Yes as part of the HALLOWEEN celebration, we are proud to announce that London based disco Electro stars HEARTBREAK will be coming to play a show at the TAPNTIN on Saturday November 1st. They have been touring the US with THE PRESETS (who they will also be doing some remixes for). They have an album OUT TODAY on LEX RECORDS (home to DAN LE SAC vs SCROOBIUS PIP and NEON NEON).

The album and the band overall have been receiving rave reviews all over the press including ALBUM OF THE MONTH in VICE MAGAZINE ! ! !

The live show is unmissable. Trust us. If you were lucky enough to see them headline one of the tents at that festival at the zoo; you will know that this is going to be an exciting event.

Entry wise, there will be no seperate charge to get into the venue. If you come before 9.30, entry to this is free. BLOODY FREE

On behalf of TAPNTIN we would like to make you aware of our involvement with ZOO THOUSAND MUSIC FESTIVAL. In february of 2008 we were appointed to book the artists for the main stage, tap n tin and suburban kings tents as well as some artists for the VIP tent. That was our sole role in the event. We would like to point out that we here were as disappointed as you the ticket buyer that a lot of these artists were not playing. We spent a lot of time and effort making sure you had a first class bill in Kent. I think we offered that.

We had no involvement in the organisation  of this event, the payment of the artists or the construction of tents.

Alongside the production team that were involved in the tap n tin tent we were working through the night to get that tent re opened so that you had all the great music that was booked in the first place.

I can assure you that once some of the chaos was made completely evident to us, ourselves and the directors of Port Lympne Zoo did what we could to offer you the best festival we possibly could. we were intended to be guests of the festival but we ended up being one of the main contributors in saving the infra structure and actually keeping that event going. Perhaps we should not be being as open as this but I feel that we owe the TAPNTIN customer a worthwhile explanation as we always try our best, week in week out.

Thank you for supporting this event. We appreciate it and we hope to bring you plenty of amazing bands for the forseeable future at the venue in Chatham.

Over the next 7 days, we have 4 incredible shows on that vary from hardcore punk to folk to indie so check out the myspace, check out the blog and check out the website. We do this because we care about music in kent and music coming to kent.

I hope this gives some explanation, at least from our side.

Thanks

Tap N Tin
