For the past while, as noted in one of my recent Deviations, I think I’ve been suffering from a sort of mild winter depression. It’s not dragged me down emotionally, but really sapped my energy to do much of anything or stay focused on anything. Because of this intense sluggishness, I have been going out almost daily to force myself into activity and interact with others otherwise, I’d curl up in bed from sheer boredom of winter. I am pretty sure this is the root problem as when there is bright sun and warmth, I feel much more alive and interested in doing stuff—I am done with winter.

Needless to say, there are a few jobs I should be doing but because of this dull disinterest in things generally speaking, I’ve sort of worked on them in stops and starts. I have a commission website to build, my own website to work on, an html portfolio to make, and Charger’s mosaic to finish colouring. Again charger, I am SO sorry for taking so long on it.

I have gained some commission work for painting Warhammer 40,000 Vostroyan figures. This has been quite pleasant although the amount of time I put into painting just doesn’t really seem "profitable". However, my particular client sort of inspires me to do the best I can. He’s been pleased with what I have done and I am more than happy to do my absolute best. I am sure this will mean more work of this nature in future. I will get Photographs of the figures after he’s based it in the stone texture that he wants. I’ve seen them based and I tell you, they look snazzy. I just won’t get them until sometime after the 20th for Photographs.

The way I price my painting for figures is the cost of the figure x 3. If I have to buy the figure myself then it’s the cost of figure x 4. I am, however, open to negotiation. Have something I want?

Anyway, I need to get back to work on these Vostroyans. I have four I want done by tomorrow and so far, two are completed. I have four more to get done by Thursday (preferably wed) and I may be working on one – three more figures as well.

Anyway, See you all around later.

Subject: Long, long lull here

I have been suffering from a rather long and irksome lull over the past winter months. I am not sure what exactly is wrong, but I have not been very interested in doing anything online. It's not to say I haven't but not a whole lot.

I do hope that I get my aft in gear and start to take my Photos again. I do have goodies, such as valentines cards, Easter things, Toys, Gasha Movie toys and whatnot. I also have several comics and I am looking forward to the "reign of Starscream" comics that are coming out.

The near future has PHPBB3 upgrade for the forum, and some minor site changes as well. I will see to this at some point after I finished a painting commission for Vostroyans (Warhammer 40k Imperial Guard) which will be done by around March 20th. That's when I truly hope I can get the ball rolling on several things.

The few changes this site will see is an, hopefully, improved menu. The current system, is okay, but I feel it's not entirely clear. The font will change in brightness from the current slate grey. This makes reading the page a bit easier.

I don't think I am going to make it to Transformerscon this year. That's a bit disappointing, but it's also because a convention I wanted to do to was also on the same day. June 21st. The even is Games Day and some people are goading me into entering the "golden daemon" contest. I don't stand a chance in hell to win, but it would be fun nonetheless. Transformerscon is a three hour song and dance trip while the con is only an hour by train.

I do hope to get to the toys expo in Burlington this weekend. I live in Burlington and the Toys Expo is definitely an easy trip.

So I am still alive. Sorry for the down time. I need to work on Charger's Transformers Mosaic, but as I said, I've had a lull over this winter. It's been very hard to sit and do stuff online and I have no idea why.

Until the next time,

Subject: HEY!

First of all, I would like to give thanks to all those who have either PMed me on various boards with feed back on my website and fics, art or whatever you enjoyed. It's great to know that people stop by and have a look. So, thanks to all of you.

Now for my nitty gritty.

There has not been a whole lot for me to talk about recently which is a sort of a bummer. There could be so much going on, but here in Canada, there seems to be so little in the way of Transformers movie items; which is both good and bad. I keep an optic on for movie things but there isn't much; truly a disappointment.

However, I have found somethings out there that I couldn't resist, they shall follow shortly.

In Friends of Starscream.

Ah, Robot Heroes, absolutely adorable figures with a sort of "you can't help but love them" sort of charm. We have picked up a Thundercracker. He needed a home, and I said I would take one. I am glad, he is adorable, but now....I need to get Skywarp. So please, help me get Skywarp. He comes in a Walmart exclusive set, and try as I might, I can't find it. I would truly prefer just to get the Skywarp figure, but all of them would be okay.

