.. goodbye 2008, hello 2009. what a better way to spend the transition of the years with a collection of family and friends... AND with a date. :-) the first party was also a surprise birthday party for my birth aunt so we also got cake. (WIN!) the second party was with mostly people i just met... which was also awesome. happy 2009 everyone.

.. christmas, for me, has always been a whirlwind of family gatherings. this year was no exception. video is from three separate family gatherings: Christmas Eve with the Semrad side of the family, Christmas morning with the Apps side of the family... and Christmas evening with the Bernals (my birth family) enjoy!

so i couldn't stand it anymore. it was making me not want to log into myspace at all... and even debating deleting my account here. the 963 "friends"... and the fact that myspace's user interface sucks... any "real" interaction was just drowned out by all the extra noise. so i just went through my friends list, and deleted 414 people i don't talk to (or didn't really know), bands, and all those extra random "funny" accounts.
my account feels lighter.

watched so many movies that the story lines just all run together and you create some completely new story from it? or interchange the characters from each movie in your memory unknowingly? well that's about how i'm feeling right now. try playing all of these at one time..
