Ehi all! How ya been?

We're happy to announce that we're back with a new single on the truly fantastic Cloudberry Records. It's released october 1st and you can buy it through their site using PayPal. Only five bucks and it's yours, delivered and all!

The songs? On the a-side we put "A Picnic in Heaven", which is a very short but DIY-wall-of-sound-ish pop tune strongly influenced by a certain gem from The Shangri-Las' + The Dictators' "(I live for) cars & girls + a little bit of "La bamba". It's about good times for a change. The b-sides are jangle pop love songs; one comic and one tragic.

The tracks were recorded over several summer nights in Sandviken, Bergen in Anders' living room. Niko assisted the mixing and Ale mastered it at Perpetuum Mobile (GRAZIE!).

Well, to tell you the truth it's pretty old, though not as old as it sounds (1965!). The recording is new. It's another home demo from our sessions in Sand Creek, Bergen.

A lot of our songs can be downloaded from our norwegian website - "laste ned" means download, "lytt" means listen. Enjoy!

With the rain falling on Bergen as usual, we've had plenty of time to stay indoors recording summery guitar pop for y'all. New song "Tonight" will appear on an upcoming compilation put together by our California-based friends from Apple Orchard.

A very special thanks to Princess Niko fro co-producing the song with us & Anders Bjelland from Hypertext for letting us use his fabulous microphone.

Thanks to some superb PC plugins (provided by the indispensible Princess Niko - thank you!) we managed to pump up the volume a bit & add some warmth to the mixes of "Rise & Rise Again" & "Three Minute Singles".
