whats up yall...von pea here. so check it. on May 12th we are putting out a new album (IN STORES) called "Brooklynati". thats Brooklyn + Cincinnati. so its pronounced like that...with the nati from Cincinnati at the end of Brooklyn.

i wanted to explain the idea of Brooklynati to some people because, we realize how much of an inside joke it is. since we dont represent one place we've decided to combine the 2 hometowns (Brooklyn and Cincinnati) and make our own hometown (Brooklynati). when you buy the cd on May 12th (or any day after that) there will be a map inside of the liner notes. the map ties in with this website: http://www.brooklynati.com/home.html

if you click around on that website, you will see how cool and nerdy we are. that makes us us though. dont be hatin. theres a LOT of inside jokes in there (dont feel bad, even i dont get some of them. its a group effort), stores named after people weve worked with or perfomed with over the years, etc. and its all apart of keeping the experience of putting music out fun. couldve very easily made a cd, pressed it up and called it a day but we didnt. and we arent.

why? well ill tell you why… cus we go first. and if you are on our blog chances are you care about seeing us perform. if that is the case get there on time, just like if you wanted to see Lupe on the Glow in the Dark joint you had to show up on time, this is like that on a smaller scale. yes its hip hop, yes start times are subject to change a bit but regardless we are kicking off the show in each city so you need to have your asses there on time to see it all… dont be showin up at the merch booth on that 'what time you go on' chances are if you are at a venue talkin to us and somebody else is performing you missed the show. also if you are at the merch booth it would behoove you to support the home team. we got the goods, shirts, buttons, cds, paper toys, mixtapes, stickers… nigga we got merch!
