Our Creator Wants Us Healthy

 

Disease as we know it today is not what YHWH (God) wanted us to experience. There are many examples in His Torah (the first five books of every bible) that reveal if we follow His complete guide (the bible from Genesis to Revelation) we should not suffer. However, if we disobey, reject His word or just pick and choose what we want and ignore the rest, we will suffer.

 

It is the original plan of YHHW that we live disease-free, and His plan has not changed for us today. It's true, because of Adam and Eve's disobedience to YHWH, we are punished for their iniquities. This punishment includes pain and suffering in some areas of our lives, (Genesis 3:16, Genesis 3:17) but we were never supposed to suffer with the type of diseases experienced today. 

 

The Scriptures warn us not to reject His word or evil shall come upon us. If we listen and obey His guide the best we can, the prescribed punishment would still cause us certain pain and suffering (such as childbearing, struggling to make a living) but we would be free from the self-inflicted diseases of the world today that so many people suffer from. We were made wonderfully in the image of YHWH.

 

Of course not every righteous person will be free from sickness. There are a few examples in The Scriptures of some people who suffered for no other reason but to glorify the amazing healing powers of YHWH and His son Yeshua. However, too many people use that as an excuse, foolishly thinking that they are one of those cases. YHWH says many are called and few are chosen. I doubt everyone today with a disease is one of those special chosen. It's more obvious that our disobedient lifestyles are creating the disease.

 

YHWH doesn't want us to suffer.

We are made in YHWH's image and it is good!

 

"Disease and sickness" are opposite of "marvelous and good". Adam and Eve had a simple command to follow and couldn't do it and paid a big price for it. We have a simpler task from YHWH thanks to Yeshua dying for our sins, but too often people use that grace as an excuse to continue to live a life in sin. They take no time to study and live according to the guide YHWH gave us and the example Yeshua showed us.  

 

During the times of Abraham, in Genesis 18:32, YHWH said He would spare the righteous, no matter how many people were un-righteous, as long as there were 10 righteous. YHWH wants to see His word being studied and obeyed. This is the reason he gave us The Scriptures, not to just open a book in an assembly once a week. He wants us to keep our promise and enjoy His promise to us.

 

How many righteous are out there today? Most people, even so-called believers have no idea have far they have gotten away from living according to the way YHWH wants them to. There is no knowledge of YHWH. People today, even self-professed believers are living a life with more pagan customs and man-made traditions than YHWH's instructions and then wonder why they are sick.  

 

Disease is so common today that people except it and consider it normal. It is not even odd any more. Viruses have gotten way out of control according to YHWH's plan but only because we let it. If you accept the unnatural long enough it starts to appear natural. But it is not natural, that's just the appearance. That is what has happened with viruses and diseases that we suffer from today. Sadly, instead of assemblies (churches) getting back to the health instructions YHWH gave us in His word, they are misleading us to justify it is okay to live an unhealthy life. Many of them don't even teach the subject at all. When is the last time you heard a message about diet according to YHWH? That's why I have my ministry to help you.

 

There are some that will think they know someone who lives an unrighteous life and are not sick so this article can not be true. YHWH loves us and has patience. Not every one is going to get what they deserve right away. In fact because of YHWH's love for us, most people who are living a life against YHWH's instructions have not experienced illness because YHWH has not yet allowed the sickness they deserved to come upon them yet. But don't be deceived, this is because He loves us and wants to give us time to get our ways in order. It is not meant for us to have a free pass to continue living in sin. His judgment is swift and it is just a matter of time before you will pay the price for living a disobedient life if you don't change your ways. . 

 

No matter how sick someone is, you can turn your health around if you get back to the message of The Scriptures. It is a law of YHWH that we possess the power built within us to overcome all germs and diseases. In Genesis 1:28 our Creator blessed humanity to be fruitful, to multiply and replenish the earth. Genesis 1:28 also says we are to subdue and have dominion over every living thing. That includes cancer, bacteria, viruses, parasites and other microorganisms that cause illness and disease. The answer is not found in medicine or running to your doctor. No matter how far you may have drafted from YHWH's guide, and for what ever reason, you have the answer to getting well. Realize, follow and believe!

