Celebs are people...however unless you live/work in that environment, it's rare that you might see a celeb, unless also you're a papparazzi!
07/15/2007- Lunch at the Red Lobster Torrance, CA: My Husband and I were having lunch with our friend, as we were sitting eating, an hour later I heard a distinct voice and I looked forward. None other than Kyla Pratt (One on One, Love & Basketball Star) was having lunch with a friend next to us. As we were leaving, my husband stepped to their table and said wow you look familiar...he asked her if she knew about DVS (Diverse Society, my husband did bass for the group, signed under Coolios record label), she replied no. Then, my husband was like I know you from some where...lol....and she said i'm an actress...lol...duh...I laughed...then I said I knew that voice sounded familiar. Kyla laughed and said yeah I know me and my big mouth...and we all laughed. We then said to them have a nice lunch, and she said you guys take care. Thanks Kyla Pratt!!!
07/18/2007- A trip to the gym, turned trip to Beverly Hills, CA: Unfortunately my friend Bri left her laptop at work...so we skipped the gym, on the quest to save her laptop. Rolling back down San Vacinte (in Beverly Hills) who other than Matthew Perry (Friends Star) is riding next to us...here's where it turns hilarious...lol...I look over cuz the guy driving is handsome...my friend Bri turns to me and asks is that "Chandler"??? What is his real name? As I am blanked out, I couldn't figure it out. So Bri turned down the radio, and politely said excuse me...he actually turned around and took his shades off....Bri continued to say she loved him in friends and other movies and he smiled and graciously said "Thank you"....how nice...then Bri then said "and congratulations on your new baby"....LOL...Matthew Perry quickly turned down his radio and said "Whatttt" (with a smile and laughter of course)....so embarrasing...we all cracked up with a big "My Bad"...Bri continued to say my mistake, but I know who you are...and the light changed and we rolled...laughing the whole way!!! Thanks Matthew Perry...
