Describing Unity Consciousness

The experience of unity consciousness is transcendent, beyond mind. To describe (or attempt to describe) the experience of unity consciousness with the use of conceptual language inherent in the mind is quite difficult.


It's similar to describing the feeling of falling in love or the birth of a child -- difficult to put into words, or, just the right words. Words are labels, and labels are by their nature limiting. Just as one cannot accurately describe infinity, one cannot accurately describe unity consciousness. The words used in the futile attempt to describe unity consciousness can, however, serve as a bridge to the experience of oneness.


No two individuals will view a oneness experience alike. If two persons traveled to the North Pole, one may describe the experience as an opportunity to view mammoth and beautiful glacial formations. Yet, the other may complain of the bitterly cold conditions. It's all in the eye of the beholder, yet there may be common threads in the descriptions of those who have the beyond-mind experience.


In stark contrast to our interpretation of life in a dualistic manner, one may be struck by the inherent connectedness of all life in the oneness state. No longer is one separate as an individual, seeing all as outside or beyond the borders of self. Rather than being exclusive, all of life is viewed a part of one's self. The trees, the plants, rocks, other persons, sand on the beach, space, time, thought, love — everything is you and you are everything. It is one gigantic unified relationship in the ocean of existence. It's crossing the bridge from "little ol' me" to "infinity.

    While in the dualistic state there might have been ignorance, mysteries or unanswered questions, now it all makes complete sense.


While it may seem that experiencing this infinite connectedness could be a burden on the brain, the experience itself is one of utter tranquility. Whereas the nature of the dualistic "reality" causes an on-going tension or battle in thought, the oneness experience is a fusion of any such tension into an infinite peace. Everything is "just fine" or "just perfect" about life. Actually, it feels beyond perfect in this infinite sea of tranquility. The stormy waters of life subside and there is perfect and undeniable calmness to the waters. It is true and unfathomable peace.


Inherent within the unity consciousness is a deep understanding of life as never before. While in the dualistic state there might have been ignorance, mysteries or unanswered questions, now it all makes complete sense. You KNOW, though not in an intellectual manner. You know because you have become the experience, and it's closer to you and more a part of you than the air you breathe. It is in every cell of the body, between every cell, and then some. You are no longer a wandering soul, but one who is firmly entrenched in Truth, fully realized.


You are present. No longer is there is concept of time and space. There is no yesterday or tomorrow. There is no here nor there. Any descriptions relating to time do not exist, as mental constructs are simply washed away. Even saying all is NOW fails as a description, as time ceases to exist.


One expands in appreciation through the oneness experience. EVERYTHING has immense value, from the atom in a grain of sand, to the little ant scurrying about, to every hair on our head, to the wind blowing in the trees, to every star in the sky. There is no value system in the sense that someone or something is more important than another. With all being an inherent part of infinite consciousness (often termed "God"), every aspect of existence has infinite value. Judgments made outside of this experience have come only from the mind of man, which, but its very nature, creates hierarchical structures.


Though we have been strongly indoctrinated that activity or doing is the key to a successful and productive life, we see differently when we transcend. Instead, we see being as a core of, well, our being. It becomes enough to just "stand still," as a tree would stand firm on the ground, and simply exist. Such does not imply that one would only sit in a corner and refrain from using the mind and body; what it means is that we now more fully understand that we are no longer as identified with our actions, roles and accomplishments. We are full and complete in just being; we no longer feel the need to become someone. There is immense value in our nature, in who we are at our very core, without moving a finger.


Perhaps the most dramatic aspect of the unity experience is that we are transformed. Though we are still the person we were before the experience, we are very different. It is as if the old self is peeled away, and what emerges is this creature of life, love, understanding, peace and contentment. It is a new life that feels "closer to home" or that one has arrived. There is no place for fear, doubt or worry, as those are seen only as remnants of the dualistic mind. There is no sense of lack, as the universe of abundance and infinite intelligence is now at one's call. There is only allowing, the unfolding of life in its perfect manifestation of our higher nature. You are a flower in bloom, though fully bloomed. Life is a magnificent paradox.


And as inspiring and uplifting as these words may sound, they doubtfully convey even a fraction of a percentage of the experience. It's life beyond words, beyond thought, into a land beyond where our imaginations are able to travel. There's no way to comprehend it all with our limited minds, and yet we can experience enough of it to understand that, regardless of shape, size, status or place in life, we are inherently divine.

The Science Of Collective Consciousness

With more and more people talking about collective consciousness, it seems natural to wonder, Is there any scientific research to back it up? The answer, increasingly, appears to be "yes." In fact, a growing body of recent research suggests not only that a field of awareness and intelligence exists between human beings but also that through it we influence each other in powerful ways.

Just as Gene Roddenberry imagined a future in which Star Trek's Spock could "mind meld" with others, more of us are now becoming aware of our remarkable capacity to intuit each other's thoughts and emotions, as well as to consciously think and create together without communicating through the five senses. Collective consciousness becomes most apparent in our ability to intuitively sense and work with the interactions between our and others' physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual "energy fields." Although science has long been convinced of the existence of gravitational, electric, and magnetic fields, significant research in the frontier science known as parapsychology, or the study of psychic ("psi") phenomena, indicates that other types of fields—including thought fields—may also exist.