The Social Aspects of Eating a Raw Food Diet.
I have been eating a raw food diet for more than 12 years now, and teaching about making the transition to a raw food diet for about 7 years now. As I travel across the world, one of the questions I get most often is: "How does someone consume a raw food diet, while not being considered an outcast by society?" I thought when I first started eating this way many years ago, that this was going to be an issue for me as well. But to my pleasant surprise, I have found it to be very easy.

Like any change, at first it can be a challenge, especially when most of the world doesn't understand the reason for the change or anything about it. The raw diet is different than any other way of eating. It is becoming the new "in thing" so it is not as challenging to be accepted by many people today as it was just a few years ago. However, when ever anyone makes a change in their daily diet, not only is it weird or different to the person making the change, but the response from friends and family can be difficult to deal with. In this article I want to give suggestions on how to be accepted by your friends, family and the world after making the decision to start eating a raw food diet.

It is good to know that years ago, consuming a vegetarian diet was considered weird or different. But today it is pretty much accepted all over the world. Today, the raw food diet is becoming accepted and there are more and more raw food, vegetarian restaurants opening all over the world, many in the United States.
First, if you plan to consume anything less than a 100% raw food diet (which is fine), you won't run into the challenges as someone who wants to go 100% raw. You can just simply have cooked food on those occasions when you can't get raw. If doing so, do your best to make sure the food is as healthy as possible.

Now, if you plan to go 100% raw, not to worry. Just like making the change from an animal eater to a vegetarian or vegan, how we handle the situation can make all the difference.

If someone tells you that you are sick, you might say to them, "How do you know how I feel?" But if 100 people come to you in one day and tell you that you are sick, you might start to think, am I? When first starting to eat a raw food diet, many people are going to tell you things like, "You are crazy; That's dangerous; You need cooked food, or You can't do that." The more you hear it, the more you might believe it.

As long as you thought through the reason and purpose for going on an all raw diet, you should not be bothered too much by what others say. But if you are in doubt before they say anything, their words might take you over the edge.

Rule #1
Don't go beyond your understanding. Do the research before changing your diet so when you get these comments, you will know you are doing the right thing.

Rule #2
Make the choice yourself and not because someone else talked you into it. As long as it is your choice to change, that will help keep you strong. But if you try to change for someone else, it will make it harder to stick with it when the pressure is on.

Even if you have the knowledge and you made the choice yourself, their words still might make you second guess your choice to go on an all raw diet. We are human and we have feelings and emotions. It's like if you get a new haircut and think it looks great. You could be pretty confident in that feeling. But the more people tell you, your hair looked better before you cut it, or something like that. you will start to think, maybe you made a mistake. It goes the same way with the raw food diet.

The most important rule we have to learn is we cannot let our feelings override our decision. I call this decision over emotion. It is hard to be consistent if we are living off of "how we feel." Just a few days on a raw diet, many of us will feel the need for cooked food. Also many of us will base our feelings on what other people tell us. This is why once we make a decision, we should learn to stick to it. Make a promise to yourself that your faith is so strong in what you are doing that you are going to stick with it, and no one is going to talk you out of it.

Once you feel confident in what you are doing, how do you deal with friends, family and others who think you have went off the wall.

*Do not get over zealous. It's easy to believe so strong in the message that you just want to push it on everyone else. You and I most likely know, that the raw food diet is the healthiest way to eat our food, but it took us a while to learn this, and it might take other people a while. Accept all people where they are.

*Live by example. Let people see how great you feel and look. And how much energy you have. Then they will start to ask questions. That will open the door for you to give them the answers.

*Pray for them. I can tell you first hand, you cannot change anyone, but by prayer, you can help everyone. The strongest thing you can do for the people you love is not create separation in your differences, but pray that they will come to see and understand the message about the healing foods and why the sooner they start eating a raw diet, the better their health will be. There is a great saying I once heard that says, "Do your best and leave the rest up to God." Well I can change that a little and say, "Pray for them, and leave the rest up to God."

