We always welcome your articles!  Whispers of Spirit includes regular columns by local Minneapolis-St Paul healers, lightworkers, practitioners, artists, as well as national and international contributors.  The topics we cover are anything that is heart-centered, holistic, spiritual, transformational, or metaphysical, and our readers especially love personal stories that they can relate to about your life or spiritual path.  If you are an artist we occasionally have space on the cover for artwork.
 
We welcome your submissions for articles at any time!

Online in '09! 
 
As of January 2009, Whispers of Spirit will be an ONLINE ONLY metaphysical magazine! 
 
We are THRILLED about this new change, and we feel this is a great step forward for Whispers of Spirit.  It was not an easy decision because we know so many of you love the printed format, but intuitively it feels like the right time to move even more into the world wide web to grow worldwide and to allow us to utilize new media venues such as video and networking.

The publication is STAYING THE SAME, just moving to ONLINE only as a magazine.  The online version will keep the same format (wth some new changes listed below), with the same advertising options (but cheaper!), and MORE great articles.  It will just be available in an online MAGAZINE format instead of printed.  The December issue is the LAST print issue!

THANK YOU to everyone who attended, exhibited, gave workshops, volunteered, and supported the 4th annual Whispers of Spirit Expo!!!!!  It was a stupendous day (despite the first "snow" of the season), the new space at the Earle Brown Heritage Center got rave reviews (very light & clear), and people were making great new connections with friends and practitioners.  Our attendance was up slightly (450-ish), and considering its a new location we were happy that we didn't go below last year's attendance.  We are so grateful to everyone, because YOU make the expo the beautiful creation that it is, and we would not exist without you.

Your Surroundings and their Effect on You: Clearing Negative Influences from Your Home, Land & Workplace

We will explore what you sense in your surroundings, what has a positive influence on you and what has a negative influence.  Clearing negative influences allows you to have the quality of life you deserve.  At any given location, you may experience negative influences as a lack of energy, sadness, heaviness or depression.  Other experiences are having a feeing of foreboding, cloudy thinking, unexplained events such as door closings, sounds, or smells, or having the sense that someone or something is watching you.  Some causes of these negative influences are ghost haunting, energy centers on your land, and other spirit influences.  Most of these can be adjusted to reduce or eliminate the effects they have on you.  Solutions include clearing the land and buildings and adjusting energy patterns in the land through having a conversation with the land, ghosts, and buildings.  In solving these problems we honor the spirits of hte land and previous inhabitants.  Tom will guide you through identifying a problem location in your home, land, or workplace and having a dialog with it, thus working toward a solution. Tom Guyette has experience with clearing land, buildings, and energy blocks in clients' bodies which are sometimes related to their surroundings.  Tom has helped earthbound spirits cross over.

How to Heal Toxic Thoughts