Here is a pic of my current Thundercracker collection.

Thundercracker Group Shot

In Toys and Games Comics.

I have had it for quite a while but I only just put it up. I've added issue two of the Megatron Origins series, and I need to check to see if issue three is available. It's really good and I have nothing but praise for this series. I am enjoying this take on how the Decepticons have come into being. I noticed that one of the "integrated weapons systems" seem to look very much like Starscream's arm.

And the Scorponok. He's a giant robotic scorpian, which is pretty cool; however, Thunderscream explores this figure in greater detail, pointing out the pros and cons in a very professional and intelligent manner.

In The Movie Vault

New school supplies. The layout has a few "issues" but that will be solved easily enough, simply add a couple more pictures should do the trick. Most of the movie Supplies I have seen up until this time have all been Autobot related; specifically Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.

I understand that they are the Heroes of the movie and most will root for the good guys and many parents would prefer their offspring to want to be like the good guys, but there are those of us who just won't bend and we really want to see the bad guys promoted on items as well. I managed to find the backpack and pencil case, of Decepticon style, in a shoppers Drugmart. I was impressed and pleased. My husband was most likely dismayed. So, I picked them up. He did not object so I don't think there was much of a problem with it anyway.

I have heard there are binders, note books, pencils and whatnot out there, but hell if I can find the things. I have looked all over this city and as I stated in the entry of this journal, it seems that Canada is just not with the whole Transformers thing.

So I am on the lookout for anything...interesting.

Coming Soon

G1 Coloured Movie Starscream! Finally, I located a seller on Ebay who is selling it for what would be almost "normal" price in Canada IF we had a Target, which we do not. He was also offering a "bonus" Target transforming gift card (no money on it) with it, which appeals to me because I was hoping to get one of those too. So this makes me quite happy.

Wish List

And finally, before I sign off, I would like to post what I am looking for in the way of figures.

Clear Coloured SCF (Ghost) Starscream

Reversed Nightscream (Energon/Superlink)

Hellscream (Cybershark) (BW2)

Japanese clear Protoform Starscream (Interested if it's not too expensive)

Attacktix (Energon Starscream Jet)

Attacktix (Generation One Starscream)

Attacktix (Movie Starscream)

Movie Legends Starscream

Walmart Repaint of MP-03

Anything Starscream I am not aware of.

(I would like...but unlikely to get at the moment)

Japanese Clear Protoform Starscream (exclusive)

So that is it for now, I hope this site is useful to you and you have enjoyed browsing. If you wish, contact me at the email in the footer or PM me on one of the message boards I frequent. If you need to know, I am Starscream on the Sanctuary Message Board and Sunstar everywhere else. Thanks again to you all,

Subject: Finally a new optical Mouse!

I had actually written a journal entry about 20 days ago. Some of it included my thoughts on the movie, and several other things. However, due to the terrible nature of my mouse situation, I just could not get to coding it due to the problems the ball mouse was giving me.

So I have MUCH to add to this journal including much of the original July 9th entry that I never did get around to posting.

I have been updating my webiste, but again, I have not posted the new stuff in the side bars or the news section. I apologise to those who frequent this site and wonder what has happened.

So lots of things will be going onto the site in the next week or so, this includes some new toys, new section, movie promotional items and the like. Also notes of upcoming Starscream figures to wet your appetite or even horrify you.

First of all I will touch on what I thought of the Transformers Movie, which I did see on July 9th...

The Transformer Movie

I will try to say my thing without dropping too many spoilers. If you do not wish for spoilers, continue on to the "Movie Vault" for the new Starscream figure!

I saw the movie July 9th. Matinee so there were about 15 people in the theatre with me. That's the way I like it. I despise crowds. In general the movie was fun but for me to say I loved it...naw, I didn't love it. I only enjoyed it.

It had fun CG effects, action and great humour but that is it. I am not saying this because it is not G1. In many respects it is much like G1. I just have to be wowed more than I was. So far, nothing has given me fangasms as much as LOTR the Return of the King—that was awesome.

It was like G1 in that it had some odd humour and had the plot holes you could drive a semi through. I found the transformers movie a bit disjointed and hard to follow. Particularly during the big battle scene where everyone looked alike and it was tough to tell who was who.

