Current mood:busy as fuck

Yea, punk rock is big business, don't you fucking forget.

We finished exactly five minutes of new material that we'll announce when there's more to say.  We're gearing up for another quick round of writing and recording to finish up the DOOMSDAY Split 7inch, and then we're going to be returning our focus to our full length.  You can check the other blogs for specific details.

As far as shows, we're hitting New Jersey this weekend to thrash with some friends, then likely laying low while we do some housecleaning and get back on track with our recording projects.

In the meantime, I took some artwork I was working on and busted a new screen last week.  The test prints came out nice, so I updated the page with a new shirt design for order, if you're interested.  Myspace is fucking with my PayPal links, so you'll be redirected to our main website to place your order, until I can fix the problem.  Here's the artwork:

That's it for now.

Current mood:  hyper
Quick update [September 2009]: we needed to write and record about 5 minutes of new material for an upcoming comp and were forced to put the split on hold for a minute.  The comp tracks are finished...so, we'll return to the split for mix down/pressing as soon as we can work out the scheduling. We're still planning to get it out this year.

-------------------------------

We're getting set to finish up our work for a split 7inch with NJ's epic grinders DOOMSDAY MACHINE SCHEMATIC.   We've been friends with these dudes for awhile, they're a devastating band, and we're very excited to have this opportunity to collaborate with them on this release.  Both bands are contributing new material, in addition to a cover song that will appear on a CD-version of the split, and are scheduled to record in Virginia with our own Blaine "I smell a hit" Misner at the controls.

Here it is kids...one disc, five songs, 6 minutes of your life wasted...courtesy of your friends at Fort Awesome Records and Tapes.  These are FREE at shows or with online shirt orders.

The disc contains "Jesus Wept" from the most recent 2008 "Satan Sessions" recordings; "A City of Martyrs", "For When the Pale Horse Approaches", and "the Culling" from the 2006/2007 recording sessions; and a special bonus track.

If you'd like a copy, but can't make it to our shows, I have put together an electronic promo with select songs from all of our recording sessions, with artwork and credits.  If you're interested in obtaining a copy, please email me [Tony] directly at threefaces@hotmail.com and I'll send you a zip file in mp3 or itunes format [let me know which you prefer].

I plan on putting together a more complete "demo discography" so people can make sense of the music they may have collected over the years.  There were two versions of the very first demo - "Suck Ass Demo 6" and "Subject to Decay" - they're essentially the same music from the 2005 recordings with different artwork.  "Subject to Decay" was distributed as part of our 2006 Tour and is the version most folks have.

Shortly after tour, we released a split demo with SALOME that included "the Culling" and "For When the Pale Horse Approaches" from our 2006/2007 recording sessions.

Just before we packaged up the current 2008 demo, some folks may have picked up "the End is Nigh" at shows, which was a 2 song disc that included one unreleased track from one of the older recordings and one unreleased track from the 2008 "SATAN SESSIONS" - either "Jesus Wept" or "Satan II".  The artwork was hand-drawn...poorly.

There were other iterations of these demos, since all are hand-made for the shows and I can't always afford to buy materials...if you have a version not listed above, let me know. If you're missing any songs...come to more shows.

That brings us up to date.  I'll see if I can't get some artwork posted for the few older releases.

Thanks.