*How do you eat when you travel? This is a question I get most often. I have never had an issue with these because I can get fruits and vegetables everywhere.
The most amazing advice you will ever get on how to socially fit into society on a raw food diet. Three magic words, will make this path so much easier for you. No matter who it is, or where you are, these three words will work for you. Do not tell people you are eating a raw diet because….. Most people do not care about health or understand it, and they will think you are crazy. Here are the three magic words: "My doctor said…" If you tell them that, then they can accept it with no problem. (You really don't have to try to find a doctor to say that. Most doctor's will never say a raw diet is best, but just saying that will help them accept you.

Understand, most people do not eat for health. They eat for taste. If you are making food for your family, don't put the food on the table and give them a health lesson. Just make the food taste great, and they will enjoy it, and you will enjoy most people accepting the way you eat.

If anyone tells you how to eat, just tell them nicely, "If you do not want me to tell you how to eat, please don't judge my eating habits." That should keep them quiet. If not, just shove a carrot in their mouth.

I am happy to inform you, after almost 10 years with a cell phone and an addiction that was getting out of control, yesterday I finally got rid of mine.

Cell phone dangers and excuses to live with them
For years I have herd about stories and issues dealing with the "bad" effect of using a cell phone. I always made excuses because I became so addicted to the simplicity of living with one. Some people might call it lazy, but I figured it made my life easier so why not. But the more stories I heard about people getting brain tumors and other diseases, the more I would consider getting rid of it, or at least using it less often. I bought all the gadgets to cut down on the harmful effects but who was I kidding, even cutting down, is not going to cut out the dangers that were still there. And also even though I had these gadgets I didn't always use them because the person on the other end couldn't hear me as well or some other reason.

Finally when someone recently told me about a study that was done with two cells phones and an egg, enough was enough. They placed an egg between two cell phones for half an hour. Just 30 minutes and the egg became hard boiled. Wow. Now I haven't tried this myself but I have no reason to believe this is not true. Either way it doesn't matter. That was the last straw, Yesterday, I cut off my cell phone service.

Most people today can't even imagine leaving their home without their cell phone. More and more information is coming out about how bad they are for our health but people continue to come up with excuses why they need it. The one I hear most is "I can't live with out my cell phone" Yes you can!

Why do you think you can't? The Cell phone made its debut in 1984. Before 1984 I'm sure you lived fine without one. Sure it makes our lives more convenient but at what cost?

In just twenty years the amount of people using cells phones has went form 92,000 in 1984 to over 171 million Americans alone. Around the world about 1.5 billion cell phones are constantly sending their invisible frequencies through the airwaves.

Now over twenty years after the introduction of cell phones has scientific research become sophisticated enough to find the dangerous effects of microwave radiation from cell phones and other EMF-emitting devices. Irrefutable evidence now confirms that microwave radiation emitted by cell phones has the potential to heat up human tissue in the area of the head that the phone is pressed against.

This thermal (heating) effect may cause headaches, fatigue, tissue swelling, memory impairment, learning difficulties, insomnia, and tingling, plus many other long-term damages. Research now concurs that EMFs interfere with cellular DNA and tits repair mechanisms. In addition, cell phone radiation makes cancerous cells grow aggressively.

One study revealed that cell phone users were two and a half times more likely to have a temporal brain tumor on the side of the head where they held their phone. And it's not just the brain that is in danger. Most cell phone users carry their phone on their belt or in their pocket. This can cause a bunch of other problems. Anytime the phone is close to any part of the body, that area of the body is at greater risk of the harmful affects.

What about gadgets that say they cut down on the radiation that comes from the cell phone?
They sound good but I'm not 100% sure they work. Why take the chance. To me it's not worth it.
 
What about a head phones or ear pieces?
It will cut down on the radiation to your head since the phone is not next to your head but most people still hold the phone close to some other part of their body.
 
