Dear Charlene "Tweet" Keys

I'm gonna go on a limb and say you get a lot of letters from fans who are appreciative fans, and I know it gets stressful to read them all, and if you just read this and pass it on, Its okay because I just want to let you know if it weren't for you I probally wouldn't, first of all, be here still, and secondly be who I am today.
When I was 13, I had gotten in a relationship, a very long lasting one, It was good. The relationship lasted 6 months till i was cheated on. Also even though i was young, being 13 was a depressing time, I was going into my final year of junior high, and all my friends had turned on me and I was very much alone. It wasnt untill I had began to smoke that made me turn to the song "Smokin Cigarettes" and then the rest of the album. It had became my diary for just about a year. It had also opened me up past the hot beats and catchy songs of R&B/Soul, but shown me that there were all these amazing vocalists who actually recorded something worth a listen, that actually meant something.
I had recently read you were ready to forget the music and be mom, and when I read that I was kinda floored because, You're Tweet, you're no quitter. But I am very happy that you did decide to pic back up the mic and sing, the world needs more like you, the real artsits in the industry. I hope this note does somehow get to you, and If you've gotten as far as here you've made my day. So thank you Tweet, or Charlene, Ms. Keys, or whatever you'd like because I know I'm not the only fan who feels this way

- Stephen F.
A Tweet fan, forever

I REALLY HOPE YOU READ THIS. A TRUE FAN

Body:

I will be so glad when you come out with another cd I really miss hearing your music. Your voice sound so angelic to me. Everytime I hear your voice it reminds me of my mother her nickname was Tweet and her real name was Teresa and she passed in her sleep in 1994 at the young age of 38. What make this really odd is my name is Charlena. I would just like to say thank you for being you.

May you continue to be blessed,

Charlena Calloway

CHECK OUT THE INTERVIEW WITH DJ BOOTH!!!!!!!!!!IT'S IN THE PLAYER

Friday, November 02, 2007

The Atlanta R&B singer who had everyone wondering what topic she was thinly, sensuously disguising on her first hit single "Oops (Oh My)" in 2002, released a second CD in 2005 that somehow did an "Oops" saleswise, and is now in midtown Atlanta's Patchwerk Studios fine-tuning her return.

SONIA MURRAY / Staff
Atlanta R&B singer Tweet is working on a new album, 'Love Tweet,' which she calls a 'thank you' to her fans. She says it should be in stores the first quarter of next year.

• The work: Her new album, "Love Tweet." "And I called it that because it's a 'thank you' to my fans who have hung in there with me — who come up on the street and say 'We're waiting for you!' It's a love note to them."

• The atmosphere: Besides the mix of a new Chingy single bleeding into this room from the studio downstairs, it's pretty quiet. Tweet's 17-year-old daughter (who appeared on her last CD, "It's Me Again"), is having McDonald's for lunch. And some of the Patchwerk staff has just brought up bottled water and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. "I can't have one though," Tweet sighs. "I've got to do VH1. I've got to be good."

• The thing she thinks will surprise people: "My song with [Atlanta rapper/actor] T.I., called 'My Dear'. It's an Atlanta-sounding record ... And I think Tweet records are usually acoustically driven. [And] very soft."

• The surprising thing revealed during the session: Tweet actually started in a gospel group called Greater Love. Then she was in a rap duo. She forgets the group's name, but she was called Brown Tone at the time. Next was Sugah, the R&B trio put together by DeVante Swing, of the R&B group Jodeci. "We happened right before Destiny's Child," Tweet recalls. "And I really think we could have given them a run for their money." (Next came Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, and Tweet's first record deal as a solo artist. Now she is signed to music legend Jheryl Busby's Umbrella Recordings.)

• The scheduled time for you to hear it: "We want to have three songs out before next year," Tweet says, "and the album in stores in the first quarter of next year."

I CHECK MY MAIL TODAY AND WAS SADDENED TO GET THIS MESSAGE:

this is messege is for Tweet: I recently had added your song on my profile only to be removed at your request. I have been somewhat of a fan to the degree that I have spent my hard earned money purchasing your latest CD. Needless to say you will never see another penny of mines. Your unwillingness to share your music has completely turned me off to you

I EXPLAINED TO HER HOW I HAD NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS TALKING NOR DO I KNOW WHAT SONG SHE'S REFERRING TO.
SO THIS IS MY APOLOGY TO HER AS WELL AS ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS BEEN AFFECTED BY SOME AUTOMATIC MESSAGE SPEAKING FOR ME....ITS NOT ME.  I WOULD NEVER REQUEST FOR MY FRIENDS TO REMOVE ANY MUSIC UNLESS IT WAS FALSELY PLACED AND IN THAT CASE IT WOULD JUST BE REMOVED IN A GRACEFUL MANNER.
THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND KNOW THAT ITS ALL LOVE THIS WAY.
                                     LOVE