A fundamental psi phenomenon is extrasensory perception or influence, perhaps made possible by the apparent ability of consciousness to operate beyond the constraints of space and time. Examples include telepathy and remote viewing. The existence of psi (or tele-prehension, as Ken Wilber calls it) has been convincingly demonstrated in numerous scientific studies carried out by Marilyn Schlitz, Dean Radin, and others. In typical remote viewing experiments, for example, one individual is sent to a distant, undisclosed location while another individual, who remains in the lab, attempts to "remotely view" and describe that distant location in detail. Across a large number of experiments, remote viewers have been able to describe another's surroundings with a statistically significant degree of accuracy. Intriguingly, pairs who had an emotional bond have obtained the strongest results. These findings suggest that groups whose members build a sense of connection and trust with each other may have an increased capacity to access and understand each other's perspectives, to "see through each other's eyes."

Biologist Rupert Sheldrake and others have conducted several ingenious experiments that show how widespread psi abilities are—even in animals. Using synchronized video cameras placed in the homes and workplaces of dog owners, he has proven that dogs go to wait at the front doors of their homes at the precise moment their owners decide to return home from work, even when those times are varied daily. Sheldrake, Radin, and others have conducted numerous telepathy experiments on human beings as well, demonstrating that people can sense the thoughts and intentions of others across space and time. This research includes studies on a common experience called "the sense of being stared at." By separating two people in a laboratory setting, with the first person hooked up to equipment that monitors his or her nervous system and the second person staring at the first person at random intervals on a closed-circuit television, researchers have collected evidence for the existence of this phenomenon with statistical "odds against chance" of 3.8 million to one.

Sheldrake has also demonstrated in a number of studies that we can assist each other's learning across distances, without any external interaction or communication. In one study, for instance, a group of individuals completed a newly created crossword puzzle, and their average completion times were recorded. The same puzzle was then broadcast to millions via TV, for the viewers at home to complete. Subsequently, a new group, who had not seen the puzzle at all, finished it significantly faster than the original group, suggesting that as a result of so many individuals having done the puzzle, knowledge of the puzzle was somehow etched into the field of collective consciousness, making it increasingly easier for others to solve.

Radin, the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) Lab, and Roger Nelson's Global Consciousness Project have taken research into consciousness "field effects" even further—into the realm of mind/matter interactions—by conducting a series of intriguing experiments with random number–generating (RNG) computers. RNGs can basically be thought of as sophisticated coin-flipping machines, programmed to issue zeroes or ones randomly. That is, just as if you were to flip a coin one hundred times and could expect the "heads" and "tails" sides to come up fifty times each, so it is with an RNG—producing, on average, an equal number of zeroes and ones. Ordinary people, however, have used the power of thought alone to create order out of this randomness, causing RNGs that were sometimes thousands of miles away to issue significantly more of one number over many trials, simply by intending to do so. Bonded pairs—couples in a relationship—produced effects that were six times stronger than individuals. Like the remote viewing experiments, these results indicate that people with an emotional connection, when acting in concert, are more influential than individuals acting alone.

Just as we can create order in physical systems through focused attention or intention, a number of experiments have suggested that two or more people can create synchronization or coherence between their nervous systems. For example, in research funded by the Institute of Noetic Sciences and others, Marilyn Schlitz and William Braud have shown that individuals who are calm and relaxed can intentionally reduce the anxiety of others in distant places, and that people consciously focusing their attention can help others in remote locations to concentrate their wandering minds. In another arena—"distance healing"—67 percent of 150 controlled studies have shown that individuals and groups can use intention, relaxation, enhanced concentration, visualization, and what is described as "a request to a healing force greater than themselves," to heal others to a statistically significant degree. Healing effects and tele-prehension have increased when participants felt empathy and rapport or when they meditated together.

On community, societal, and even worldwide levels, more than twenty experiments, published in respected scientific journals, have demonstrated that Transcendental Meditation groups representing one percent of a target population have caused significant improvements in measures of quality of life and physical and mental health and have reduced crime, accidents, conflict, and war in the entire target population, apparently by reducing stress in the collective psyche.

These and other studies provide strong evidence that we can develop and work with our collective consciousness to produce a number of important interpersonal, organizational, and social benefits—from increased empathy, understanding, and respect to enhanced health, cooperation, and creative collaboration. In our increasingly diverse workplaces, communities, and global institutions, where we are challenged by extremely complex and urgent problems, cultivating these capacities will not only promote the common good but also could ensure our survival.

Our Collective Energy

Sometimes we look at the actions of others and find it difficult to understand what motivates them. But we are all doing the best we can with the information we currently have. We have all been taught how to see the world from the examples of those around us and by our experiences. Keeping this in mind, we can accept the choices made by others while seeking ways to increase the world's level of consciousness as a whole.

Our different levels of consciousness are like the developmental stages of children, whose understanding varies according to their age and experience. For example, the behavior of a two-year-old who doesn't want to share can be understood as a phase of his social education, whereas a 16-year-old who behaves in the same manner would be thought to be acting childish. It is important to remember that we are each on our own unique path. We may have chosen certain lessons or made an agreement to play certain roles in the unfolding of the world's understanding before we incarnated in this lifetime. So our job is not to judge others but to shift the balance of understanding in the world by increasing our own.

Every thought we have and action we take becomes part of the collective energy of the planet. When we use our energy to bring light into the world, it combines with the light brought by others to dispel the darkness. Though we live in a world of duality, which helps us to experience the material plane, we don't need to experience extremes to understand them. We can share our experiences and understanding with others not from a place of condescension but of connection. When the entire family of humanity understands that each of our thoughts, choices, and actions affect us all, we will share an incredible level of consciousness-one that puts our oneness above all else and helps us evolve into higher expressions of our spiritual selves. Remember the next time you witness an action of another that they are of the same earth as you but simply on a different conscious level at this point in their life. Find compassion, bless them, and move along your day in grace!