I found the method of filming the movie a bit unpleasant. Not sure what it is called... shaky cam perhaps. I found it a bit difficult to figure out what was going on because the cam was moving all around. This made it tough to figure out who was who.

There was a bit too much human element in it. I do not like romance...well sappy romance. I recalled myself icking at one spot in the movie. LOTR has romance in it, but it does not seem to be the main story behind it and I could ignore it.

I found it interesting with the Decepticon subtitles in the movie but I actually missed what Starscream said. It was too much going on. Despite his Monkey Scream appearance, and yes I still say that he does look a bit ape like...and pigeon like...His moves were pretty slick and his aerial fighting also slick. I am disappointed he played such a minor role...I would have enjoyed more of his fighting.

It was hilarious at times and I will say I did enjoy the humour but it had issues.

Pros:

Humour

Transformer like characters

Ironhide

Action

Special Effects

Jets

Frenzy

Cons:

Poor character development.

Not enough Big fragging robots

Human Element

Romance

Plot Holes

Badly filmed (shaky cam)

Not enough Starscream

Difficulty in figuring out who was who in battle

I will get this on DVD, but I will not see it again in theatre. I will not say it sucked—that's not me, but I did feel it could have been much MUCH better. It was what I expected.

Its a good movie and I recommend anyone seeing it at least once.

In The Movie Vault.

Starscream

...Movie Starscream... he is an interesting figure if I can say anything truly positive about it. However, when I look at it it does not strike me as Starscream. Lets see... Machine Wars Starscream is named Bob... BW2 Starscream is called...Harry....Shall we name Movie Starscream Bill? A downside to this figure is that he has six hair trigger missiles. If you do not want to lose them, watch where they go.

I will be adding the small odd lunchables Starscream pocket transformer thing to the Movie Vault. I picked this up on E-bay because for some reason we do not get lunchables here in Canada. Actually, we do not get much of anything In Canada. Transformers movie stuff is few and far between and I have only seen a few odd bits and pieces. Some of these things are things like the plushy Optimus and Bumblebee toys...please... I want a Starscream plushy.. .Please!!! I would get two!!! I have also seem a small selection of Tee-shirts, both Movie and G1 related. Movie Lunch bags, however its is disappointing that all they have are Autobot things. I really really would like to get some of these things in a Decepticon theme.

Also I have plans on making the Movie Vault a section on its own right. This will include my Starscream figures and other Movie related toys, promotional items and "consumable" items.

These things that will be added are Movie party things and an all spark cube thing. It's a toy or some nature.

In The Thunderscream Files

Newly Added is a review of Movie Real Gear Spyshot 6, by Thunderscream. Again this is a nicely written review. I look forward to move toy reviews by Thunderscream in the near future.

In Upcoming Stuff

Starscream figures are coming out of the wazoo. I am not sure I can possibly keep up or not. Most likely I will be slagged for this. There are still many figures and Starscream related items I have to get and I may not be able to get them until much later. It is, quite frankly, not feasible for me to get each and every thing, therefore I must attempt to keep my focus on primary targets.

I hope to be landing the G1 Repaint of the Movie Voyager Starscream sometime. It, however, is a target exclusive so it is not available in Canada. Hasbro... STOP WITH THE EXCLUSIVES! I also hope to be landing the G1 repaint of the MP-03 Figure which WILL be a Walmart exclusive.

Coming around Christmas is a G1 Starscream statue (bust) and new pictures have been released of the Transformers "animated" cartoon characters and their toys. Scary enough, Starscream looks like Batman but looks quite cool too. I look forward to that figure as he is very nice.

Coming at some time is the most dreadful thing related to Starscream I have seen. Despite my nature to be a completist for Starscream, I may pass on this. I cannot justify getting a transformer toy that is a shoe with the name Starscream attached to it. It holds little to no interest to me and is simply a marketing gimmick. Although it was fun the first time they released Megatron and Optimus, they are pointless. So that is my stance on the shoeformer.

Also, I may be adding a section to the site that is non transformers. This will be the Warhammer figures I have returned to in the period of time that my mouse was all messed up. I forgot how much fun I used to have painting these figures and I will be getting a section sorted out in due time with pictures of my units and some "story" to fit them into the Warhammer World.