What about time for yourself!
Most people who use a cell phone don't realize, other than the risk it creates from a radiation standpoint, there are other emotional dangers as well. Remember when you had time to yourself to relax. That just isn't the case anymore. When people can get in touch with you 24 hours a day 7 days a week, when do we find time for ourselves. Some people say they just shut off their phone when they don't want calls but, it's not as easy as it sounds. I know many people who only use their phone at night time and the weekends when the rates are lower or free. The phone controls our lives to a degree. Don't be like me, making many excesses over the years to justify having this deadly device in my life.
 
What about emergencies?
Let's be honest with ourselves. In all the years you had a cell phone, was there ever an emergency where you truly needed one? Gossiping about some news you heard is not an emergency. I must admit in the 10 years I had a cell phone there were two times it really did help out. I am very aware there might come a time in the future where it would come in very handy during an emergency. Here is the answer, just get a cell phone for true emergencies only. Some companies have phones now that you pay for only the minutes you use and they carry over to the next month. Get a plan where you can get 100 minutes that carry over and keep the phone somewhere in your car or somewhere else. But never turn it on unless you must.

What you can do?
My last effort to get rid of my phone, I just used it for a voice mail and called into it each day but I couldn't justify spending so much money each month on just a voice mail. Well, I tried an internet based phone service called skype, they are great for free outgoing calls and you can get an incoming number for a small fee. My only issue was I couldn't call from an outside line to get my messages. Only when I was at a computer could I check my messages. Than I thought about must using my home phone voice mail or answering machine where I can just call my line at home and get my messages. But that was a lot of money for many services I don't need. I haven't figured it out yet, but one of my friends told me there is a way to use my phone unlimited even when I am traveling for free. There are so many benefits to this and you do not get the deadly cell phone radiation. Why not give it a try; you have nothing to lose and your health to gain.

Q:  What is your background?  How did you find-out about the health benefits of raw foods and what caused you to make the switch?

 

I have a background in business.  I went to college for business and worked in Wall Street in New York City, where I grew up. When I was 20 years old, I ended up getting stomach pains, went to the hospital and got diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (also known as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease).  The doctors had no cure and said I'd have to be on medication for the rest of my life.

 

I ended up moving to West Palm Beach Florida to get away from the stress of New York City.  When I moved there, I ended up moving right next door to a place called, "Hippocrates Health Institute" without even knowing what it was. 

 

The Hippocrates Health Institute is an institute created by Ann Wigmoore. It started in Boston and moved down to West Palm Beach and it's where they teach people how to overcome all disease with a raw food diet and lifestyle. 

 

So, I immediately started doing their program… and immediately got better. 

 

From there, I just wanted to teach other people about this. So, I wrote some books and travel the world teaching people about the benefits of eating a raw food diet.

 

Q:  What are some of the health benefits of eating raw?

 

The biggest health benefit from a physical standpoint is the amount of energy a person has.  Not stimulation, but consistent flow of energy.  Because the enzymes help the body avoid using more energy than it has to, to digest food. 

 

From a mental stand point, the sharpness of the mind so people can remember things longer and multi-task easier.  There's many mental advantages to eating a raw food diet.

 

Spiritually, the less toxic a person eats, the more clearer his communication is going to be.  So, somebody eating a high quality is going to be able to communicate clearer than somebody who eats a low quality diet.

 

Raw foods are the highest quality foods for our body.  So, spiritually, the greatest way to connect with our creator would happen when our body is the cleanest… and that's going to happen when were eating a high quality diet of raw foods. 


Q:  What is the benefit that you enjoy the most?

 

To be honest, all the benefits mentioned above.  The great energy, sharpness of the mind, and spiritual communication with our creator.

 

That's what I appreciate the most.  I travel ten months out of the year – I am on the road giving lectures.  And there's no way I'd be able to do this without such a high quality diet. 

 

Now, I am able to do it with ease.  So, that's the biggest benefit.

 

It just helps me get the word out and helps more people learn about it.  Then, the people I teach help create a system of support that I have when I go places – and it just goes round and round with everyone helping each other.

 

 Q:  What portion of the diet do you recommend should be raw to start seeing some of these benefits?

