Hi again. We've done another new song. It's called 'the word'. The beginning bit was just us mucking about with backwards stuff and reverb and things, but then Richie decided to recite poetry over the top of it. It then turned into something else altogether. Andy and Thomas would like you to know that if you want to skip the poetry bit then fast forward to one minute 16 seconds... Richie would like to apologise for his self-indulgance, but also compound it by posting the offending poem, as you can't really hear the words due to Thomas's crappy mix. The Word
A word Stumbles, trips, Tumbles, From my lips, Still, the hurt in your eyes, Like an eclipse, Casts a shade to disguise my regret.
My regret, That in darkness rests, Infests itself with blame, And longs for things To be the same as before; When the sun's sweet light In your eyes I saw.
To brighter days Can we return? Can the word, And it's meaning, Be heard, And be redeeming? I am, truly,
Sorry.
So, there you are. Happy days...

Hello,
We haven't written a blog for AGES. This is because:
a) We are too lazy. b) We have nothing interesting to say c) Nobody reads them anyway!
But, taking all this into account, and inspired by our friend Kristina who blogs every tuesday come rain or shine, we have resolved to try a bit harder. The fact that no-one appears to read our little nuggets doesn't really matter at the end of the day, because we are fairly sure that aliens are able to tap into the internet, and the good creatures of the planet Zargon (who visited us in a dream) are big fans and like to know what we're up to.
So, anyway, what have we been up to then? Well not much really. Richard spent all of Wednesday playing the new Beatles Rock Band game on his xbox 360, and came to the appalling conclusion that he is better at that than playing the real guitar. The game, however, is fantastic, and is highly recommended.
Andy has been to Venice Italy for a wedding (not his - girls you can relax), and Thomas has been playing with technology and making all sorts of weird compositions with speeded up and slowed down things purely for his own amusement. We may add some instruments to some of these and post them on Myspace or on our website for a laugh...
Apart from that, we've recorded a few new songs recently. You'll find some of them on our site, but we are generally not that happy with most of them. The latest one, I Don't Need You, is OK we think, but we have resolved to try and write stuff which is a bit more cheerful from now on...
So, that's about it for now, and to all those Zargonites out there, 'Kla-hammeet-katep. Bluggi bluggi.'

Hi, We have uploaded a new track - Sleep - and have made it available for download as a public service for those suffering from Insomnia. If you're having trouble sleeping, just put this on repeat play and you'll be snoring away in no time! Trust us, it works; I even fell asleep whilst recording it! Cheers Rich

Due to a lack of popular demand we have recorded a new song, called 'Fruit Salad'. We have always enjoyed going against the grain, and we have always enjoyed fruit salad, so why not name a song after it? Why not indeed... TSF

Hello! We forgot about blogging for a while, but now we have remembered, so here we are! Things have been very busy recently, so The Fools have been inactive, but we're back now and recording new songs, which is nice for us because we enjoy it. There's also talk that we might make a video! Woohoo! Anyhow, we hope all is good in your worlds... TSF

Hello, all few of you that read this! The Shambolic Fools would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year. Please eat as much as possible, as this will help with the global financial crisis. We have been away for a while, which explains why this is our first blog in some time. We have been touring England...which has some very nice Secure Shredding plants. We would especially recommend the one in Swindon. Anyway, please be careful this holiday season. Don't drink and drive, for that is not a wise move. This is all we have to say for now, but look forward to hearing a lot more from us in 2009. We're sure it's going to be a good one... Take care, The Shambolic Fools

Twice in a week! Blimey...
Hello again from The Shambolic Fools. We would just like to reassure everyone that we have not, repeat not, gone disco. We don't want to give the markets another excuse to crash, so we thought we'd better let you know that while, yes, we have recorded a tribute to Gloria Gaynor, no, it is not a camp up-tempo disco stomper. It's actually, perish the thought, kind of a ballady thing, which is most unlike us really. Oops the FTSE will drop another 1500 points on hearing that news...oh well.
Anyway, no-one ever sends us messages, so please can we have some messages please.
Thank you.
Bye!

The Fools here, wishing everyone a merry credit crunch. We hope your credit has not been overly crunched and that you are making the best of it...
We did another song for all 5 of you to listen to. It's called 'Shut Up', and may or may not be to do with being shut in a room with someone annoying. I'm sure you've all been there. We have. Actually we are usually the annoying ones who won't shut up, so we thought we'd write from the other perspective. Now, nobody can accuse us of not being self-aware!
Anyway, recording it was fun, even if the vocal sounds shoddy and amateurish. That's the way we like it, so it's ok. Heaven help us if we ever went into a proper recording studio with knobs and stuff. We would run a mile.
Actually we wouldn't run. We would walk. We're too lazy to run.
Anyhow, that's it for now. Love to all.

Oh yes, folks, it's time for our new bloog. This one is special because it has an extra O. How many other bloogs can say that?
We did a new song today, but that is by-the-by really. What is really important is the sense of joy we feel at life in general. We are at peace within ourselves, and with each other. So much so, that we would be turned down flat if we tried to get on the Jerry Springer show, which is a shame because that is an ambition that Thomas has held since he left school. Oh well, you can't have everything.
We are quite surprised that this bloog (well not this one, but previous ones) has been viewed 208 times. Who is reading it? Why? Why have we only ever had 9 comments? More importantly we have only had 4 kudoses. This is simply not acceptable. Surely we should be getting kudoses just out of sympathy if nothing else...it's not fair.
This is our only grievance, so please think on, and take this under consideration. We have nothing further, so please feel free to ask us any questions you may have about the band, and ourselves. We would be more than happy to answer them, although we may lie in our answers.
Anyway, we love you all, and hope to hear from you soon.

Oh, the green leaves in the trees, the thwack of leather against willow, the ice cubes clinking in the glasses of Pimms...and the rain...and the thunder, and the Grand Pier in Weston-super-mare (the town where I grew up) burning down....
Isn't summer wonderful? Well, we thought we'd write a summer song to capture this wonderful time. We called the song 'Summer Song', because we were too lazy to think of a better title, but I suppose it's fairly apt.
Anyway, it's a jaunty enough little number which plops along with a reasonable degree of fortitude, no doubt helped by the bottle of red wine drunk during it's recording. We're sorry if red wine isn't very rock'n'roll, but it was all we had, and we couldn't be bothered to go to the shop, because that would have involved walking.
Anyway, enjoy the song...that's if anyone actually reads this.
Love
Rich