So anyway, this is all I can think of for now, please check back soon for some new additions and fun things!

Subject: The Day You've Been Waiting For

For some the agonising wait is over, for others it continues on. Today is the day the long awaited Transformers Movie is released in theatres. Originally scheduled for July 4th, it got moved down to July 3rd then subsequently July 2nd. This has irritated some movie go-ers as they had booked off July 4th for opening night. July 2nd is an advantage to most of us Canadian folk because for some reason, Canada's day holiday—which is typically the 1st of the month—was shedualed for July 2nd. Sunstar, however, will not be going opening night. No, I plan on waiting several days because I do not much care for crowds and I am patient, I can wait.

There are many Starscream things coming in the future and it has been confirmed that the MP-03 Repaint will be a Hasbro release. Current rumour has it that it will be a Walmart release and sometime in September, so don't quote me on it. There is no current information if this figure will come with the wanted coronation gear. It would be disappointing if it doesn't but it would not turn me off from getting the figure. It could still be a Japanese release if they do decide to add the crown and cape.

It also appears that this repaint will be made in plastic with heavy "battle damage" paint which could improve or unimproved the figure. In any event, this figure will be mine. Oh yes...he shall be mine.

Due to the lack of control with my ball mouse, I have been unable to do my CG art. Disappointing really. However, my creativity will not be squelched. I have many things I can work on even though my mouse is messed up. I have taken to painting my Warhammer Orcs and Goblins army once more and have even joined a campaign over the next month or so. I may at some point add a separate page with my units and models in; however, I would like to fix up their bases. The snow bases I did turned yellow with age. Yellow snow....

Okay and now we get to the GOOD Stuff. I have updated my site with many things over the past couple weeks and I only just got a moment to sit down and write about what has been going on in the Seeker Sanctuary. Starscream...Starscream.. My dearest Starscream....what have they done to you!

In The Movie Vault

I still have yet to get hold of the Voyager Starscream figure, he's out there somewhere but in Wave 2 and I have not yet seen him! Argh!! Anyway, the Burger King Promotion with the Movie toys has started this week in Canada and they have their new toys. The Burger King Starscream toy is a non transforming PVC figure that has a battle damage marker on his chest. It has three positions and when tapped it will flip to the next level of damage.

I will make a note here on some observation, and I will have to watch for this in future figures. It appears that Starscream has six digits on each hand. Not only on this Burger king figure but on the Fast Action Battler as well. It seems that Starscream actually has two thumbs on each hand. It is very odd looking. I was thinking that it was simply a method of making a quicker design, but I am not so sure now. What do you think?

In The Thunderscream Files

I apologise to Thunderscream for taking so long to add his Movie Blackout review. It is a very interesting read and he has put in some interesting points that I did not know about. Read it, you'll want Blackout and Scorponok for yourselves!

In Toys and Games Comics.

I have added a lot to this page so I am going to spare myself the massive links and simply tell you what has been added lately. Check here

Current mood:  artistic

Warhamer orcs and goblin army does not have any female characters (save blood bowl). This is because they are technically an animated, blood thirsty fungus.

I have been told by purists that female characters are silly, but that is the point. I love the female orc characters because they can look SO hideous. It is similar to the Female Decepticon Debate I have been unfortunate enough to experience.

I have one other female character in my army, which is surprisingly low for what I had in mind. Female Leaders that Suffer PMS...(Potent Mushroom Syndrom)

my sculpting skills really suck with greenstuff (the blue and yellow epoxy putty that gets kneaded into green. I also have white stuff, which is blue and white that gets turned into white. Blend the two for different properties.

What I am doing is showing the original figure and how I am adding to it or removing from it. There will be changes and this sort of project can take quite a long time. Greenstuff takes several hours to cure to a firm that does not mush. So patience is a virtue too.

I chose a model that did not already have excessive amounts of things sculpted onto the chest area. Quite often there are toothy necklaces or skulls and the like already there. Truthfully I could work around this but as I cannot find my slagging sprew cutters(I may have to get a new pair) I cannot trim these off.

