With movies like Speed Racer, Transformers and the future releases of Akira, Battle Angel and more, it would only be time when outside industries started knocking on the doors of idols and entertainers from the otaku world! We are proud to announce that our own Yunmao Ayakawa is one of the first to be noticed!

This Saturday, July 19, Limanu Productions will hold their second annual Mid-Atlantic regional Ujena Cover Model Search event and they have asked non other than Yunmao Ayakawa to be a celebrity judge for their popular modeling event along side UFC Middleweight Fighter, Nick Quarry.

The Mid-Atlantic Cover Model Search/UjENA Pageant attracts beautiful and talented models from all over the mid Atlantic region and raises money for the continued support and research towards finding a cure for breast cancer. UjENA is one of the Worlds leading swimwear design companies and publishes Ujena Swimwear magazine and Swimwear Illustrated that feature models from all over the world. Their website hosts a community for models and photographers to meet up and keep up with related events.. Limanu Productions has the duty and privilege of selecting models from the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Yunmao is excited for the opportunity to be part of such an event in the US. In Japan along with her busy otaku entertainment talent duties, she is also a Race Queen and designer for Race Queen costumes and acts on various international variety shows.  It was these qualities and their hopes to present something new and unique for their event that led them to Yunmao.

Yunmao has many hopes to became a huge fixture in many fields of the US entertainment market but wants to assure all her otaku based fans that her heart will always have a passion for the Cosplay and maid culture-  Yes, she has vowed to cosplay for life!!

As for us, we hope this is just a beginning to what has been an exciting journey forYunmao since we introduced her to the US at Anime Mid-Atlantic 2006. She writes an on going article for Otaku USA magazine, she just got picked up to endorse the Kid Nemo Company, and of course, her new English Language U.S. website, yunmaoayakawa.com was recently launched!!!

By the way, if you haven't been to her site yet, what are you waiting for??? Lots of fun things to see there now, but by August you will be able to see what she is up to almost on a daily bases as we start posting her activities from Japan and America on her front page blog!!

So if you are 21 or older, in the Maryland area on Saturday, July 19 and  have the chance, please come by Jetty's Restaurant: 201 Wells Cove RD. Grasonville, MD 21638 (410) 827-4959 and party with Yunmao and us. We will be delighted to see her fans.

Hello everyone!

Just stopping in to let you guys know that we have updated our events page on our website: www.tenbuproductions.com

Listed are two main destinations for July 2008:
Anime Expo and the Mid Atlantic Ujena Model Search competition put on by Limanu Productions LLC.

I know, I know... model search? Well we have a surprise announcement to come very soon about this.  But what we can tell  you is that we are proud sponsors of this event that could mean new opportunities for idols in this field.

Beyond that, TenBu has been very busy putting together new projects and looking towards heading  to new conventions to spread word of our company and wonderful entertainers.

Some may notice that we may not have the usual presence at our local stomping ground events in the DC/ Baltimore area this year.
Though we will have a presence of some sort at events like Anime Mid Atlantic, Anime USA, and Otakon our new projects and scheduling will keep us busy in other area's and events and looking forward to having our usual solid presence in our own back yard next year. Don't worry, we never forget where were from and we hope that each of these events know they can count on us for what support we can give them.

But for now we are very anxious about our first trip to AX. in a couple of weeks.
Please stop by our table and say hello!  We'll be hanging out with our friends at Otaku USA who are planning some neat stuff of their own!!

Please keep tabs on us in the days leading up to AX - we will have some very exciting announcements to make!!!

Hope to see all of you at an event near you!!!
