I live in Oakland. I have for almost two years. I thought that I let everyone know, but in response to recent questions I just thought that I should clear this up. I still work in Modesto, but I no longer live there.

Last week Alison visited a turkey farm in Santa Rosa, Calif., and put together a soundslide as a mini feature in anticipation of Thanksgiving. This was also the first soundslide/multimedia piece created for AP by a freelancer.

My favorite indie band, Scissors For Lefty, plays the Off the Air stage at the Modesto Art And Wine Festival in Downtown Modesto, Calif., Saturday, August 19, 2007.

Alison and I moved to Oakland. I am attending City College of San Francisco for just one more mester and then on to SFSU, I hope. I am still working at the Modesto Bee, but only on the weekends. I am also still freelancing as an digital imager and retoucher if you know about any work, not so subtle hint. Alison is Freelancing photojournalist style for news papers and weddings.

Alison and I love our new place and are happy to be in the same place.

If you want to hangout let us know. And if you are living in the Bay area and we are friends you don't have to call, but you will feel guilty if you don't.

Everyday more people are getting their news from sites on the Internet. Struggling to maintain a viable product in the changing market, newspapers are transitioning to multimedia. This is a short piece I produced about a newspaper in Santa Rosa, The Press Democrat. The Modesto Bee, where I work, is going through the very same changes.