 

The key part is that people increase their raw food intake.  You don't have to start out at 100% raw, but you can work up to the most you can do.

 

However, if you're sick, then you should be doing 100%.  But, if you're healthy, then you may do 70-80%.  It really depends on the person and what he or she feels is possible.

 

I know people who eat only 70% raw, but the cooked foods they do eat are not too bad.

 

Q:  Who can benefit the most from a raw food diet?

 

The people who are sick are going to benefit most because they're going to get better. 

The people who aren't sick are going to avoid getting sick. Everyone is going to benefit from it, but the people who need it the most are those who are already sick. 

 

The people who aren't doing it or sick yet, are just headed to that because sickness and disease are created by all the things that cooked food creates in the body.  After a while, the wear and tear cooked food puts on the body is going to cause energy drain and discomfort somewhere in the body.

 

The result is disease one way or another.  So, everybody is going to benefit from it, but those who are sick are going to benefit the most. 

 

Q:  Did you personally rid yourself of a health problem or have an inspiring story of somebody you know that comes to mind?

 

I personally rid myself of inflammatory bowel disease (also known as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease).

 

And I know over a thousand people, at least, who've healed their conditions (or at a minimum improved their condition) by switching to a high-quality diet of raw foods and vegetables.

 

Q:  A common question many people have when they first hear about raw foods is how do you get enough protein and calcium?  How do you respond to this question?

 

Usually, it's just a lack of knowledge that people have.  Calcium is found in more foods and is more absorbable in raw foods than any other food source on the planet. 

 

Great sources are sesame seeds and green leafy vegetables, such as kale.  There's more calcium in a cup of sesame seeds than a gallon of milk.  So, that's like me asking somebody who drinks milk, where do you get your calcium from?

 

There's just a lack of knowledge.  Since most milk is processed and cooked today, people are not able to absorb the calcium from it anyway.  It just forms a mucus in their bodies.

Whereas, on a raw food diet, getting tremendous amounts calcium is just not a problem at all.

 

As for protein, it comes from amino acids.  The non-essential and essential can be found in raw foods, vegetables, nuts and seeds.

 

I've been interviewing people who've been eating this way for years… some of them for almost 50 years.

 

I've met some people who have run into other deficiencies because they're not eating the best way in terms of the foods they can be eating.  But when it comes to protein, I've never met anybody who has a deficiency in protein. 


Q:  Why do people sometimes have difficulty sticking to a raw food diet when they first start?

 

The biggest problem is the mental factor.  It's a change from the norm and many people aren't used to change. 


Switching to a raw food diet is the most extreme change.  It's taking something you've done your whole life, eating cooked food, and saying you're not going to eat it anymore.

 

It's one of the reasons I tell people you don't have to go on a 100% raw food diet.  You can do 80%, even 70% to experience some of the benefits. The major key is if you eat more good than bad, then you're going to experience more good than bad.

 

If you're eating more bad than good, then you're going to experience more bad than good.

 

However, if you're eating 50% good and 50%, then one minus one equals zero.  So, you have to eat more good stuff than bad stuff.

 

This is why I recommend you eat 70-80% of raw foods in your diet.  It makes it much easier for them.

 

Another big factor people run into with this are the mental aspects of it.  There are so many people in the world that have such a lack of knowledge about how powerful and healthy raw foods are, they just bombard people with false information to say it's not healthy.

 

And, after a while, if people hear something enough times, then unfortunately they start believing it.

 

Q:  Many people maybe interested in a raw food diet, but think they can't give up chocolate, cheese, or other "Cravings" food.  Is there something people can do to overcome their cravings?

 

Basically, any addiction will take 3 weeks to 3 months to get over, depending on what the addiction is. 

 

So, my best answer is patience.  People can't just give up after a few days of doing it, if they think it's not working for them.

 

They have to understand how to do it correctly and over time, the body will start adjusting.  And, instead, of craving those junk foods, you will start craving healthy foods.

 

Whereas, where you're eating a junk food diet, like supports like.  Your body's just going to crave more junk food.

 

Q:  How do you advise people to make the switch to raw foods or just eating more of it?

