Current mood:Lousy
I was at a website for Octone Records looking at their demo submission page, and they wanted you to submit your 3-4 best songs. I have no idea what my best songs are. Do you? Eh, Whatever, I guess I'll figure it out. For now I have organized the songs on my myspace player in a manner that I think would keep people the most intrigued. Who knows...

So I don't have too much time right now but I just wanted to give you all a heads up. That the new album has been completed and shipped off to itunes, amazon, rhapsody, and another place that I forget for digital Distribution. I will also be selling physical CDs from my online webstore at www.TonyeChristopher.com. It will be available April 1st! The album is called "I Dreamt I Was A Rockstar." It features 10 original songs that i kind of used celebrities as partial inspiration. These people include Kanye West, John Mayer, Jennifer Anniston, Jessica Alba, Hallle Berry,  Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Kiera Knightly (in Love Actually), Scarlett Johansson, Paris Hilton, and last but not least ... the city of angels itself.

Also being released with this album, to make it doubley special is my cover album of John Mayer songs. It is called "Undercovers with John Mayer" and it features 9 songs ... Waiting On The World To Change, Slow Dancing In A Burning Room, Your Body Is A Wonderland, Gravity, I Don't Trust Myself (With Loving You), Belief, Dreaming With A Broken Heart, Say, and Daughters.

I'm hoping you'll like it. I have acutally loaded boths albums up onto my imeem page. You can take a listen at www.imeem.com/tonyechristopher. I know you guys will likey..., because I do. So keep in touch, spread the word, and I promise to keep you updated more often!

Current mood:  anxious

So the new album is almost done. All tracks have been recorded and mixed down. I shipped it off to the mastering engineer for the final touches and they just sent me an email yesterday saying they were finished and "we are sure you will be pleased with the results." A few people have heard some of the new tracks, un-mastered, and they really seem to like them so I am excited for you all to hear it. I'm a little worried though that this mastering engineer might be a bit of scam artist, something about our email correspondence just seems a little off to me. However that may just be my father's paranoia syndrome creeping into my brain. I suppose not everyone in the world is out to screw you over. So I will let you know, if it turns out to be a scam though, there's going to be some furniture moving through the air at my apartment. Anyway, I'll tell you more about the album at a later date, just wanted to give you guys a shout and let you know that I am still alive.

Hey All,

Sorry I've been MIA on the blogging scene the past couple Months. It gets busy around here with all that I'm trying to do. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I have been hard at work on a cover songs project for you guys that will also include all of the songs from my latest EP a few Hollywood stories. I'll explain it all to you when I have more time, but I just wanted to let you know I have posted some live photos from my most recent show for you all to enjoy. I've also got some other more artistic photos coming. I took them with a wonderful photographer Brooke Berry. She's awesome. You can check her out on myspace at myspace.com/brookeberry. My photos are on my myspace page's pics link. The Photos!

So I've been slacking on my pimpin' this summer, or more appropriately I've been slacking on the blogging the past month and a half... my sincerest apologies. I've working traveling and working in the "beat lab" a lot these days, and sometimes I forget to let you guys know what's going on with me.

Anyway I've posted a demo for a new song I've been working on for a while. It's called "Scarlet Fever." It's pretty much a comparison between hollywood's obsession with Scarlett Johansson when she first hit the scene and how you feel about someone when you get into a relationship with them. Anyway, let me know what you think when you get a chance. I hope you like it.

In other news I've got the beer Olympics in Cincinnati today. I am a representative of team Italy (...I'm sicillian)! My team consists of Steph, my roomate Bryan, and my good friend Chrissy. So we will be looking to tear it up this week. I'll see what we can do. Wish us luck and I hope you all have a great weekend.

Peace,
Chris

So it has been a very busy few weeks for me. On top of working at the day job, I have done some traveling to Akron, Columbus, and Atlanta the past three weekends, and I'm off to Chicago this coming weekend. This past weekend in Atlanta I had my family reunion. It was hot, but not as bad as it could've been. I played basketball in a pair of skater shoes... quite unsuccessfully I might add. I did however manage to not embarrass myself, but I do need to get back into shape very badly. We had a talent show and whatnot. I played my song "Good For You" and did a little medley with "My Girl" by the temptations and managed to squeeze out the victory in the adult division. That's right... I am an adult. It was the first time my parents have ever seen me play anywhere other than my bedroom, so it was cool to see them clapping along and stuff. I'm looking forward to the CHI this weekend, but I'm slightly tired of traveling so much. Soon I'll be able to sit and not move and then I'll be bored with Dayton again, but until then I am fantasizing about not spending decades of time riding in a car each weekend.

FYI, got the John Mayer live CD/DVD a couple weeks ago and it is probably the best Concert DVD I've ever seen, cinematically speaking anyway. It's a good concert, long, but good. Wish I had been there when they filmed it. Anyway, in case you were wondering there is not currently a "FRIENDS" movie in the works... has anyone seen Lisa Kudrow lately, she looks like she has weathered the most out of all of her "friends" from what I have seen.. ok that's not nice, but seriously, use sunblock when you're young people otherwise you'll regret it when you're older. Ciao!

PS Working on some more songs and the live show for you fine people to enjoy. I'll keep you posted as to there completion estimate.

Just in case you missed the bulletin I posted...

So I wasn't really satisfied with the drums in my Moving To LA Remix so, I redid them and I think they now sound fantastic... at least better than before. So check it out and let me know what you think. Also I put the original Moving To LA back onto the page for your listening pleasure. Lastly I fixed Love Actually, most of you won't notice the difference because you probably didn't listen to the song 500 times like I did. This is kind of long for a bulletin, maybe I'll put into a blog as well.

Music is love!

Chris

PS, I said yesterday that Jared Mahone Band was playing on Saturday at Comfest in Columbus,OH; but I was informed that he may be playing on Sunday.