The Human Family

An Idea Whose Time Has Come - There are pivotal ideas that have changed the destiny of mankind and shaped its future. Many have remained unnoticed within the shadowy corners of history until a bright light has shown on them, illuminating them, and making them relevant to time, place, and circumstance.

Such is the understanding of the oneness of the human family, of mankind - an idea that has been part of human consciousness for ages, yet one that has not attained its full status as being real or relevant until today, when the planetary body itself is in danger, and when new possibilities appear within the hearts of many who are being influenced by expanding spiritual light upon the Earth.

The idea of the human family relates not only to its essential oneness in terms of the basic needs and rights of every individual upon the Earth - the need and right to food, shelter, and a way of life free from fear. The idea of the human family relates also to the understanding that there is a basic kinship among mankind, a basic essence that we share together so that in heart, mind, body, and spirit, there is more that joins us than that separates us.

This perception, when taken to a deeper level of truth and reality, has radical consequences. For it means that we cannot separate the world any longer into those we love and those we hate, those who are with us and those who are against us. Indeed, we must find a way to achieve common ground even with those we hold profound differences with, recognizing their humanity, recognizing, that they, too, have the same underlying structure of needs and desires that define all that is human.

We are in the process of discovering, today, not a new truth about the physical, biological, or chemical structure of what it means to be human - although advances in science are revealing a great deal in these areas as well. Today, we are discovering a truth that emerges from the heart. This truth emanates a sense of compassion, a desire for peace, a longing for honesty and an end to deception, an aversion to all that limits or restricts the rights of individuals to live freely.

These ideals, illuminated by spiritual light, are glowing more brightly within the human heart, so that structures and policies that are detrimental to the right of individual freedom are being questioned, policies that have been long established that have contained hidden motives or agendas are being uncovered, and practices that are restrictive to human liberty are being exposed. These policies and practices may not yet have an immediate substitute at hand. For the vision of the new has not yet fully come into being. Yet the desire for fundamental respect to be accorded to each and every human being because of their humanity, is moving more into the foreground of human consciousness.

An idea whose time has come may have been present in awareness long before this. It may even have been one commonly referred to, yet without understanding the full consequence of its emergence into the light of day. Such is the idea of the 'human family', one in mind, heart, and spirit, waiting to recognize itself as one in body as well. For this 'body' of the human family is nothing other than the essence of Divine life and Divine energy that has lived within each human soul from the beginning of time. It is the essence of truth and of purity that has remained at the core, no matter what the exterior self has displayed. This Divine essence which links all in 'body' as well as in mind and heart, means that there is no longer an 'outsider' or 'other' that we may declare as such. For all are united in a common Source that flows through the spiritual veins of each human being.

This is the new and radical truth whose time has come. It has not yet fully arrived on the human scene, but is waiting in the wings. It is waiting for each one to awaken to the full meaning of being One.

The Natural Law of Oneness

WE ARE ONE - In countless ways throughout history sages and philosophers have said,"We are One". What comes to mind when you here this phrase spoken? Does this seem a trite platitude, or a literal and obvious fact? A person will tend to understand "We are One" in direct accord with how much inner reflection they have done in their lives. Meditation helps us understand that our oneness is a fact of natural law.

Through human self-reflection, the universal force that is consciousness also self reflects to some degree. This is so because there are no real boundaries between human beings and Nature, other than those we impose. Humanity is an extension of nature and natural laws. This is why we are a medium for That Which Creates and Understands in the Universe.

As part of this creative Cosmos, we too create, self reflect, and come to know the Creator Within. This is why one of the very best ways to know God, is through the knowing of self. Our daily reality is not only a matter of connection with God or Universal Consciousness. We are in fact, actually composed of the same essence as that which is called God. In essence, we are as"cells in the infinite body of God". There are no ultimate boundaries in the cosmos. The universe is actually composed of the very same underlying substance in all places, peoples, and times. We are all "made of God", or in other words, Consciousness.

Within our being is the essence of universal Intent. That Intent prompts us to grow, to increase our knowledge and become ever more than before. This is the impulse of evolution in all living beings. As a result of evolutionary impulses, we have at our command both the intelligence to accurately perceive the laws of Nature, as well as the potential wisdom to apply them effectively. We may, if we so choose, realize our Divine and Natural identity. Humanity may stride forth into a self-enlightened era, one that recognizes Nature and Consciousness as self. Through such understanding we may fashion an enlightened world.

Humanity, like all life, is the expression of Universal Intelligence. We are the product of the Universal Will to evolve, through the medium of living bodies. Life is conclusively not the result of purely random mathematical probabilities. It is the result of an intelligent universe that has Intent, and which is self aware. For this reason it is not reasonable to conclude that we are the sole intelligent creation, in a universe that is itself everywhere intelligent. Our existence and sophistication is testimony to universal order, and purposeful action. It is no mere accident that human potentials for creative, wise and purposeful action are vast. Even the single cell possesses an incredible library of information encoded into its very structure. The scope of that information will never be adequately encompassed by words, not even by many volumes of the most advanced scientific texts. How much more this is true of the human being we cannot even scientifically guess, with any real accuracy. We must turn within to obtain kind depth of knowledge, and how to make best use of it. The intelligent expression of Natural Law, that is everywhere for us to observe, be it named God, Synchronicity, Consciousness, the Tao or Gaia, is still, That which Manifests throughout Nature. When we return to Nature and the natural, the principles of natural law will again become clear to society as a whole. So will the best means for right living in general.