 

It has to be an individual thing because no two people are in the same place.  Some people might be in an environment where there are a lot of raw food restaurants or they're living down in the tropics where there's an abundance of fruits and vegetables. 

 

For them, if there not sick already, then they can take their time with it and enjoy it.  However, if somebody's living in an environment where they don't have an abundance of raw foods available in a great variety… or if they're already sick, they have to handle it different than the average person who is not sick.

 

So, it depends on where a person is physically and their location in the world.  This means there is no one answer for everybody, but if people just increase the amount of high-quality food each day, more and more, then they'll improve.

 

If somebody eats three hamburgers and cuts down to two, then that's a step in the right direction. 

Q:  What are some of your favorite raw foods or recipes?  Do you have any favorite recipes that you make frequently?

 

Most of foods I eat are blended or juiced.  I like to do liquids.  My favorite is blended salads, which consists of tomato, avocado, cucumber, celery, fennel, and leafy greens, such as spinach or kale.  Then, I just blend this up for my favorite meal.

 

Now, the average person might take a while for them to get used to such a simple meal.

As a raw food chef, I can make raw food lasagna and it taste great as well.

 

But, I am not into the raw pizza pies or raw candies as much as I used to.  However, when I started, I really was.

 

So, it depends on where a person is at.

 

Q:  Are there any foods you wouldn't eat raw?

 

Definitely, there are a lot of things in the raw food movement that are known to be good for our bodies and there are a lot of things that are up for question.  Basically, I don't eat for stimulation, but I eat for health.  I eat to support my body for the nutrients it needs. 

 

And there are many foods out there that can give me the nutrition I need without the stimulation.  However, there are a lot of foods out there in the raw food movement that are being promoted as "Super foods" that give the body the nutrients it needs, but there are a whole bunch of stimulation and other toxic effects of the foods as well. 

 

One example is raw chocolate (also known as cacao).

 

Additionally, I mostly try to stick to produce grown here in the United States.   However, I do like to try exotic fruits form other countries.  If I can get locally grown produce, then I'll enjoy that.  But, for the most part, every single nutrient we need can be found in abundance if we just go to the farmers market and search out good high-quality sources. 

 

All the nutrients we need can be found in this country.  So, I am not too fond of getting berries or foods from all the way around the world if I am not sure where they're from or what's in them and then promoting them as something we need.  Maybe we can enjoy them, but we certainly don't need them.

So, it's a good idea to eat as local as possible. 

 

Q: What do you think are some of the most potent or delicious raw "Healing Foods" and why are they good for you?

 

The most healing raw food would be wheat grass or the high chlorophyll rich food E3 Live, which is a liquid algae. 

 

The reason they're so healing is that they have chlorophyll.  And this is important because most people suffer from a lack of oxygen in the body, due to the overeating and other toxic things they're doing with the diet.

 

And the way these negative things affect the body is that it's going to take oxygen out of the system.  And cancer and all disease can only thrive in a non-oxygenated environment.

 

What chlorophyll is, is it's almost identical to fully oxidized human blood.   So, what you're doing, is adding the oxygen back into the system and it adds a tremendous amount of nutrients, vitamins and minerals along with it.

 

The chlorophyll then helps the body clean up and reverse serious stages of disease.  

 

And this isn't new information.  Ann Wigmoore has been doing this since the 50's and 60's at the Hypocrites Health Institute in West Palm Beach Florida.  Also, there are other health clinics all around the world eating this way to cure illnesses.

 

Other great healing foods include sprouts, sunflower sprouts, and similar foods.  Also, sea vegetables, such as seaweed are very healing.  They are certainly not the tastiest, but you can get into raw food cookies, cakes and candies, like dates and hybridized fruit.  They taste excellent, but aren't the most healing. 

 

So, I'd say the non-sweet fruits (keep in mind, anything with seeds is a fruit), such as zucchini, tomato, red pepper, these are the non-sugary foods the body can thrive on along with the chlorophyll rich green foods.

 

And those are the two things that I base the majority of my diet on.


