Sorry. I was focused to get done, but there has been much busy-ness in life.

I am taking a break for now, and will consider starting up again, when the snow melts.

Well, we've had a bit of a break, but we are at it again.

Current plan with life and all is to have the story finished in January.

And then editing begins.

You probably won't see any major updates to the story in that time unless I get some time to put the pages together.

Otherwise we'll be newsless until it is done.

I'll try to keep up on messages though.

This past week I've had a hell of a migraine.  I've had 3 medicines.  The 3rd provides me with enough relief to function.

This was not all a bad thing.  It has given me time to rethink my editing plans.  I'm going to put off editing in order to try to finish in December/January time frame.  There will be plenty of time to edit when the first book is done.

Then after the editing nothing else changes at this point.  Try to publish and start on the 2nd book.

Later, I may even take a whack at some of my solo stuff.  I've been wanting to update some short stories from 10 yrs ago.  But only time will tell if I get to do any of that.

As I go back to re-edit the Ancient texts... Chapters 1-30... I am reminded that Trinexdey was originally a writing experiment between myself and Nameless. This led to some of the writing being really weird.

For example it all started with this paragraph:
It had been two days walking through a small untamed forest, looking for some sign of escape,
when I came across a crescent-moon city buried deep in the side of the hill. It was golden-
yellow with tall and wide buildings. At the city's center, rose a oddly humble castle. I
recognized it immediately, my uncle's empire. He's a house ruler, if you would, not a king, but
more like a mayor. I am going around. I came upon a smaller village on its outskirts. Relaxing
at the site of it, I continued forth, looking for the nearest well. I scratched myself on the hip as
thoughts of a warm bath, clean cloths, and my current layers of grime entered my mind.

This came to me in an email that sort of read like this:
"Hey, let's write a story together, here's the first paragraph."

I originally took this as a perspective story so I wrote as another character from his point of view and let Nameless write from his character's namesake's perspective.

This doesn't last too long as the two eventually team up and everything is eventually told from Nameless's perspective.

There was even a question/answer with Tok, which was basically Error and Kali asking Tok about Rodimus. This in reality was me asking Nameless about Rodimus as a character because I didn't know what the heck a Measure was (... we'll do a Trinexdey dictionary/Wiki someday ...) and how to write about him originally. So our phone transcript was used in the story.

Usually this consisted of me writing the heroes into a tough spot and then Nameless writing them out of it and into another one to see how I would get them out.

The rule was to not have any one plot because we wanted to make it some what like life. Life has all sorts of substories but a lot of times there is no main story, because life is sort of a flow of a bunch of stories merging into one without any one person's story any more important than anothers....

This was great in the beginning, and then we wanted to share it but we had this awful discombobulated story with many wonderful characters and so many subplots that Harry Potter wouldn't want to tackle in a single volume with a 10 ft. wand.

So we went back and converted it to the 3rd person, took out divider marks that marked where authors switched writing duties, and assigned myself as editor with the goal of merging the story together in spots to streamline it.

Why am I writing this? Well while I find all this neat(and some of you may like it too) you can see that our thoughts weren't too formulated yet and we sort of duplicated information for the sake of clarifying our clarifications.

What I am about to do is worse than when Han shot first and then George Lucas changed history. ok maybe it isn't as bad as changing Star Wars, because we only got like 10 readers and 29 ppl on our Myspace, so you may not even care a whole lot, but it sort of matters to me. I like the old stuff for what it meant to us back then and it is what made our story what it is today.

But in order for the story to grow and flourish and just plain make sense and not bore ppl, I'm going to go back and change history and remove the final 1st person stuff, streamline the story, and remove the duplicate info.

I am letting everyone know so they will be aware that some elements are changing order. In theory you won't need to re-read anything because no facts or details are changing, just being rearranged. But hopefully the end result will be a much more readable beginning that you may want to re-read and say, "Good Job!" or something.

So in the future, if you ever want to see the old one let me know and if I still have a copy of it I'll send it your way.

The plan at this point is to finish the first book, wrap up with editing, let it set for a while and edit again (I have no idea why this works but it does) and then look into publishing it so anyone who wants a hard copy actual book can get one, and then make the New York Times bestseller list and then onto making it into a movie with Peter Jackson and Sam Raimi and maybe even Joss Whedon as like a directors council or something. We're going to need to sell a lot of books to pay these guys, so if anyone say knows a guy who knows a guy, to help me make this happen, let me know.

Then onto the next book. We'd like to do three books but it is looking more like four.

... maybe i'd like to finish all the books first before making the movies ... it'll be exciting either way.

I got a chance to go thru the first couple of chapters.  I'm going to have to edit and look harder for the old first person view.  It's hard to believe that stuff is still in there.

Also I'm going to redo the TOK answer/question session with Kali and Error in chap 2 or wherever that part is. This was originally written dialog from our phone conversation. It was neat at the time when it was really me asking questions of Nameless, but now that the story has taken on a more finished form I don't feel like it fits anymore. It feels circular.

Anyway,  I may wait until I finish rereading the whole thing first to make sure all the new stuff matches the old.

I also found a weird font issue in one of the substories that I think occured when I either changed OS or Office software.

Yeah I know, not a real entertaining blog, but if you're curious about our progression, it will keep you informed.

Our copyright is updated. Didn't change much. So you can still download and share with people, just make sure we get the credit.

Chapter 40 has practically been completely rewritten, and is now finished.

Nameless is going to try to take a break from classes to start on Chapter 41, but don't worry, if he can't get to it then I'll try to keep going.

We will try to get new material up every couple of weeks.

Also while he has the main story I'm going to work on a parody section, that involves sort of a deleted scenes section. Scenes that wouldn't really fit in the main story, but stuff we think of that we think is funny.

Anyway, comments and fanmail is appreciated.. You know, tell us how great the story is and stuff.

Oh and as always editing is always underway, so if anything looks wrong please let me know, but just so you know some things may not be corrected. Some things are written incorrectly on purpose... take it as foreshadowing, and hopefully we won't forget to refer back to it.

I've got my computer back and plan to write some tonight and tomorrow.

I should have my computer back tonight, but I don't know if I'll have time until tomorrow to actually get online.  Or work on the story for that matter.  Anyway if everything works out, I should have some time Saturday and an update sometime this weekend.

Bleah. I finally start making some headway and my computer starts having trouble with the power supply.

I'm up for now. It seems that after unplugging my mac from power the power supply doesn't pickup right away when it is plugged back in. So after being plugged in for 2 hours it works fine again.

So I can stay plugged in and it works fine, however I'm going to try to get this fixed and that may leave me without a decent machine to work on the story as the file has gotten quite large for my old pc which will serve as my backup.

Anyway, I'll try to get some update on the story by sunday but if things don't go well, the update will have to wait until my mac is fixed.

The great and mighty break is over. I'm currently dabbling in the Ancient texts to surmise where we are up till now to refresh my brain in the world of Trinexdey. Then the writing begins anew.

Nothing is updated yet, and since I have work and some events I expect about a week to get the story updated and then the editing down to making it make sense. So when this is done I'll let you know. I just wanted to let you all know that the writing has begun again.
