free BBQ Skatebash

Having thrived 10 minutes from the border for almost 20 years - we know how cheaper US prices can PISS people off...FINALLY, changes to Canadian pricing will allow us to be as close TO PAR with US pricing as we've EVER been able to. Here's the deal - immediately starting with shoe prices - our NEW Canadian pricing will be the US retail price plus the 18% duty (on imported shoes)

ie: instead of a $60 shoe in the US costing over $100 in Canada...that same shoe will NOW BE $74.99!!

Why the 18%? Its the duty (tax) our blood-sucking govt charges all footwear coming into Canada - to "protect" the Canadian shoe manufacturers (yeah we know - WHAT Canadian shoe manufacturers?)...more likely going towards your cousin's welfare cheque while he sits at home playing X-Box and smoking weed all day...but we digress.

So what's it all mean? If you go over and buy a fresh pair of awesome kicks at "best skateshop ever" USA...on your way back if you get caught with them at the border - they'll add on the 18% duty, plus sales tax + GST...and Mom and her minivan get flagged on the computer as a "non-declare"...ruining her Crown Royal duty-free gravy train. Bottom line - same price as goin down to SUD's and picking up the same shoes. Sure you can wait in long-ass lines and sneak em across and save the 18%....ie: approx $12...unless you ...eventually....get...caught.

Next up - clothing - by June we should be in the SAME situation as shoes....and HOPEFULLY the days of a $60 US deck are not far behind!
