It only takes a moment to watch a butterfly glide gracefully on gossamer wing across the blue of sky.

But oh, the sheer enjoyment that such a moment brings; its beauty lifts my spirts high - all day my glad heart sings.

It only takes a moment to give a friendly smile, to pay a lovely compliment or share a thought worthwhile.

Yet, little acts of kindness can cheer some soul along, and plant within a lonely heart a joyous, vibrant song.

As the days become colder I begin to draw into my inside domain and leave my plants and other outdoor activities to those with more robust energy. For me, a lazy evening by the fireplace with a warm cup of cocoa or hot cup of coffee is the ideal place to be when it is cold.  I have relocated my sewing area to a corner of my living room where I can enjoy the fireplace and TV whilst I sew away.  I have several projects for Christmas gifts designed on paper. Have to start soon or I will never finish.  Right now the Renaissance Faire in Mobile, AL is consuming all my time and energy.

There is something enchanting about Autumn which stirs my very soul. All of earth is alive with color and the harvest moon hangs low. The lustrous sunshine brings a warmth as it rises o'er picturesque hills.  Night air seems to crystallize and brings a crispy chill.

Mother Nature is most generous to grace us with her show through the colorful Autumn wonder before the Winter's winds and snow.

-----I love this time of year with the changing of the leaves and the air. Gives a briskness to each day and a new show of ever changing colors. Live each day fully as it will not come again.

Life is great! Another beautiful day in Florida. I just celebrated my 65th birthday. I have been blessed with a wonderful family of two children and two grandchildren.  I enjoy being with them whenever possible.  It is starting to cool down a little so the days are more enjoyable outside. I love sitting on my porch swing. From there I can see my entire front yard and all that grows and goes. Once in a while I see a rabbit run through. Not so many squirrels since Ivan took all our trees but still a pleasant view.

Enjoy every day as each day is a new beginning of life.
