IT’LL START THURSDAY 5TH OF JUNE 2008, FROM LONDON, THE SECOND VERDENA UK TOUR

After touring last week supportino MGMT and Deportivo thru ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />..Switzerland.. & ..France.., Verdena will start their second ....UK.... tour...:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />....

Verdena is a three piece rock force.....

They've toured internationally with the likes of MGMT, Biffy Clyro, Dredg, Young Gods, Ocean Size & others…....

They've recorded four album.....

Their last one, Requiem, has been released in ..Europe.......

Their music is a perfect mix of psychedelic stuff, post grunge and pop, put all together in a rageous punky wall of sound.....

INIZIA SABATO 24/05/08 DA STRASBURGO,COME SUPPORTER DI MGMT, IL TOUR EUROPEO DEI VERDENA...

IN ITALIA DAL 19 AL 22 GIUGNO 2008....

QUATTRO DATE… A OSTIA, TREZZO D'ADDA, PRATO, VERONA....

....

E' quasi definito il tour europeo dei Verdena.....

In attesa di confermare le ultime date in Gran Bretagna (a quelle annunciate qui di seguito se ne aggiungeranno altre due o tre), e dopo aver confermato un'altra data in Italia (il 22 giugno a Verona), Verdena si apprestano a iniziare il tour.....

Tour che partirà da Starsburgo sabato 24 maggio 2008. ....

In questa occasione, così come il giorno dopo a Zurigo, la band suonerà di spalla a MGMT (uno dei gruppi più chiacchierati del momento, band americana che ha appena pubblicato il bellissimo Oracular Spectacular; www.myspace.com/mgmt).....

Le date italiane qui annunciate saranno le uniche in Italia. Verdena infatti stanno scrivendo e registrando brani per il nuovo disco.

There is some news about the concerts abroad: live in Cahors,on May 30, is cancelled.

Verdena will be on stage in ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Tarbes on May, 30, c/o La Gespe (http://www.lagespe.com/).

Moreover, we know some other details in the matter of the date in the Eurofoot Project Festival context.

Partirà il 29 maggio da Avignone, in Francia, il tour europeo dei Verdena.
Un tour che li vedrà impegnati in diverse date in Francia, Inghilterra e Svizzera.
Dopo Avignone Verdena suoneranno a Cahors e Lione, come support al gruppo francese Deportivo (http://www.myspace.com/deportivoofficial).
Dopo il mini tour in Francia sono previste diverse date in Inghilterra.
Al momento è confermata la data del 14 giugno, al Borderline di Londra.
Il 16 giugno sarà la volta della data a Ginevra, Svizzera, all’interno dell’Eurofoot Festival .
Sempre in Svizzera si chiuderà il tour europeo, il 28 giugno a Biel.

Annullate le due date precedentemente annunciate a Bari e allo Sziget Festival.
Nel frattempo i Verdena stanno scrivendo nuovi brani per il prossimo album. Molto probabile, come è consuetudine della band, che i nuovi pezzi vengano "testati" dal vivo durante questo tour.
Tra il 16 giugno e la data conclusiva del tour europeo si sta cercando di organizzare due o tre date anche in Italia.
Aggiornamenti sulle altre date in Inghilterra e in Italia a breve…

ULTIMA DATA DEL REQUIEM TOUR DOMENICA 16 DICEMBRE @ GARAGE

Durante la serata verrà presentato in anteprima il video di "Isacco Nucleare" vincitore del concorso organizzato da QOOB in collaborazione con i Verdena.

Dopo il tour europeo e le oltre 80 date in Italia, domenica 16 dicembre si chiude al Garage di Milano il Requiem tour dei Verdena.
La scelta di un club piccolo è stata decisa dagli stessi Verdena, che vogliono terminare il tour con un concerto in cui stare il più a stretto contatto possibile con il pubblico.

Durante la serata verrà presentato il video del loro brano "Isacco nucleare" vincitore del concorso lanciato a ottobre da QOOB, il progetto multimediale di Telecom Italia Media e Mtv Italia, e chiuso il 10 dicembre a conclusione del progetto Italian Video Revolution.

Il live dei Verdena verrà ripreso dalle telecamere di QOOB e mandato in onda sul canale digitale a mezzanotte del 24 dicembre, insieme al video vincitore di "Isacco Nucleare".

Il concerto, che inizierà alle 22.00 al Garage (via Marelli 280, Sesto San Giovanni (MI), sarà ad ingresso gratuito ma esclusivamente a inviti, da richiedere mandando una mail a concorsi@lunatik.it da lunedì 10 dalle 10 alle 14 e a qoob@mtvne.com a partire da oggi. Sarà inoltre possibile vincere alcuni accrediti sul sito mtv.it da venerdì 7 a domenica 12 dicembre, inviando una mail a sito@mtvne.com, oppure seguendo il programma Your Noise su Mtv Italia ogni giorno alle ore 18 da lunedì 10 a venerdì 14 dicembre.

VERDENA ON TOUR IN ENGLAND

After the german tour supporting BIFFY CLYRO Verdena will have three gigs in London.

The first one @ Bar Fly with other three bands; MAB, Everything On Black and Elixir. Monday 26^th November.

Wednesday 28^th will play @Water Rats with MGMT + Wojtek Godzisz
