gold coffin. Winner will be pulled Halloween night, and your tickets

mailed to you. And don’t worry, all you non sports fans, we’ll still

who do scary things every day, in service of others, so, during fire

prevention week, Firefighters and EMT/EMS professionals, all

August 8th Charity event

PITTSBURGH, PA

Pitcher Park and New Sun Rising are proud to announce the first annual PITCHER PARK MUSIC FESTIVAL, to be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the South Park Amphitheater in South Park, PA.

Fifteen bands will perform live, with music ranging from Emo, Rock & Roll, Irish Folk Music and everything in between. The line-up includes the following very talented bands from the Pittsburgh area: The Jay Wiley Band, The Fuzz, The Kozmonauts, Instead of Sleeping, Victims of Contagion, The Bastard Bearded Irishmen, Third From First, Bacchus, The Justin Fabus Band, Cardboard Roosevelt, The Young Bucks, Flounder and Obscured by Pink. Also we are thrilled that all the way from Virginia Beach, Adalei, will also be performing.

Among the many special events we will be featuring are: Pro Skate Team from One Up Skate Shop performing on their Red Bull Ramp and a spooky magic performance for all to enjoy by Midnight Monster Hop of Castle Blood TV Show MDIMProductions/ spookymagic.com. Also, there will be door prizes and raffle items including an autographed , framed Tony Hawk poster and a poster signed by the group Korn. Food groups will abound, featuring wings, ribs, fries, gyros, and so much more. This is an alcohol free event for the entire family to enjoy a fun day together.

ABOUT PITCHER PARK:
This benefit is in support of Pitcher Park, a skate park to be created in memory of Vincent and Stephen Pitcher who tragically drowned at Kinzua Reservoir on July 15, 2008. Their mother, Mary Pitcher and an entire community of amazing friends and supportive strangers have joined together in this grass roots effort in their honor and for the good of the youth in the community that they loved and the community who loved them both so much.

Pitcher Park has recently been nominated as one of ten finalists nationally to receive one of two $25,000.00 grants from Markham Vinyards, Nappa Valley, CA called the Markham Mark of Distinction Award This nomination stems from passiosn shown and community effort to a project that will make a diffence in a commmunity. looking for a few new monsters

Greetings Mortals,

with only 2 months remaning till open, we are looking to add a few new folks to our list of actors here at Castle Blood

Castle Blood is an all volunteer organization, and it's much different that performing at other haunts. There are also many perks that come with the positions.
cast t-shirts, and a family style dinner after each performance as well

We are especially looking for a few new scare actors,we have a few great ones now, but more scare zones than we have actors for. and if you aren't the most aggressive person in the world for scares, and would still like to join us, we always need more front of house staff. gift shop sales, ticket takers, that sort of thing. It;s a great way to get started here, and get the knack of everything, and who knows where you'll go from that.

a helping hand

Greetings to all friends of Castle Blood, and Midnight Monster Hop.

I know so many of you are pleased that we are now on television across the country. You may also have noticed that in the past 2 weeks there have been a few glitches in the national feed on Saturday night, including one week when we weren’t on at all, this was due to a technicians problem with getting the show on the servers.....

RTN was a bit lackadaisical in dealing with how upset I was about this.....

So here is what you can do.....

Castle Blood did NOT burn up

last night, the old building where castle blood was in 1996-97 burned up. we don't own it, it was not set up as a haunt inside anymore, it was just used for storage by the new owners.

The sign was still outside as a billboard telling people to go to beallsville.
We have already talked to our state and local fire officials ( remember, both I and Chris Handa are deepley involved in the states fire safety programs) and they have deemed it a building fire NOT a haunt fire.

and are going out of their way to help get the word out.
In 1996/97 we were in full compliances with all fire and other ordinances

and of course here in Beallsville, we have also been in compliance, and have been very proactive in helping the state get all it's safety programs together. In fact, the Castle Blood method, is used to teach actor and patron safety, to all other haunts in the state.

so please all my friends, do what you can to let people know that this is not a problem for the season.
I have already recieved many calls and emails from customers expressing condolences.
If we don't get a handle on this, the 2009 season could be a really rough one for us