Subjects such as study of the soul, of unified field implications, psychic phenomena, group mind phenomena and the underpinnings of Natural Law, are all fundamental keys to the understanding of life. A striking feature of such studies is their inherently unifying nature. Such fundamental knowledge encompasses all of religion, science, philosophy and day to day living, simultaneously. If one were to summarize all of these pillars of wisdom under one comprehensive heading, it would have to be under the category of consciousness. This is why a knowledge of consciousness breaks all ideological and social boundaries. Through it, all apparent divisions in the world are rendered essentially meaningless. In the realization of self as consciousness, we may see that the conclusions of scientists, theologians, and philosophers of all ages, (past and present) have been derived from the same fundamental reality. In all the great philosophies and religions of history, consciousness and its particulars form the common thread of Truth, that is woven into the fabric of the world's rituals and practices.

One Humanity

There's a wonderful story about Milarepa, the Tibetan Buddhist saint who as a young man went out into the world to experience life and returned home to find his house filled with demons. He was angry and afraid at first and wanted to fight them or flee. Instead, he did the unexpected.

First he took a deep breath and bowed. Half of the demons disappeared. Then he opened his heart and mind, expanded his field of awareness and out of his mouth came a song that sent away all but one of the demons. The last demon, snarling fiercely, opened his mouth to consume Milarepa, but Milarepa placed his head in the demon's mouth. The demon disappeared.

What's wonderful about this story is the way Milarepa dispelled the demons. He "inspired" himself with a deep, calming breath and expanded into the higher perspectives of peaceful non-resistance.

We can do the same. If we are quiet and wait patiently, magnificent insights will come to us too. We have only to expand our view, as ancient people did in watching the constellations move around the nighttime sky. One day, someone built a wheel and civilization moved forward.

How do we move into the higher mind, which sees farther and more truly than our ordinary eyes?

Here's how it works for me. When I take a deep breath, widen my awareness and wait patiently, my still, small voice beckons me into the peaceful serenity of my heart. I am drawn by these joyful feelings into a luminous field of love behind my closed eyes, and I sit silently, gratefully, in these currents of energy until Earth meets Heaven in me.

In this stillness of being, I seek not to know why there was an earthquake and tsunami in the Indian Ocean. I open my heart and envision light illuminating that part of the world, calming and purifying earth, sea and sky. In being a channel of blessings, I too am healed.

Some people consider meditative prayer to be wishful thinking, yet it is the single most effective way to bring about healing and peace. More than anything else, the love and light flowing from us will bring each suffering person the understanding, peace and healing so badly needed and propel us all into the age of enlightenment wheeling toward us now.

The amazing research of Dr Masaru Emoto on water crystals (hado.net) perfectly illustrates the ability of loving prayer to transmute diseased water into molecular patterns of exquisite beauty and harmony. Meditation has the same alchemical effect, according to 600 studies cited by physicist John Hegelin (permanentpeace.org). These studies show that the peaceful energies pulsing outward during meditation build a global brain wave coherence that reduces aggression and heals the quantum field of consciousness.

So why are our lessons still so painful? My still, small voice explains that pain, suffering and loss are in no way part of the natural order. Rather, our resistance to the love flowing through all things creates an energetic snarl of pain and loss.

 As we open our hearts and minds, our empathy moves us into the quantum field of love, where we become one humanity. This is the path of oneness taken by all the great mystics and why the Hindu swami Muktananda said, "Earth, moon, stars and sun revolve inside me." Rumi, the Sufi poet of Islam, urged us to immerse ourselves in the glittering cosmic sea of spirit until our toes begin to say Allah.

The Hebrew prophet Elijah found oneness and divine guidance in the still, small voice within and so did the Christian prophet Jesus. In "The Life of St. Issa," an ancient manuscript translated by a traveler in a Tibetan monastery in the 1880s, Jesus points us to the voice of the heart and God's infinite healing and peace.

The universal laws of love will protect us if we live in harmony with our planet and keep our eyes on the big picture: a wheel inside a wheel turning us inward to an enlightened new age where we are one people, one mind, one soul dispelling its demons and coming to know Itself.

Sending Our Collective Light  Around The World


POWER IN NUMBERS - Like tiny ripples that merge to form great waves, combined human intent is worth more than the sum of its parts. A single individual can initiate worldwide improvement by emitting conscious frequencies of love, beauty, goodness, and wisdom. A group of people focusing their energy on sending out light to the world can set the stage for positive global transformation. All of us possess the ability to channel love energy, to heal, to be a conduit for white light, and to positively influence our fellow humans from afar. Yet one person can only do so much.

Imagine if each one of us took a few moments at the start of each day to send out light to the world from our hearts. Mother Earth would be quickly eased and the planet, as well as every organism and being on it, would be bathed in loving light. The world would be an infinitely beautiful place.

You can help bring about an earth where love triumphs over violence, air and water are nourishing in their purity, and people take pleasure in simply being alive. Alone, the light you emit is a wonderful healing tool, but when you join with others who share your intent to shine compassion and positive energy over the world, a powerful force is created. Your collective consciousness and collective light will wash over the planet, enveloping people, communities, cities, countries, and continents.

