To friends of the Sugi Tap,
The last official Sugi Tap song for a while is available exclusively in our Snocap Store, "Peace of Mind". It's a standalone track, not part of the E.P. It's $.99 for the download. Go check it out while it's still available!

Eve6ers/tappers,
To all of you interested in following our work outside of Eve 6/Sugi Tap, take a look at the brand new Puddle of Mudd album "Famous" that was released this week. We wrote and produced a track on it, number 5 "We Don't Have To Look Back Now". The guys in this band are excellent gents, show them some support!

The Sugi Tap is dead....long live the Sugi Tap!!!Hey boyz and girlz, So here's the big news. You probably figured it out by the title, but yes, Eve 6 is coming back. After a 3 year hiatus, we're getting our stuff together to get out there and play for you all once again. We've given it a lot of thought and ultimately decided the best thing to do would be to make more music as Eve 6. There isn't a defined plan for a new album yet, but one will eventually be forthcoming. To start with we'll play some shows, simple as that. The first one is actually two short weeks away at the University of Mary Washington in Virginia (Oct. 20th). However we have been told that this show is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, just students at the university. We would love nothing more than to see all of you crammed onto the quad at this nice little college, but not to worry, you'll see us soon. If you happen to live in the LA area we're also playing a benefit for the Donate Life Foundation on October 26th with Alex Band from the Calling and others. Check here http://www.myspace.com/donateliferocks1 for more information. At this time, Jon Siebels will not be returning as our stalwart guitar player. Things are cool between us all though. We talked to him about this, and he's decided to focus on his new band, Monsters are Waiting, and on his career as a producer here in Los Angeles. We've worked out the necessary arrangements, and he's given us his blessing to carry on the name in his absence. Our pal Matt Bair from Band Camp will be handling guitar duties at these shows. Make him feel welcome! We've been spending a lot of time writing and producing for other artists, so that along with the return of Eve 6 means that the Sugi Tap is paused indefinitely. Thanks to everyone that purchased the EP. It will only be available on the Snocap Music Store and our own online store for a short time more, so if you haven't picked up a copy do it now before it becomes unavailable. We'll put up one last bonus track for the remaining few weeks. Look for us to play some of the tunes at future Eve 6 shows. That's it for now. Everyone should go and friend us at myspace.com/eve6 -- this is where we'll be spending most of our online time now. See you out there! tony and max, The Sugi Tap/Eve 6

Yo everybody,
First off thanks to all the kindhearted and goodsouled people that have been writing in to us with compliments, comments, jokes, haikus, etc. We read them all and try to answer as many as we can. And thanks to everyone that's picked up the EP so far. We hope it's finding a home in iPods across the universe this summer.
As for what's going on now, I can't really divulge, but I promise we're working every single day on what we do and it will all pay off in the end for everybody. So just hang in there. I'm sure we will in some fashion be playing live in your city some day soon. And we will have new music and some sort of proper release probably even sooner. In the meantime we will be checking myspace here, so keep writing us stuff. We like it lots....

3-21-07 The Sugi Tap Music Store has arrived. Our self-titled, debut EP is now available exclusively in our Snocap Music Store in high-quality MP3 format (256 kb/sec). Six tracks total, one of them completely unheard until today. You can buy the EP for $5.50 as a whole, or individual tracks at 99c each. The sixth song is an album only track, available only to those that buy the full EP. Just click the plus sign next to the EP title to show the individual tracks. We of course recommend buying the entire EP; the song order has been carefully planned by a team of doctors and nuclear physicists to provide maximum stimulation.
The Music Store will lead you through a few simple steps to sign up for a Snocap account, and you'll have the songs in minutes. At this time VISA, Mastercard, and Paypal are accepted. Since Snocap is such a new thing, we're not sure what the policy is for buyers outside the U.S. If you're an international customer, just go for it and see what happens. If you're having trouble, know that Snocap is improving every week, so it won't be long before anyone can purchase music through the store.
We're gonna be providing some goodies in the following weeks as well; video clips, video blogs, bonus tracks, fun stuff. And we'll have the HTML source of our music store up so you can embed it into your own myspace page, messages, or bulletins. Spread the word! We hope you enjoy listening to the music in the comfort of your own iPod now. C U later alligators.
