Hey boys and girls, it looks like winter has arrived and since 50% of the band goes to sleep at 6am and wakes up at 3 pm Steve and I should probably be able to enjoy more than two hours of day light sometimes around april. But hey I won't complain, like Billy Corgan used to sing "We only come out at night, the days are much too bright". So anyway while we are here "enjoying" this cold weather we thought that you might want to have some news about your favorite band.......So The Black eyed peas are doing well and will be performing in Mexico in december........Now here's some news about The Fadeout lol.
We are currently working on some new songs and it's a long and wonderful process. To be honnest I really don't know if you will like the new songs better than the old ones but one thing is for sure you'll all be surprised lol. Honnestly, the only thing that I really wish is that listenning to those songs will make you feel as good as I do when I sing them :).
We'll try to upload a pre production version of some of the new songs in the weeks to come if we can. It's not a promise but we will try ;).
But since we won't upload those new songs until a couple of weeks I thought that maybe you would like to listen to "To you", the last track from our latest E.P. "Songs From The Other Side". I hope that you'll all enjoy it!
Have a great week :)
Peace, love, chocolate & Robots

Hi everyone, it's been a while since the last update so let me give you some news on what happened around The Fadeout's world in the last few weeks
First and foremost, I have to inform you that our good friend Frederic Belanger is leaving the band after many years of hardwork as our drummer. Fred is a great friend and there's no hard feelings between him and the rest of the band. We just all felt that this change would be better for everyone. We all wish him the best and offer him our inconditional support for his futur projects.
On a more positive note, I'm proud to announce that our good friend, Louis-Philippe Kyer will be joining the band as our new drummer. For those of you who don't know him yet. Lou worked with the band as our engineer and co producer on our 2 EPs. He also played drums on "Songs From The Other Side E.P." and during the first leg of last summer's tour. Louis is a perfect fit for the band, he's very talented and we share the same point of view on where we want to bring the band in months to come. We're really positive and couldn't be happier to welcome him as the newest member of the band ;).
The band has also been working on new songs and we hope that you'll enjoy them as much as we do ;).
We should do a photo shoot in the weeks to come so you can all see what the new line up looks like.
The band will also attend the SMIM 2009 in Montreal (october 23-25)
We can't wait to see you guys! and make you hear our new stuff!
Peace
Steve, Phil & The Fadeout
Peace
Steve, Phil & The Fadeout

-Phil

Hey there,
There's only ten days left before our first US tour. We are really thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to play in the US and we can't wait to meet you all!
None of this would have been possible without the help of our good friend John Domantay of "Domantay Sports & Entertainment Agency" in San Francisco. John has been working day and night on this tour and he has been so helpful!
John, you're one of the greatest guy we've worked with and we'll make sure to rock this tour.
-Phil

Hi guys,
It's been a while that we posted something on this site. We were waiting until a few 'work in progress' would see the light. First off all, we just uploaded a new song. Yes, roughly a year and a half after our first demo release, we are able to bring you some of the good stuff you've been enjoying in our live shows. The song is called 'After All'. This is the first of many to come, make sure to bookmark our site, since we are in the progress of 'an extreme makover' for the band. We'd like to thanks Andre and Gilles at Sonotem, who recorded and help us through the process of bringing the band to new heights. Thanks also to Marc Girard who worked on the project as well. We'll be heading Toronto next wednesday, october 8th, to play a showcase, more info will come soon.
For all our Montreal fan's, we're also looking forward to play a few shows in the area, we are waiting for a few confirmation a this point. On a different note, we recently did a shooting, we'll be feeding you with some picture of the band shortly. That's about all i can think at the moment, Spread the good news and enyoy The Fadeout with a nice cold refreshing beer! --- Fred
