A limited amount of posters from The White Stripes 2007 dates will be available from their webstore Thursday 21st February at 3.33pm EST.

The sale will include designs from the following cities:   Rome, Milan, Vienna,  Paris, Charlottetown, Montreal, Thunder Bay, Moncton, London ONT, New York (Irving Plaza) and Nashville.  These posters are tour leftovers and will be priced according to condition.

A very small amount of posters from cancelled shows in Albuquerque, Austin and Inglewood will also be available, as will a 2006 tour poster from Japan.

Sales will be restricted to one poster per person.

The White Stripes are pleased to announce the release of "Conquista", a Spanish language version of their current hit "Conquest".  The single will be released on CD and 7" vinyl in the U.S on February 19th and in Spain on March 4th.  The release will appear credited to Las Rayas Blancas and comes with the following track listing:

2.(B) Conquest (Versión Acústica De Mariachi)

Apologies to those of you that have purchased any of the "Conquest" seven inches in the USA as they had incorrect stamp stickers placed on them by the factory. As you can imagine, the holidays prevented us from finding this out right away and have also provided us with the challenge of getting it corrected in a timely fashion as everyone was away on vacation until recently. Existing stock will now feature the correct stickers and should be ready to ship by early next week. For those of you who already possess your copies, a "Conquest" stamp sticker can be mailed to you if you send your full mailing information and which singles you purchased to whitestripesvinyl@gmail.com. The digital maxi single for "Conquest" will now be available via iTunes US tomorrow, December 11th. You can hear snippets from two of the new b-sides that feature Beck on their Myspace profile. The three vinyl versions of the single will be released in the US on December 18th and in the UK on December 31st.

The White Stripes have been nominated for 4 Grammys in the categories of 'BEST ALTERNATIVE ALBUM', 'BEST ROCK SONG', 'BEST ROCK PERFORMANCE BY A DUO OR GROUP' and 'BEST LIMITED PACKAGING' at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. The nominations are for the band's 6th album Icky Thump and its title track. The bands limited edition "Jack and Meg" Icky Thump USB drives received the nomination for 'BEST LIMITED PACKAGING'. The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will take place at The Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 10th 2008.
