we are resting up from all of our fall/winter touring...thanks to everyone who came out to our u.s. and european shows...we made so many new friends, and we cannot wait to get back out to you again!
so, our plans for the spring...
we are continually working on our next record, "History"....this work will continue throughout the spring...this will be our 10 year anniversary release, so we are putting everything we have into it.
there are U.S. and European tours in the works for late spring and early summer...

hello everyone...
thank you to all who came out on our short tour out to the forecastle festival and back...it was a great time, and we are already looking forward to seeing you all again.
we are taking a couple of months off to finish our next record, History...then back on the road in late october/november in the states...then off to europe in late november/december....

Our wonderful friend Jarett Ferratusco(Corpse On Pumpkin), author of the great "Please Dont Leave Me", and possibly the best damn photographer i have ever come across has written a tour blog of his experiences on the last Unwed Sailor tour across the United States.
i highly recommend it...you will laugh, cry, and probably want to start a band.

so, we just got back from our 5 week tour with Sybris...it was one hell of a ride, and we will never forget it! Sybris is a truly great band, and i highly recommend seeing them live and buying their records...
now to the future...
we are playing some dates in the south in july, along with making an appearance at the forecastle festival in louisville, kentucky.
Tortoise, Extra Golden, and Snowden will also be playing!
We are taking august off...then back on the road in september with the Pygmalion Festival in Champaign, Illinois. You can also check out the great Yo La Tengo at the Pygmalion festival!
October will hold more east coast and midwest dates....then overseas in November....