Inviting others to send light with you can be a daunting task. People may question the benefits of sending light to an already broken world. You will likely need to explain that each person's light joins with every other, and through the joining all are strengthened. Assure them that what matters is not technique or what religion or beliefs you hold but intent.

As more people come in mindfulness to send their collective light to the world, the power of their planetary gift will increase exponentially. You may already be affiliated with groups that would gladly participate in such a noble project.

Children, who often feel incapable of influencing their world, yet are reservoirs of innate power are usually enthusiastic about sharing their collective light. As you gather together willing people, your individual intent will become a great and powerful wave, and you will see results in your fellow humans, in the news and in your daily life.

Collective Consciousness


What is meant by the term "collective consciousness?" It is a collection of thoughts shared by all beings that has as its source the oneness of the universe. Other terms for collective consciousness are "mass consciousness," "collected thought forms," or "universal consciousness."

Mass consciousness grows from energy-the energy that is accumulated from every thought or word spoken by every person. We all contribute. All thoughts are energy-powerful energy-and energy attracts like energy. Love attracts love; fear attracts fear. Remember that whatever you add energy to multiplies-it does not add, it multiplies. It multiplies because it grows not only from your own energy, but also from the contribution of what other people are thinking. This collection of thoughts creates a "collective consciousness." Every thought contributes to this pool, actually creating an energy form, which is otherwise known as a "thought form." The thought form is real-people who are attuned to and can see energy fields usually describe it as a cloudlike formation, varying in color and sometimes accompanied by a sound or smell.

VISUAL ANALOGY - A visual analogy of the creation of thought forms and their attraction of like forms is found in outer space. Have you ever seen pictures of astronauts in space trying to eat or drink? Because of the lack of gravity, liquids are covered so they do not float out of their containers. Imagine there are two astronauts trying to drink two juices-one grape and the other orange. They knock into one another, spilling their juices into the empty space of the cockpit. Since there is no gravity, the splash of juices separate into individual droplets and float around the cockpit. As the individual droplets float, they begin to merge with other droplets. Eventually a mass of juice floats in the cockpit, a puddle suspended in space. Amazingly, all of the grape juice droplets merge together and all of the orange juice droplets merge together, each attracted to their like and creating two complete puddles of juice. This is a visual representation of the law of attraction, the process by which energy is attracted to like energy.

POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE - Every thought you think or word you speak is like those individual droplets of juice. All float into space and go somewhere. The word and thought energies connect with similar thoughts and words. This collection of thought and word energy grows and grows as it is fed by more individuals' thoughts and words. This energy manifests and creates a reality of some sort. There are positive and negative realities created in this process. Fear, worry, hatred, greed, and dishonesty all create incredibly negative thought forms, with many people continually feeding them and contributing to their manifestation. We have examples of negative realities all over our planet.

EXAMPLES of ACCUMULATED ENERGIES -  Let me share some examples that may coincide with your own experiences and give you a more tangible connection with the concept of collective consciousness. Take a moment to think about some of the cities you have visited. Cities usually have a distinctive feel to them. You may have felt energized, nervous, scared, or enveloped in the history of a particular city you have visited.   I remember a client of mine saying, "I do not know what happened to me. I was driving on the highway in Los Angeles and I found myself honking my horn and flipping people off. That is just not like me. I have never acted like that before. It is totally against my principles." What happened? The collective consciousness lingering around that highway affected her. The accumulation of negative energy generated in that area by continual driving irritation, frustration, and rudeness entered her own consciousness, and she responded in a like manner.

Places hold collective consciousness in them. When you walk into buildings, they each have a "feel," especially the old ones. I was nearly brought to my knees when I walked into the Sistine Chapel in Italy. The magnificence of that place was truly overwhelming. I was only 22 years old, with absolutely no wisdom concerning spiritual matters, and had not entered looking for or expecting spiritual energy. Yet when I walked in, my knees started to buckle and I got goose bumps all over my entire body. I was awestruck. Millions of people had walked into that chapel before me and shared their awe, their prayers, and their love of God. The energy of those feelings lingers and grows. I had a very different experience when I visited the concentration camps in Germany. I cried uncontrollably. The terror, sadness, and depth of despair still linger there; it was a horrific experience.

UNDERSTANDING ENERGY - Although these are examples of two extremes in accumulated energies, they describe the phenomenon. All places have an energy to them-even your home or the individual rooms of your home. Become aware of what the energy of places feels like. As you tune in to these feelings and understand them in terms of energy, you enhance your work with energy.

Thought forms can control behavior and influence thinking because, knowingly or unknowingly, individuals tap into a collective consciousness, which actually exists. Even though you may not be able to see it, it is there. Remember, we are made of energy and are affected by the energy around us. Ideas, concepts, experiences, events, issues, cultures, and spiritual doctrines all have prevailing thought forms connected to them, which may represent hundreds of years of accumulated energy.

LAWS OF ENERGY - Thought forms follow the laws of energy. When you look at all-encompassing attitudes such as hatred, you can understand how massive some thought forms are and why they seem so impossible to heal. However, since all thought forms follow the laws of energy, it is entirely possible to change general attitudes and realities based in hatred or fear.

IMPACT - Remember, manifestation comes about from an accumulation of energy. Thus, when you pray for global peace, visualize a healed planet, or speak of brotherly love. The energy of these actions has a powerful impact. Positive ideology and prayer adds positive energy to the collective consciousness, creating the possibility for hopeful change. The more people who add to this consciousness, the greater the likelihood for positive change.