Q:  How do you recommend that people deal with the social aspects of being on a raw food diet?  This includes criticism they might receive from others and being able to go out to eat with less health conscious friends.

 

I've been eating this way for 15 years and I've never been in an environment where I wasn't able to eat… and if I was, then I'd just fast. 

 

But, somebody shouldn't be parading around telling people to eat raw foods because the average person will think they're crazy.  However, if you tell people and they understand, great.   But, for the other people, just tell them you don't feel good or feel like eating.

 

They'll understand.  But, we don't judge other people and so other shouldn't judge those who eat raw food either.  It works both ways.  We have to be judgment free. 


Q:  How do you answer people when they worry about the expense of buying raw, organic, or healthier foods?

 

First, it might be too expensive because the person isn't aware of what to do, where to get it, and how much to get.  Also, at first, the person is going to eat a lot more than they really need just because they're used to being full (or, really, overfull) all the time.

 

The longer you do this, the more you understand these things.  It's really the cheapest way to eat… because, for one thing, you won't have doctor's bills later on in life.  Even right now, the nutrition that's in one organic apple or one organic orange, you'd have eat at least 10 inorganic apples or oranges to come close to the same amount of nutrition.

 

So, since organic foods are so highly nutritious, you need to eat less for everything you need.  This means that in the long run, it's by far the cheapest way to eat.

 

Q:  You mentioned you travel a lot.  How do you stick to your diet on the road?

 

One of the most popular questions I get in my lectures I eat is how do I eat when I travel.  That's like me going to somebody who eats McDonalds and asking him how he eats when he travels.  McDonalds is everywhere.

 

Well, so is raw foods and vegetables.  You can find them in just about every place you go in this world.  Additionally, most major cities have health food stores, where you can easily get organic raw foods and vegetables. 

 

I've never come close to having a problem with food on this diet with traveling… and I travel over 300 hundred days a year. 

 

Q:  What do you think is the cause and cure of all disease?

 

The cause and cure of all diseases is very simple: overeating and under-sleeping.

 

We need to avoid those things and people's diseases will start reversing.  Too many people are overeating and under-sleeping and we're running into problems. 

 

In my new book that I am working on "A Formula for Health," I address this topic and how to overcome it.  We have to realize it's more than food alone. Mentally, emotionally, spiritually, we have to give ourselves the highest quality nutrition and information if we want to be as healthy as we can possibly be.

I have been involved with the raw food movement for more than 12 years, and I have watched this movement grow. The more people get sick, the more people want to find a way to get better. After traveling the world, teaching the importance of
raw foods, I have discovered that most people do not care about diet or nutrition.

There are three main reasons why people are interested in improving their health:
1-If they have a disease, how do they cure it.
2-If they do not have a disease, how do they avoid getting one
3-How do they stay looking young.

If people can be convinced that their diet and nutrition have something to do with accomplishing these goals, then they will start to show an interest in diet as a cure. Unfortunately, most people have been convinced that they can accomplish these goals without improving their diet. How do I know this?

Because even though everyone wants to accomplish these three goals, if you look at the amount of people who continue to eat in fast food places and eat a low-quality diet, it's obvious that they have been convinced that diet is not important.

I know without a doubt that diet has everything to do with our health, and the quality of our food will determine the quality of our health. There is so much information today about nutrition, healthy eating and diet. It can become very confusing to people who are just beginning this journey.

Raw is the most healthful way we can eat our foods; also known as live foods and uncooked foods. When we eat raw foods, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, all the nutrients and enzymes are still present and in tact. If we cook, these important nutrients would be largely destroyed by high temperatures. Eating the cooked food would cause our bodies to work much harder in digestion. The Benefits of Raw Foods

 

And our creator YHWH said, I have given you the seed-bearing plants throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food.  Genesis 1:29

 

My interpretation: Eat fresh, ripe, organic raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. These foods and these foods alone were meant as fuel and nutrition for our bodies. In addition to fresh air, sunlight and water, theyre all the body needs to thrive. Interfere with this process, and the body will go into survival mode. In this article, I will not focus on the survival mode eating cooked foods entails. Instead, Ill focus on the benefits that accrue to us when eating the foods we were told to eat by our Creator.