But the figure I found is a good choice. It already has a hair thing on the top of the head. I like that. And severed head earrings. The figure also has a nose ring. The figure also has a large amount of bulky bracelets. Very fashionable for modern standards. There are quite a few people who look like this to begin with and it will be only a matter of time before they start to sharpen their teeth.

Now to start to feminise this Orc.

The next step is simple. I add mammeries to the right spots, just under the hulking Orc head. As this is a witch-shaman I wanted them to be more saggy. I made, as usual, too much putty so I added some extra fur to the waist and a fur ankle thing. Zulu people do this so why can't my savage Orc?

I also added a pouch to the orc's hip because shamans should carry pouches with magical talismans, amulets, ingrediants...dead things.

Again, as I have said...I do not have sprew cutters so I cannot hack the axe heads off. But I may go to Games Workshop sometime soon and borrow theirs. I have a severed head I want to put on the one axe and I may use a ram skull for the other axe. I do have a number of Zombie and Skeleton sprews I can use to add to the figure. I also have a few random skaven parts...(rat men) which I might putty into the figure later.

The putty is setting quite rapidly due to the heat. To preserve the putty I freeze what remains so it can be used later. But with a fair amount of left over putty I filled in the slot on the base and for kicks, stuck a mushroom on it too. I am not sure I Like the mushroom.

To add more details.

The putty has had a chance to cure over night so its pretty solid. I knead up some fresh putty because I need it to be very soft and sticky. I start to make the fur halter top. I have decided that this will not have double straps instead it will be a sort of wrap around that closes in the middle...It looks like hell now, but once the figure is primed again, it will look even and when it is painted, hopefully it will look even better.

As I said, patience is a virtue. There is much building up of layers that has to go on and enough time to bass between each later to allow the previous later to set. Now the sex change is really starting to notice. The figure I can call female and call her a she. But there is still much work to be done. I want to add more to her top such as a cape like bit and maybe fill her boobs out a bit more. They seem a little lost.

The closure of the halter top is a pouch. I removed the mushroom as I felt it looked silly and I decided I might have a tree stump on the base instead. Also added to the figure is armpit hair. Oh yes, that's a female witch orc for you. Hideous, and hairy...I gotta love her.

Sunstar is a very unconventional person. As pretty as some of the warrior women and mage pristess figures are, they just lack Umph. Okay maybe to guys the scantily clad female figures are very nice, but realistically speaking...If they do any amount of fighting their tops will pop out...trust me. This female orc will have males running from her and happily so. If they don't she'll sit on them and crush them to death.

I am already mentally planning my next layer and I think I will be moving the belly button down lower and adding a belly button ring too. Hopefully in a few more hours I can start work on the cape.

The Skaven Grey Seer Cape.

Skaven Grey Seers are some sort of Skaven priest or prophet. They're representatives of the horned rat and they seem to have horns themselves. Rats...horn and grey. As the orc will be painted a deep red, the furs I have used on my unit are grey so this works for me. Why not have a shaman that has is wearing the skins of a different race's shamans.

I have added a Skaven rat head, filed down. It has its tongue sticking out and I may add extra features to it once it has set in the putty. I have also added one horn to the side of the head so it looks like a grey seer's corpse. Once that is all set, I can move on to more details.. layer by layer.

I did a bit more...

Cape part 2

the heat is pretty good today because the putty is setting up quickly enough for me to add more details. I  will have to wait until this evening for the cape part to set up as I need to putty on a fur layer on top of the "skin" I would also like to add some creases and things to the inside of the skin, but again I need it fairly well set up. I blended part of the cape into the current layers of green and added a few smaller layers and tufts.

On the other side of the cape I added another pouch and some "ties". The ties are tiny and I need to use a pin to move them around and get them into position. Also from this side you can see the horn on the side of the skaven's head. Yeah right now it all looks like slag, but hopefully when I am gone and it is one colour(black) then painted it'll look better.

The magickal totems.

In the previous shots you have seen that the shaman had stone axe heads, well the way I paint them its usually ice axe heads. I removed these and I am trying to get the plastic skulls attached and to get them to look like they are part of something quite special.

So far it is looking like slag, but I have only just attached them. The green stuff will assist in holding them on (I hope) I plan on puttying "leather" straps around the horns of the horned human skull, add bags and perhaps some talismans on both totems.

