12-7-2008 DAVE and SHAWN LEEVEE will be rocking out a NFTY event in the Chicago area. Stay tuned for more details.
 WE LOVE OUR BAND MEMBERS:
By the way, some of you know that The LeeVees started with just Adam and Dave writing some songs when their bands Guster and The Zambonis were on tour together. So that is how the LeeVees began but, if you see The LeeVees live and hear some of the new songs such as "Karpas" or "Jewish Stars" you can't not notice the fantastic other 3 members of The LeeVees They have been with us since the first live show in 2005. On drums, Michael Azerrad. We call him Mr. Rhythym, sticks and the less exciting, Mike. Michael is also a very successful music writer. We highly recommend you read his books "Our Band Could Be Your Life" and "Come As You are". On everything (bass, guitar, keys) is Shawn Fogel. Four octave range of goodness on the vocals, a huge head of jew fro and a great new band of his own called The Golden Bloom myspace.com/thegoldenbloom. Lastly, our pal Shankbone Mystic/Dan Saks. He plays everything too. Sadly, he has only a 3 1/2 octave range. Shank is the man with a plan and has an amzing new band called DELEON out now on J-DUB RECORDS www.myspace.com/ilovedeleon. Well, we really hope to see you out there somewhere. Expect a new cd from us next year.
 Have a great day/holiday season,
Dave and Adam LeeVee

Hey all,
we are happy to announce that J Vibe magazine has nominated our song "How Do You spell Chanukkkah" for the funniest jewish song of the year. Competition is tough (sir Adam Sandler) so, we sure could use your vote.

"A spanish friend told me, that it starts with a silent J, but Julio was wrong" ok, we wrote it but, that sh*ts funny.

Hey LeeVites,

The air is getting cooler and the sun is setting earlier as we enter the cold, lonely months of winter. But don't fear--we're also approaching The LeeVees season! Like big fuzzy bears coming out of hibernation, we LeeVees are gearing up to bring you a short and sweet tour of Channukkahh rock.

We begin in CT, head out to the Midwest and eventually end it all including a super special performance at Symphony Hall with THE BOSTON POPS! We have some new non chhhannukkkah songs like "Karpas" and "Hebrew School Drop Out" that you will hopefully hear when you come to see us live. As always, our cds are still available at www.theleevees.com and are up on itunes--the perfect Hanukah gift! We have some new stickers up on the site that are priced nicely -- especially the congregation discount (25 stickers for $6).

Happy Channukkahh from The LeeVees!

Hello Leevites,

Dave and Adam LeeVee here. Great stuff going on in LeeVee world. First we would like your attention. OK, that's better. We went shopping yesterday and all we heard at Borders, Target etc etc were songs from the other team. We have nothing against those happy sappy Xmas tunes but the Adam Sandler song is not enough to represent we jews. Tell your friends, moms, dads, brothers and sisters! Yell it in your Gramma Bubbie's good ear! Alert the bloggers! The LeeVees cd "Hanukkah Rocks" is the perfect Hannukah gift and is also your answer to not just hearing the same old songs during the holiday season.
That's it for our rant. Here is whats happening.

+ We have a new iTunes exclusive ep out now featuring a BRAND NEW SONG titled "Jewish Stars", 2 rare acoustic perfomances and
the now classic "How Do You Spell Channukkah?"

+ New original ringtone and ringback tones from yours truly, including 30-second-jems such as "I Want An iPod (By the Way, Happy Hanukkah)" and
"Little Jewish Friend."

+ ITS FREE !!! Send Your whacky friends and family our whacky LeeVees X-treme Hanukkah Ecard! Did you hear us, ITS FREE !!

+ Keep an eye out for The LeeVees "Kosher Food Shooting Gallery" video game where you get to sling Matzo Balls at non-Kosher

Hey team LeeVee,

Shana Tova to all of our jewish friends and to our non jewish friends, we're sorry if you had to work on Monday. The high holidays are over and that can only mean two things: plenty of leftover brisket and Chanukah is right around the corner. Ahhhhh, Chanukah. 7 kinda lame gifts, 1 great gift and the best gift of all, THE LEEVEES! We are back with some great new stuff that will be happening very soon:

+ A new iTunes exclusive EP featuring a brand new song titled "Jewish Stars," 2 rare acoustic recordings, and the classic "How Do You Spell Chanukah."

+ Hanukkah Ring Tones!! Two completely whacky original songs written specifically to annoy your friends, as well as a new twist on ye olde classic, "Dreidel dreidel dreidel."

+ A bunch of holiday tour dates that will be hitting the website soon (Maimi, Bridgeport,CT, NYC, Boston, Los Angeles and more)

+ The Kosher Food Shooting Gallery Video Game-- Shoot matzo balls at lobsters and cheeseburgers but avoid the Kosher foods, or you'll lose points!

+ A new Holiday E-card - our new friends at Babaganewz.com and the LeeVees are joining forces to make a fun new ecard.

So tell your friends and neighbours to be on the lookout for the coolest band since sliced rye bread...
