still experimenting with the watercolours on new sketch book. decided to make a story of it. starting from last post obviously. update as often as i can as it will have to end within next two weeks or so.

anyone have any hints on scanning watercolour?
it's terrible here.

man i seem to be feature childhood stuff in a lot of my blogs. a work friend jokingly (??) said i had Peter Pan syndrome yesterday. well i say:
 -"i know you are! you said you are! but what am i?" to her.
todays pic was done in my new sketch book that i will be taking w/ me on my travels. don't you love starting new books. all the possibilities for it. all the care you take w/ it at the beginning. this is the first page after title page. title of book = 'this is the best party ever!'
the title i got from a little girl i overheard on sunday. i was walking home when i passed by this young family (father and three kids all under seven) playing on a trampoline on their front yard when the girl exclaimed that phrase w/ pure joy. i just thought "fuckin' A!"... watercolour doesn't scan to well though... and paper isn't really suited to it but so it goes. book does have some cool off-colour pages through out it though which i will be able to use white pen/cil in.
i like sparrows (how is that for a tangent in topic). they are adaptable, agile and fuckin' cool in general. i know. i know. most people would pick something like an eagle or hawk or some other exotic or 'tough' bird or a 'cute' bird suck as hummingbirds, cockatoo or penguins (actually not many people would probably pick penguins if you just go 'so, what is your favourite bird?') but you get the idea.

received the coolest present in the mail today from a friend, Celine. just a cd and a picture puzzle w/ a message. but it was the bomb! put a smile on my face anyways. sooo...