I am having too much fun with this project.

I went down to Games Workshop this afternoon in order to borrow some tools because...I still can't find mine... They were more than happy to let me.  They did bring up the remark about Orcs not having females. "they're asexual" But hey, in my universe anything is possible.

I hope this works out well in the end. I have put a slag load of time in it. Anyway...Oh yeah, the skulls are an Orc, ram and human.

Yes, it needs a lot of cleaning up yet.

And finally....I am allowed to double post in this thread.. :P

Totems Part 2

This is the final part, aside of the touch up filing and any touch up putty work I see fit to do. All in all the figure is completed as far as additional details are concerned. I am happy with how it looks at present so the next step will be to primer it then to paint the figure

What I did in this step was actually rip off some putty from the horned human skull and replaced it with something I felt was simpler and better looking—the leather straps and tie. On the other banner I added some leather straps and some pouches hanging under the ram's horns as well as a little extra fur detailing on the back of the rams head. It is simple and good I think.

Also I added the belly button ring. What that is is the stupid twisty ties that come with all the transformers figures. Not only is this a possible way of removing idiot children from the gene pool(these are long enough to wrap around a kids neck....and I am sure somewhere down the line some idiot is gonna bump themselves off and sue hasbro.) I twisted the wire around some tweezers, clipped it and super glued it into the new naval

I also smoothed the joins between the horns and the skull. So tomorrow, I will file it down and see if I can locate some decent primer...that's it for now.

Category: Writing and Poetry

I wrote this because HMW got a new "weapon" called kremzeek. A very very random and highly unpredictable element in the HMW game

----------------

Sunstar flew toward the small bunker that served as her home. It was what could be considered a handy mans special. It needed repair, badly in some places. However it was sufficient for the job. The CR chamber and the fuel preparation area was in good condition. The recharge and living areas were a bit dilapidated. Loose floor panels and exposed wiring made walking through the bunter a challenge in agility.

Out side the bunker a Whitespark and Windraker were playing catch with an energy ball while Thundercracker and Thunderstar practised combat with their battle blades. It was a quiet and peaceful day. It could be considered the calm before the storm as the day was only going to be a bit odder. The other Seekers were out on missions or getting small injuries sorted out.

Sunstar landed carefully by some scrub and brought out a peculiar looking box from her subspace cargo hold. Thundercracker and Thunderstar put their weapons down and greeted her.

"What's that?" Thunderscracker asked.

"Oh, just a little something I picked up from the market."

"Hmmm?" Thunderstar attempted to peer over Sunstar's wing.

"Let me get it inside, he's so cute!"

"Sunstar...what is it?" Thundercracker asked suspiciously

"Oh, I couldn't resist." She scurried inside grinning widely as she went into the fuel preparation area.

"You did not get a pet?" Thundercracker asked, his voice rumbling as the other Seekers started to file into the fuel preparation room.

"It's more than just a pet—he's a weapon." Sunstar took a couple energon goodies from the shelf and then unclasped the box. The team leaned in and looked at the small box on the centre. She flipped the lid back and a small glowing spark like creature looked up at her with big red eyes and sharp electric teeth. "here, here you go! Have a goodie, you're such a good boy."

"Kremzeek! Mummy?" it asked as it took the goody and gobbled it down.

Thundercracker inhaled a sharp breath."Sunstar, do you know what that is?"

"He's Kremzeek," she said offering the creature another goodie.

"Yes, and..." Thundercracker got cut short as the creature grabbed hold of the goodie, swallowed it whole then attacked Sunstar with a jubilant KREMZEEK cry. He bolted from Sunstar and landed on Whitespark who let out a shriek. KREMZEEEEEEK! Kremzeek!!!!

"Ow! He's so happy, look at how he likes us!" She rubbed an energy burn on her arm.

"Stop it, it's going into the computer!" Thundercracker yelled. Darkstar jumpped up from and attempted to hack into the system as the energy creature darted inside. The room was filled with joyful Kreemeek cries, shouts and yells of fear from others.

Sunstar smiled and chucked. "Isn't he so cute?" she said oblivious to the damage that was occurring.

