Hey Sports Fans…

Well… It's been a long-wait since 2000, but the 'Pinstripers' finally did meet a 'series-opponent' as meritorious as The New York Mets… (whose hapless diamond-performance in that year yielded the most-recent 'series-trophy' to The Bronx-Bombers)…

But… you've got to hand it to the Yanks… The Phillies were formidable… but heck, the better team won… And The Kootz are glad they did… OK, OK… So maybe not ALL of us are Yankees-fans… But now that the "Fall Classic" is 'in the books'… we don't need to worry about any more 'sports-diversions' on Kootz-gigs until around late December… and the NFL Playoffs!

OK, kids... Let's get to the "Kootz Honor Roll", where we'll give some 'Kwick-Koot-Os' to our terrific-fans, friends and venues... as well as all the 'newbies' on the band mailing-list, for their-support in the past-week!...

In spite of the Yankees 'climb to the top', as seen on all of the HD-TVs at Smith Brothers in Ridgewood, we got a wonderfully-warm-welcome from the many-folks who came there to see US in-particular, last Thursday-evening! 'Twas great fun at the 3rd-Annual "Halloweenington in Wallington", while a 2d-Kootz "followed the beacon" to The Lighthouse Tavern in Waretown (both-shows were on Friday night)! We 'doubled-up' again on Saturday, closing-out a great-season at The Bamboo Grill in Basking Ridge, while a 2d-Kootz 'scared the living barley & hops' (kidding) out of everyone who came-out in the Halloween-rain to The Long Valley Pub and Brewery… Thanks, everyone for another great string-of-shows!!!