Coming Together In The Light


ONENESS ON MANY LEVELS - The oneness that is shared by all of life can be perceived on many levels – in the whisper of a beloved, in the smile of a child, in the fragrance of a flower, in the graceful dance of a leaf as it falls from a tree – all of these gestures of life can touch the heart and cause it to embrace life in its fullness, to experience something of the mystery of connection that resides within all living things.

Yet, the heart may at times be overshadowed by the mind, with its rational and analytic gifts. This mind, when given priority in determining our view of life, can bring forward new understandings and visions of the possible, but it can also prevent understanding from happening and limit vision and connection.  For the mind can be dismissive of the heart and invalidate the deeper intuitive knowing that springs spontaneously from the soul.  When this happens, we only believe what our physical senses tell us.  Then, only what is visible is perceived as real.

The truth of the heart connected with the soul is other than this.  The heart in its deepest layer knows itself to be part of something larger.  It feels the rhythm of life moving through it and can acknowledge the great beauty and mystery of the universe.  It does not need the mind to tell it whether a greater Life is real.  It feels part of this greater Life and thus knows it to exist.

This inner knowing is brought forward when we join together with other souls in the light. Such joining can more easily release the supremacy of the mind because of the synergy that joining with others creates.  This synergy can open channels to the heart and make possible that which would not be possible under other circumstances.

Light itself is the great revealer.  It is the force of God's love and will united in an energetic matrix that can penetrate human consciousness in order to heal it from within.

The synergy of light created when many come together in the light, is based on the interweaving of all the strands of light that individual souls carry  within themselves, with those they can receive from higher dimensions, and those they resonate with in other souls.  These multiple strands merge with each other into a stream of vast power and energy that is more than the sum of its parts.  Such merging is a reason that collective consciousness can be such a powerful force in shaping individual perception.  It is also the reason that consciousness can more easily bridge dimensions when joined with others as one, for the light itself finds its way back and forth across dimensions to the Source of life itself.

In prayer or meditation, when people sit together and align themselves with the Source of life and light, a great stream of holy energy is formed out of the specific intentions of those joining together.  This stream has the ability to accelerate the healing and awakening of individual souls, and also the ability to broadcast its energy to the planet as a whole.  Such a joining is of direct benefit to the self.  It is also of direct benefit to the planet.

In the times to come, the sense of the oneness of souls will become as natural as feeling embedded and separate within one's own skin has felt natural in the past.  And souls will recognize their sharing in the Oneness as simply a statement of truth and of identity, rather than something that has to be struggled to attain.   Before that time, however, what is needed is the active effort of every soul who seeks to promote peace and unity, to join in heart and spirit with others, both for the purpose of individual healing, and for the purpose of healing the Earth.  In this way our coming together in the light becomes a light for the planet – one that can infuse and transform this sacred globe so that it becomes a planet of harmony and light, where division and hatred can exist no longer.

The Path to Oneness

Since the dawn of the mists of time, you have had one great soul urge, and that is to reunite with the spiritual source  from which you came. Along the way, you have realized that this  means reaching out in spiritual service to mankind. Along the way, you have sensed that this giving of spiritual service is the very action which leads you along the pathway back to that from which you came.

By becoming your brother's keeper in a spiritual way, you become more at one with all people and the source from which we all came. Through service to others, you also serve your own spiritual development. By loving and healing them through the use of spiritual energy, you help the spiritually blind to see the light within, you help the spiritually deaf to hear the whisperings of their souls, and you help the spiritually numb to revitalize their connection with God.

By sending them your love, by sending them your light, by  helping them with this precious, spiritual energy of love and  light, you heal their hearts, you heal their spirits, you heal  their long-suffering souls, and you help them back onto the one great path back to Source, which we all yearn to tread.

That path is the road to reconnection to the Spirit within. That path is the one which brings you into conscious contact with the light within. That path is the reason you are here, the reason you chose to be born into a world where people feel disconnected from that very Source.

The details of how that path unfolds are unique for every  individual. We all tread this path in our own way to reach the  common goal of reconnection with the flame of the Spirit which shines within our hearts. It is this flame which silently  beckons us on. It is this flame which lights the darkness in a  world of great suffering. It is this flame which connects our souls to the one Source of all things.

When you go into the silence of meditation, even for a few  moments, remember to end your session by helping the world. Dedicate your love and your light to world peace and freedom, then send this out from your heart into a world that  desperately needs energy in a spiritual form.

Life energy is everywhere. Spiritually-conditioned life energy is in short supply because few people take the time to  condition it with their intentions and send it out to heal the  world. Once you condition the energy of life with love and  light and send it out to the world, it reverberates within the  global mind atmosphere of humanity, healing and uplifting many people. Its higher frequency imbues it with enormous power relative to the regular, everyday thoughts of mankind. The power of spiritual energy is such that it affects, not one, but hundreds of people at the same time.

Every time you send out love and light in dedication to world  peace and freedom for all, you help hundreds of people to see life and its possibilities from a higher perspective.

When you intentionally heal the world in this way, you help  many people who are not yet consciously aware of how to raise themselves up spiritually. These are people who are relying upon the enlightened vision of people like you, so that they may be helped in taking the next step into higher  consciousness. So that they may be comforted and healed. So that they may gain their own conscious inner reconnection to the one Spirit from which they once came, so long ago, in the mists of time.

