All is very exciting in Hot Puppies headquarters as we await the release of Blue Hands...... due for release 29th September 2008

Oooh, golly.... its been such a long time since we've been in touch! And there's so much to tell!
Firstly, we've quietened down on the gig front, as Bec is having a baby! And we didn't feel a hectic touring schedule was conducive to giving a baby the best start in life. She's due on Halloween, but we're hoping the baby stays put 'til All Saints' Day!
But that doesn't mean we won't be out and about though! We organised a few special acoustic shows (and made sure the doors are wide enough to get the ever-increasing Bec through!):
And, the other big news is......... Blue Hands will finally be released on 22nd September! We'll have more details nearer the time, but it will be available in all good record shops and online. Woohoo!
Bec & Beth will also be releasing their debut EP, 'Where we are from the birds sing a pretty song', on Purr records on 25th August.
AND DON'T FORGET: If you haven't got your hands on new single, 'Somewhere' you can buy it here, here or here, or from any good record shop!

Clwb Y Bont, Pontypridd
Back in October, a PLUGGED IN special gig took place which was headlined by up-and-coming indie starlets The Hot Puppies who have been tipped for greatness by Radio 1's new music tipster Huw Stephens. Imagine glamour meets indie, it's The Long Blondes meets Howling Bells and Blondie all in one package. The highlight of the set was the single 'King Of England' which captures in three minutes why this band is so highly regarded within the Cardiff scene. Catch them while they're hot people, because The Hot Puppies are on fire.

"How better to celebrate Christmas than to drape yourself in velvet and polish up your crumhorn, and pop along to the Cube Cinema in Bristol to see prog-folk legends Circulus with The Hot Puppies.
To help us bring 2007 to a close Purr are delighted to bring you a medieval madrigal masterpiece with Circulus and The Hot Puppies (or should that be Ye Hotte Puppyes) at The Cube Cinema in Bristol. A special one-off performance with the usual Purr touches - film, panthergirls, DJs and all the special touches that make Purr nights ones not to miss."
