Yep, dear-old 'Mom' made it known in NO uncertain-terms last weekend, 'who was the boss'… and after unleashing a small 'avalanche' on NJ, we-Kootz were silenced… err, make that 'pre-empted' as they say in the 'broadcast-biz', with our Saturday/Sunday slots on News-12 'nullified', in favor of 'up-to-the-minute' storm-coverage… In addition, we regret that our Saturday-night show at Long Branch's "Nip-n-Tuck" also 'went-down with Saturday's-Ship'… So… now that we're totally shoveled-out…. We are OVERJOYED (to use a 'seasonal'-term) "proclaiming"-that…
Our "Spotlight New Jersey" segments on News-12 have been re-scheduled for THIS Holiday-Weekend! Here's when you'll be able to see us!....
Saturday: 8:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 11:30 PM
Sunday: 6:00 AM (yikes!), 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
As we detailed last-week, these segments feature original-material, penned by members Chris Bolger, Ron Weinstein and Chris Roselle, and reflect a side of The Kootz that's a bit 'under the radar'… and not-often seen in the clubs & pubs, or at town-concerts and street-fairs. Along with these 3-Koot-composers, Glenny-T, Joey-A, Keeef, Pete Bremy and Bobby-C… performed "semi-acoustic / full-band" on the soundstage, followed by two interview-segments, with the lovely and gracious show-host, Della Crews!
'Kootz-Kudos' to the entire staff at News-12 NJ for making us feel welcome… and 'putting us back' on the grid!
Now, if your TV still utilizes 'rabbit-ears' for reception, you may just be outta-luck, because… as they say… "News-12… Only on Cable, Never on Fios, Never on Satellite". However, take-heart! The up-side is that if you miss the 'Big Broadcasts', we'll be posting the entire program on our website,