Universal Oneness

The Way of Oneness - You are not one of many.  You are really many of ONE! The determination of what is real is a matter of perception rather than existence.  Everything exists, but not everything is perceived.  Our senses are not windows to an "objective universe."  They are really filters, blocking the conscious mind from noticing what we have no desire to see.  "OUT THERE" exists an infinite storehouse of possibilities.  That is because "out there" we find the All That Is.  There is a difference between All That Is and you.  That's what being in physical form is about---an adventure called Separation.

Each person is the creator of his or her personal universe.  Uni=one. Individual perception is the essence of creation.  When we speak of "reality," we are referring to a collaboration of images, to which some person has attached personal meaning.  When two or more individuals agree on what is before them, they form a consensus of reality---which is like two uni-verses parked along side each other in a drive-in movie.   In my personal universe, you reflect a part of me.  In your creation, I reflect a part of you.  "What you see is what you get" still applies, of course.  However, there is so much more to each of us that anyone sees (including ourselves).  That's why we have a physical world.  We use physicality to explore what is.

Oneness is not a social program.  It's as personal and individual as anything can get.  It's more than politics, more than religion, more than philosophy.  It's an *event,* and it's happening NOW, in the lives and hearts of many.

We didn't create our personal "something" from nothing.  Rather, we cut and pasted it from *everything* ---reaching into the vastness of the Multiverse, which is filled with sounds, symbols, and images ---and then filtering out all those things that we did not wish to study or which we found irrelevant to our immediate purpose.  Until now, this process of PERSONAL CREATION has been largely a subconscious one.  Now, with the clarion call for Reconnection going out on many frequencies of Earth Consciousness, this subconscious process is now being remembered, understood, and owned by a growing number of ascending individuals on the planet.

"Reality........... Is like an enormous crystal. Every form, every possible expression, is but a facet of that same one Jewel. Within its own context, each aspect appears complete and whole. Yet each flicker of brightness,  like pieces of a huge puzzle, reaches beyond its horizon to someday join with that Greater Light......

Oneness and the Unified Field

Almost universally, ancient texts and traditions say to us, in the language of their time, that we are part of all that we see, that we are related through a Force to the events of our world, to one another, to the processes within our bodies and the Cosmos and beyond. In our most sacred traditions, this Force is described as all-powerful, something that permeates all of Creation. It's not "out there" somewhere. It is a part of ourselves as well as a part of all that we perceive.

Now Western science, beginning in about 1993, through accredited academic and scientific institutions, has performed experiments with unexpected — and in some cases very surprising — results, experiments demonstrating that the ancient tenets appear to be true. In these experiments, the only way that the curious and bizarre behavior of nature and particles in the subatomic world, the quantum world, could be explained was if those particles were all connected through a previouisly unrecognized Force.

So what's happening right now, in the early years of the 21st Century, is that Western science is moving toward accepting the ancient idea of this unity field that links all of Creation.

Some scientists are calling this field Nature's Mind. Some scientists are calling it the Mind of God (a famous name given to it by Stephen Hawking in his book A Brief History of Time.) Many researchers now are calling it the Quantum Hologram.

This unity field, this Quantum Hologram, responds to the things that we do and the way we think and feel. It allows us as individuals to participate in the events of our lives rather than feeling hopeless as we stand by and watch the world teeter on the brink of war, or watch our loved ones succumb to illness and diseases that we really don't understand.

Western scientists now not only identify this field, but they give it characteristics. They say that this field appears to be everywhere, all the time, a form of energy that's already present rather than being generated in one place and transmitted somewhere else. It's everywhere all the time and appears to have been with us since Creation began, what physicists called the "Big Bang."

So it's always been here, it's everywhere all the time, and it also appears to have what Western scientists are now calling "intelligence." It appears to be an intelligent field in that it responds to the language of coherent human emotion. Except for the language, this field sounds very similar to what the ancients called God.

Coherent Emotion


The language the Unified Field seems to speak is that of coherent emotion. What's incoherent emotion? It's the kind of emotion we experience when we are feeling one way, thinking another way, and expressing something different from either our thoughts or our feelings.

Let's say for example we come to work on a Monday morning and we just had a terrible weekend with our family, and we've lost a loved one. Life has not gone very well, and we're feeling all that on one level. And a co-worker asks us how our weekend was, and we answer, "Oh, it was fine."

Because we don't want to talk about it, we end up blocking ourselves from having a coherent feeling and a coherent emotion. We're not being honest, so we do not have our emotions aligned with our thoughts, feelings, and expression.

Coherent emotion happens when what we are thinking, feeling, and expressing are all in alignment. When we have coherent emotion, it can be measured and documented that there also are effects that extend beyond our bodies.

For example, if we prayed for our loved one to be healed, but we were thinking it probably wasn't going to happen, and feeling fear of loss, then that prayer would not be speaking the "language" of the Quantum Hologram.

But in the same example, if we feel and think that our loved one is already healed — or in the example of praying for peace, that peace already exists in our world — that triggers a series of processes in our bodies.

First, it creates a chemical shift, a shift in the pH levels, i.e., the alkalinity and the acidity in our blood stream. And it changes the hormonal levels of our body. The life-affirming hormone precursor DHEA, for example, increases over 100 percent in our bodies in the space of only six hours in the presence of coherent emotions of appreciation and gratitude.

By contrast, the life-depleting hormones like cortisol, the stress hormone, decrease over 23 percent in that same six hours in the presence of incoherent emotion.

