Current mood: anxious

Me and my husband have just come back from our one month trip to Taiwan, the main reason that we went on the trip, was to complete my mother's wish to have our wedding reception done, which should have been done before we moved to Canada, and to take amazing wedding photo's in a studio in Taiwan.
In Taiwanese tradition, wedding photos are taken before the wedding; It might be odd compared to western wedding customs, but it's perfectly normal for Taiwanese who attended the wedding reception to come in and see the wonderful wedding photo album and pictures when they arrive, and take a few business card size photos home as well.
The wedding photos always turn out amazing! If you have seen any before from a Taiwanese friend, I bet it was somewhat different seeing the variety of dresses, and suits and traditional outfits from Asian countries. A typical wedding photo studio has professional make up and hair styling artists, personal photographer and assistants, studios with auto background switches, and the option to bring the whole team to a beach or a sunflower field, etc to pre-take wedding photos, it all depends how you want your dreams to come true when it comes to personalizing you're photos.
And the most incredible part is the price; you can have customized photos for done under $1500 Canadian dollars. Which will include two albums, two enlarge pictures with frames, post cards and business card sized photos, lots of them; Accessories and dresses that you'll need for your banquet, you can get even lower price or more complimentary items and photos if you're good at negotiating.
My cousin and one of my friends who married some Americans, they crossed the Pacific Ocean to do their wedding photos in Taiwan after getting married. Just like us. More and more people will see those pictures, and Taiwanese who marry foreigners will show the highly professional quality of doing personal wedding photos in Taiwan. In some western coastal cities like Vancouver and Seattle, you can even find Taiwanese style wedding photo companies now! The word is spreading, and the professional quality of personal photos done just like they are in Taiwan is starting to be more global.

Finally, our flights have been comfirmed, we're leaving for Taiwan on July 24th, we'll stay in Seoul on July 25th for one night, and arrive Taipei at noon on July 26th. Our wedding reception will be on August 18th, before that, we will have our wedding pictures done, I'm really looking forward to it!
I haven't written in English on my blog for a while, I really should have tried harder to improve my writing.

At the beginning of 2007, my permanent resident stutas has been granted, my PR card is on the way, everything seems fine now, but I start worrying about finding jobs, I don't think that my English is good enough to work as a front desk clerk at hotels, I'll try for sure, hopefully someone will hire me, otherwise I have to do a job that I don't like, wish me luck!

It's good to be back,
but I still miss my family in Taiwan,
I had a wonderful trip,
Thanks to my family and all my friends.

Soon I'll be the home that I dream of,
I can't wait to tell my family and friends,
but it ends up getting more "mission",
mission of buying cigarettes for that friend,
mission of bring chocolate or that friend's father,
mission of carrying text books for that friend's brother,
what about my own family and my closer firends?
I want to do get something for them too,
and my suitcase fill with requests of yours.
I don't like this feel of going home.
