****This is a repost - A comment from an earlier blog posting. Thought it would make for good comments :-) Too lazy to post anything new. ****
These are few others I had a crush on but never did anything about: Lucrista Bolten - I never really got to know her hence the attraction I guess, She was a mystery to me. She was always dating men. No high school boys for her
Stacy Augins - She was one of my best gal pals but I had crushes on her on and off since 6th grade. She was always dating someone, I didn't have a good window of opportunity to ask her out ( or so I have told myself) plus if a friend turns you down for a date that is a double whammy.
Kelly Jane Smith- I really liked her. I came real close to asking her out. One of those hung up the phone before it rang deals.
Allison Appling - 6th grade crush. I think every guy had a crush on her at one time or another.
Veronica Davis, Julie Jackson, Karen Pate, Renee Smelley - Generic Crushes, kind of just following the crowd. Never thought I would have a snowballs chance in hell with these chicks.
Darlene Rogers- She was just way too nice. I bet she would be surprise to know that I has a crush on her.
Teri Tibbs - I thought she was cool. I just didn't have a jacked-up truck though.
Jerry McKinney- She was hot, smart, and just happen to be black. I wonder if she would have gone out with me if I asked her. We'll never know.
Note: All these girls graduated with me. I'd get tired of typing if I included other classes.
I would really like to know who Mike Guy had crushes on. I don't know if I would flattered or freaked out if I was one of them
I've got a request. Starting in 9th grade I had a mystery women who called me pretty much through high school. It started out as once or twice a week then tapered off to about one call a month. I would guess maybe 20-30 calls in all.
I never found out who she was. If you know who she was let me know. Sometimes there was other girls with her so I know other people know besides her.
****Still looking for my mystery caller if anybody knows who she is let me know****

No it's not a Japaneses horror film sequel. It is the County High Liars Club Annual Summer get together.
This year we're going to let you decide where and when.
Send me your suggestions on the place, time and location.
Wednesday May 21 is the deadline to get your suggestions in.
Once I get your suggestions in I'll tabulate the totals and I'll email you the top 3 suggestion and we'll vote to decide where and when to have the "The Gathering II".
Last year we had it at Wilhagen's the weekend of the 4th of July. We had a really good crowd maybe 30-40 folks.
Keep in mind we don't have to meet at a restaurant or bar. Personally I'm open to any suggestions.
I'm depending on you to get the word out to our classmates. We don't have to limit this just to those in our graduating class.
We'd all love to see folks from other classes.
Hope to hear from y'all soon!

I've been having an interesting email discussion with some of our classmates on Kickpen.
I lived in Decatur, Florence, Atlanta, Gainsville, GA, Dothan, and Montgomery where it was called kickball.
If you google "kickpen" you'll just get links from Tuscaloosa Co.
Anybody know of anywhere else its called kickpen?
I believe we have the makings of PBS documentary here.

We had a good turn out this past Friday, the best so far.
Renae Mitchell Mckinney, Mark Mckinney, Renea Smelley Henson, Drew Henson, Ken Romain, Glenn Clements, Mark Mckinney, Reggie Mitchell & wife, Cyndi Owen Tyson and Laramie Tyson were present. I think that was all.
I was told the Carmen Cooper Davis and husband were in the building but I never caught sight of her. Red heads are sneaky that way ;-}
There were lies told - no big whoopers that I could detect but still there were lies told.
There is talk of holding court this Friday even though Bama has an open date.
I'll keep y'all updated if we do decide to meet.