Darkstar turned as Kremzeek landed on him and he released a low level EMP. Kremzeek dropped to the ground stunned. Sunstar quickly scooped the creature up before Thundercracker could drop a foot on it.

"You just had to get that thing..."

Sunstar smiled at Thundercracker. "It was so adorable, how can you not love it?" she said holding up the unconscious creature.

"Easily. Keep it locked up and don't let it out in the Bunker again. We'll make a circuit cage for it but you are not letting it out," he boomed

Sunstar frowned and nodded as she put Kremzeek into his box with a handful of goodies. She locked the box and hurried down the hall to her chamber.

Thundercracker looked at the computer and rubbed his forehelm. "She is one very odd femcon," he muttered as he set to repair the damaged computer.

Subject: New Toys and Reviews!

This has been a fun week of new toys. There are just so many figures out there and new items are popping up all the time. Party plates and sundry, bedding – which comes in double by the way. There are clothes, shoes, magnets and candies as well. The marketing on this movie is insane.

It has also been fun to talk to people in the stores while eyeing the figures. Some are looking for specific things while others are trying to figure it all out. I can help them out a little if they got specific questions.

In Starscream's Shrine

I picked up a few figures from a private collection sell off this week. So these fellows did not have instructions so it was a bit of fun trying to figure out how they are supposed to look.

I will start with the Beast Wars the Second Starscream. This figure actually consists of two figures the diminutive Starscream and the bulking BB. They combine to form a B52 Bomber. Between the combined characters they have fourteen missiles. They have two missile launchers for Starscream and a gatling gun that shoots six missiles when you turn the crank. The wings of the B52 holds six missiles that can be dropped like bombs. This figure is more awesome than I had initially thought. BB reminds me of B.O.T. from the G1 episode B.O.T. Starscream actually has a miss spelled name on the stickers and is called Starscrem.

One final note, on this figure and I do feel this is worthy of some notation. While I was taking pictures I managed to accidentally fire off Starscream's launcher. It flew over my shoulder, over the room divider then across the apartment. It travelled over 12 feet which I think is remarkable for a spring loaded missile launcher. I did find it again too.

Also in the BW2 theme, I got a Beast Wars the Second Kabaya Starscream figure. This is about 2 inches high and is a bright purple colour. It does not appear to have a transformation of any sort. It is a rather neat Starscream curiosity.

I will introduce the Japanese version of the EZ - Legends of Cybertron Starscream figure (Japan). This is a very nice figure that is, hands down, better than the North American release. It has wonderful paint applications. Definitely worth the addition to the collection. I will also note that for some reason I had not put the Legends of Cybertron figures on my shrine page. They are now up under this heading as well.

TRU Cybertron Starscream. This figure originally came in a two pack with Vector Prime and I did not get the Vector Prime figure as I don't always want the second figure. He is made of a red plastic, which for some reason surprised me. He's quite nice and I do like him a lot.

This was definitely an awesome deal as I got a few figures I have been wanting and a figure I did not know about. Thanks Megatroptimus!

In the Movie Vault

As I stated, there are all manner of transformers movie related items floating around. They are coming in all sorts of styles and all sorts of locations. I have found the Barrel Roll Blaster Starscream. This is an interesting if heavily kiddified toy. It has no robot mode but it does transform, in one single move, into a double barrelled Nerf gun. It is easy to use but very heavy. One interesting point I will note is the missiles shriek when they are fired. A very high pitched whistle that I missed the first couple firings. Caspar has been enjoying this toy himself as he has taken great pleasure in shooting me in the back of the head with it.

In the Thunderscream Files

Thunderscream has been writing reviews for several figures he has purchased and he seems rather well pleased with what he has picked up. He has shared with us his well written reviews once more. So if you are wanting a second opinion on new figures, please take a look.

Reviews added to the site are, Movie Barricade, Movie Brawl and Movie Protoform Starscream.

More reviews will come when Thunderscream can get to them. Check back again soon!

And finally.

I would like to thank all of those who have visited this site and have left me some feed back in private messages, emails and whatnot. I appreciate this very much and it gives me drive to continue with this ongoing project. I hope that the information or fan work on this site was useful and enjoyable. So again Thanks!

See you all around in the next update!
