For those of you who do not already know, our beloved dog, Sir Ranulf, died on April 2nd. I am sorry for not writing sooner on this, but things have been so hectic, i just wasn't able to do so before now. Needless to say, and yet i will say it, we are very saddened by his loss, especially my g/f Corrinne.  Thanks for all the love and support from those who have helped us get through this difficult time.

Sadly none of my submissions made it into Issue 11, but I am not letting that stop me from trying again for one of the themes in issue 12. Thank you to all of you that made the effort to go, and vote for my last submissions. It really means a lot to me to have your support.

With that in mind, please go and vote for my submission to the "Creative license" theme, P Loop. If you haven't already created an account there, it will only take a couple of minutes, and there are no long profiles, or forms to fill in to register, just a few basic fields, and then you can vote for my submission, and show your support. Having my submission for this theme selected would be huge, as the theme is sponsored by Adobe. The voting is open for 35 days, and I am asking all my friends, and family to help.

I just posted some new long exposure photos to the Experimental And Abstract sub-album in The WickdArts Design Gallery earlier today. I improved on an effect I had gotten last set, and have some wild new ones using a new toy.

I have some more that need to be scanned, and processed which will complete this set.

Two samples to whet your appetite.. View the rest using the links located above. Check back there in a few days to see the rest.

There are only seven days left to help me out by going and voting on my Submissions at JPG Magazine for the upcoming issue. I need every vote to have a chance to get my submission published. There are two entries at my Blogger blog, WickdArts: Vote For My Photo essay and WickdArts: Vote For Me which have a little more info, and the fancy scripted image links that take you directly to the voting pages. Or you can just go directly to those the pages at JPG Mag via the following links, and vote from there: http://www.jpgmag.com/stories/790

Bought a refurbished Dell XPS 410. It's kinda basic, no souped up video, sound cards or the such, but the core is a huge step up from my current system. One main downside is it came loaded with Vista, which after 5 min is gonna get removed.

I had to order a floppy drive, and a dvd-rom to have two opticals for it which should be here tomorrow.

Then it is the not so fun process of flattening it, installing XP, and all my apps, and then transferring all my data, and shit from the old one. While I am not looking forward to the work, am looking forward to having a better system, esp one that only cost $500. It's not what I would have done if I could have bought/built what I want, but it is a good interim step, and will keep me able to working.

Am giving the old computer to my daughter, as she has nothing, so it will be a big step up from that for her.