 

Weve all heard about calories, protein, and fat. When we eat the way fathr YHWH instructed, we  wouldnt care about any of them.  If counting calories, burning fat, and eating high protein foods were so important, why are Americans engaging in these practices the most overweight, disease-ridden people in the world?  Listening to YHWH, and getting back to our true body design will keep us healthy.

 

The way to do this is with raw foods. What are the benefits of a raw food diet?

 

Major benefits are preserving energy and keeping your vitality level as high as possible. Overcoming major and minor diseases are common benefits, and feeling like Superman/ Superwoman is often mentioned.

 

Healing with raw foods: If you feel sick, weak, lazy, tired, or have a disease, eating raw foods can help you begin to overcome all that. What caused these poor bodily conditions is having supplied the body with low quality food. That produced low quality blood, or poor quality blood leading to the problems mentioned above. Eating the highest quality food will keep your blood clean and reinstate your health. All these negative bodily actions are caused by a lack of oxygen, a result of eating food that allowed the body very little oxygen. In other words, you are suffocating yourself to death when you eat foods lacking in oxygen. Raw foods contain an abundance of oxygen in mineral form. They are loaded with air for your suffocating body. 

 

Thriving on raw foods: Your body takes much time and energy to digest non-raw foods. If you overwork a machine, it will get old fast and breakdown. A raw food diet is enzyme rich which preserves the bodys energy. The more enzymes in the food, the less the body has to work to digest the food. The enzymes go right to work to assist the body in doing the job. What to do with all this energy? Thrive! Thats what well do on a raw food diet.

 

Other amazing benefits of a raw food diet:

 

Cost efficiency:  People often tell me it costs too much to eat healthfully, or it costs too much to eat a raw foods. I used to think so too at one point in my life, but now I just laugh at that since I found raw foods are the least expensive you could ever buy.  They can even cost nothing and often do. What costs more, a banana or a candy bar? An apple, or a slice of apple pie? Raw fruits and vegetables are the least expensive foods. Then, there are wild foods which can be found all over, and all wild foods are free to enjoy. Theyre the highest quality foods, the least expensive, and theyre 100% raw.

 

Real fast food:  Does it take longer to eat a banana, or a banana split? An orange, or a hamburger. When it comes to fast food, McDonalds and Burger King cant hold a candle to fruits and vegetables. 

 

The biggest selection of foods to choose from:  Did you know you could eat one new variety of fruit every day for the rest of your life and still not come close to eating all the varieties in the world? Most people in this country limit fruits to apples, bananas and oranges, but there are tons of other fruits sold in markets all over. Exotic fruits are everywhere these days. Enjoy a nice chocolate pudding fruit, or some jack fruit. Or how about a durian? Are you thinking you dont know about these fruits? Did you know that there are over 50 kinds of bananas, 50 kinds of apples out there? Try them all; then youll realize theres so much to choose from.

 

Enhancing mind power:  Its a known fact among raw fooders, eating raw foods helped them develop mental powers they never knew they had. Its a scientific fact: more oxygen to the brain will help improve mental capabilities, and we already spoke about how eating raw foods brings more oxygen into the body. Many people had some form of depression until they ate more raw foods; then, their depression lifted or subsided.  

 

Connecting with YHWH:  This is the major benefit of a raw food diet. The more you eat foods YHWH told you to eat, the better relationship youll have with Him. Its simple. If your parents told you to do something when you were a little kid and you did it, you pleased them and had a good relationship. But if you said no to them, they wouldnt be happy with you. The more you listened to them, the better they could guide your learning about life. YHWH works the same way. Listen to YHWH and you will have a great relationship with Him. And YHWH said, I have given you the seed-bearing plants throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food.  Genesis 1:29                                          

 

The more raw foods you eat, the more youll experience all these wonderful benefits and so many more. Youll also start to enjoy a personal relationship with YHWH that will enhance your whole life. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Give it a go and eat raw foods!