So we know that emotion is triggering processes within our bodies. And now we know that those processes have quantum effects that extend beyond our bodies into our families, into our communities, into the societies that surround us. So it is through coherent emotion that we affect the Unified Field, or the Consciousness Grids, in a purposeful way.

The Need for Personal Change - If we are the Earth, if we are the Force, it follows that when Earth goes through changes — for example, when the magnetics of the Earth change, or if we have a polar reversal — our bodies are going to change, as well.


In other words, these kinds of changes are having direct effects upon our perceptions of space and time, upon our relationships, our romances, our careers, our sleep patterns, and how we view ourselves in relation to one another. All of those things are affected by changes in the Earth.

And I think most of my readers will agree that each of us is experiencing, at least to some degree, changes in our personal lives, right now, that are reflecting the kinds of changes that are going on in the Earth at large.

And further, in the language of the ancients and our most cherished spiritual traditions, faith moves us into a "space," where we can affect the forces of Nature around us and bring about the kinds of changes in our world that we call miracles.

Or as Western science would put it, coherent human emotion produces a chemical change in our bodies, and that chemical change has quantum effects that extend beyond our bodies and bring about changes in our physical world (and now it's no longer a "miracle").

But if we were going to make a flow chart of these two ways of describing what happens, the flow chart would be the same for the scientific and the traditional world view.

In the Essene texts and in the Hebrew and the Christian texts, the way that this is described is that when thought, feeling, and emotion become one — in other words, when they are all aligned — then we say to the mountain, "Move!" and the mountain moves.

The Realms of Oneness

The Truth Has Set You Free!

Greetings comrades, warriors and diligent bearers of light! Welcome to a new realm of your infinite expansion. Blessings from on high.

Today we gather to share a most auspicious occasion, one of extraordinary accomplishment. There is much joy in the expanded realms for the light on earth has exceeded our expectations gloriously. Victorious are those who have held the light in noble ways.

We come to share that there is an opening, a portal for arrival into the realms of oneness for all who aspire to rejoice in the grace and beauty of a new earth. We too are rejoicing at the accomplishments of so many warriors of light here to pave the way and make a path for all who care to follow you into the expanded realms of infinity. Glory be for those who walked this path first and in blind faith of what laid before you. Truly, you are the warriors and undoubtedly this path has been challenging.

Each of you who chose this arduous journey into unity came to earth with a motivation, a desire to uplift all who embody this great planet. You chose to create new portals and pathways to open the possibilities for all who wish to follow in your very courageous footsteps. Because of your achievements there is a light shining brightly around earth and there is hope for all inhabitants upon her.

Now as you traverse the many opportunities that exist in the higher realms, you will be in a position to see the world around you with loving and compassionate eyes. Your hearts, wider than ever, will enable you to embrace the infinite glory of being hu-man. The glory that eluded you for so long and the promises made by the voices in your heart are now a choice, not only for you, but for all who choose it.

Beloved friends, the ramifications of your diligence may elude you now, but we assure you that you will understand the many challenges that you triumphed and the rewards of your efforts. The light that shines so brightly on earth is coming straight from the heart of each of you and every soul who sees a better way.

In the days before you many will be called to new levels of service. These services are the joyous creations that you have strived for, the heartfelt desires of the soul. The endeavors of the soul are the most fulfilling and the ability to ground them is readily available now that the new earth is anchored and in place. You may notice that only a short time ago you wondered how your thoughts of a better world would come to be? How your simple ideas would stick in a world so full of discord and chaos?

This has changed and simple will be the new way. Your inspirations now have a footing in these new energies and these creations are the necessary foundation for a new world in the making. This time in your lives is to be created for and by you and for the good of all. What a joyous time is at hand!

Many wonder how the disparate parts of the whole can rejoin after centuries of separation and discord. We assure you that there has been enough suffering and strife for the whole to realize that there is a better way. Stewardship will be represented by union and shared intention for the highest and you are the front brigade to this new and unfamiliar journey.

Gather yourselves, hone your focus. The very heart of your deepest desires has guided you to the precipice of this journey. From this height you can see the very fabric of creation. Take note, for this view is what you will share with the world to come, for very few have embarked upon the path to such heights capable of seeing the cosmic interplay of divine union. Those who can clearly see for miles into the future will have the vantage point of such clarity from pure heart.

All around you will be opportunity never before considered. Opportunity to create a better world and to bestow a better life for you and those you love. These opportunities you may find were beside you all along, though only now the light has switched on for you to see the interconnectivity of it all.

Simple but profound changes abound. A newness for life is merely in the shift of perception, and perception is the projection by which your reality is cast unto the canvas of creation. New perceptions come from deep shifts in consciousness and shifts in consciousness stem from the clearing of many distorted realities. The truth has set you free!

These new perceptions, rooted in the truth of your very being, have cellular consequences as well. Changes in your biology are a natural byproduct of the upward spiral of connectivity. You may find beneficial changes in your body and your environment as the new waves of frequency mold your idyllic living conditions in this very new space.

The vibratory alterations to your cellular form are causing great internal shifts, some of which are uncomfortable and taxing. These changes are required to enable you to live in harmony will all levels of your multidimensional nature. Allow these changes to alter you without judgment and you will find reprieve. The results are well worth the challenge for you are aligning with your original blueprint designed for perfect and lasting health.

The glory days arrive, the ebb and flow of energies merge into oneness and the result will be the balance necessary for your new creations. We leave you with one thought to ponder… What will you contribute to the very fabric of creation in the new earth?
