In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. Orwell said that shit.

Even though the Democrats are known to be the "anti-war" party, (what are we at now? +100 days and still in Iraq, Afghanistan, and occupying a hundred or so other military bases around the world? Wow, the "change" is amazing isn't it?) a major leader in the Democratic party on John Murtha, has now been exposed as directly handing his Nephew a $4 million (at least) no bid contract for military bidness overseas. Nepetism? No way! Military Industrial Complex? What's that? No MAJOR difference between the two major political parties?

Come on.

Why keep voting?

Note:

I have changed my source for Iraqi casualties, I’m now using the average of the low/high from the iraqbodycount.org

I have estimated the number of Military deaths since the Obama Inauguration for the month of February.

I have also ceased updating average global temperature, although fun, the site is broken, but global temperature was a silly thing to watch anyway. To quote some bloke’s thesis:

"Physical, mathematical and observational grounds are employed to show that there is no physically meaningful global temperature for the Earth in the context of the issue of global warming. While it is always possible to construct statistics for any given set of local temperature data, an infinite range of such statistics is mathematically permissible if physical principles provide no explicit basis for choosing among them. Distinct and equally valid statistical rules can and do show opposite trends when applied to the results of computations from physical models and real data in the atmosphere. A given temperature field can be interpreted as both "warming" and "cooling" simultaneously, making the concept of warming in the context of the issue of global warming physically ill-posed."

So if your are a user of the 411 service on your cell phone, it may interest you that there is a FREE 411 service now offered by Google: Just Dial: 1-800-GOOG-411
But if you don't trust me, check out the website holmes: http://www.google.com/goog411/

Also, if you're into podcasts, may I recommend one that just started today? It's Adam Carolla's new podcast, now that he's freshly fired from his cushy Talk Radio Job in L.A. he's taking it to the streets. From the comfort of his own home. Check it out, he curses, almost as much as I do. Also, note this show is in it's infancy, but who knows, it might blow up like nobody's biz-nass, and then you'll have the proud distinction of trumpeting that you were on the ground floor of that shit. So check it:

Also, it's freudian SliT time:

I don't know why but for some reason when people punctuate a sentence with an verb/adverb + "much?" in an insinuating tone it really annoys the ever living fuck out of me.

I really hope this colloquialism goes the way of the dodo, and fast.
