Underground recordings                                        08-02-2006

Personally I have never had to much with the underground scene. Usually the people who claim to love underground culture and music are as narrow-minded as your average fundamentalistic Christian. The only underground I really dig is our studio.....cause that bitch is 16,40 feet underground. Alex used to have a studio in Germany and after our initial recordings we broke it down and have since two week rebuild it in the Netherlands under the house of Mich. For some reason we always build our studios in sellers and this one aint no exception. Alex and I have sworn that our next studio will be one with daylight and fresh air cause half the time we feel like we have been up ducted and thrown in a seller with very little to eat awaiting rape and murder....all this is great for the recording vibe!! (Although being 5,00 meters underground does have is positive sides, for example if Iran gets its bomb we are safe and sound) All this obviously means we are recording.

We have decided to records a couple of extra songs as for promotional use, together with the footage we shot at the last gigs it should make a great package.  We already have two albums full of material in the computer but thats almost a year old and like all musician we like our new stuff best so thats what we need to record.

I spend a couple of days last week with our friends (and your friends) Electric Eel Shock in their more or less native London. I watched them play at the underworld and they tore the place apart. Its such a joy seeing these guys doing what they are doing. ( I think they are in Japan now.  It also seems to me more and more people seem to know all the lyrics to the songs which means they have bought the album if you dont have it, it's called Beat Me and its in your local music store or order it true the internet (www.electriceelshock.com)

As for our own live shows, we have some coming up which we will annaounce in the next few days check back at www.wastedtheband.com or here at myspace!. We have some good stuff coming up!!!
