A-Muse-Ing

by Willa Okati

"A-Muse-Ing" at Loose Id LLC

Harper's an uptight, writer's-blocked storyteller working on an impossible deadline, who needs some inspiration and some zest in his life before he implodes. He desperately needs some personal attention and the TLC of a muse. Lucky for him, he finds one. In his kitchen. Naked and energetic, andhungry to be used - in every way possible.

It takes a little doing, but the muse, Rory, convinces Harper he's not having a psychotic break with reality. Then he proceeds to turn Harper's life upside-down and inside-out, with his blazing creative energy and spicy nights between the sheets (or on the floor, or in the shower, and once or twice in public). Trouble is, Rory's only on loan. Once Harper finishes his masterwork, he has to go back.

If Harper doesn't want the amazing man he's come to love to be taken away from him, he's going to have to find inspiration on his own to figure out how to bend the rules.

Good morning, gentlefolk!

A new title is available in eBook this week, and I feel like a kitten purring in the sunshine after spending hours tangled up joyfully in yarn and catnip. There are some stories that tap at my soul and my mind, demanding to be written. Won't let me go until I do. This is one of them.

Night Owl

After serving his country in the Armed Forces, Taj knows that family, home, and love are the greatest gifts a man can have. He's in search of a lover who'll be his everything, someone he can cherish and who'll stand strong by his side.

Instead, Alder finds him.

An owl who takes the form of a man, Alder's exotic, affectionate, passionate and loyal. Taj could never have imagined anyone he'd love more and vows his fidelity to Alder until the end of time. Even when Alder loses his wings and can no longer fly in the shape of an owl, Taj stands fast, refusing to let his man give up. Whatever he has to do to help Alder fly again… he won't hesitate.

Semper Fidelis. They aren't just words. They're a way of life, and the foundation of a love that'll last forever.

Night Owl

Willa

I love dragons! Whether majestic or scary, powerfully-bodied and mighty or sinuous and lithe, whether kindly or curious or wondering if you're crunchy and taste good with ketchup (okay, maybe not then...) dragons captivate the heart, soul, imagination and make you wonder what if there are noble beasts out there waiting to carry us away to fabled lands and wondrous adventures?

And if they're the amorous sort of dragon, all the better, yeah?

Another new release! Second in the "Dragon" series at Changeling Press, Dragon's Delight is a story of mistaken identity and a lonely dragon in search of his soul mate, who refuses to give up on love and fights for the human that delights his heart.

"A veteran of the war in search of a hero's welcome, Collin finds himself S.O.L. The man he could have fallen in love with didn't come home with him, and Collin's left without a direction. What does a soldier do when the fight's over?

Why, he finds a new challenge. Or, in this case, a challenge finds him. One of the mysterious dragons that appeared during the war to circle the skies snatches Collin from his home and carries him to the dragon lands. The dragon, Zacharei, claims he's "returning" Collin to his dragon lord. But how can this be, when Collin's never visited in the first place?

Collin begins to understand when Zacharei leaves him with "his" dragon, Avalier, a beast who's the exact duplicate of Nyas -- and who thinks Collin is his "Kay-lin," a doppelganger who disappeared during Avalier's own last battle. Mistaken identity has never been this sexy -- and a mix-up has never been so perfect a solution for the lonely hearts of two soldiers."

I'm delighted to announce that Forever Today is now available at Loose Id, LLC.

Genre: LGBT Erotic contemporary

Length: Novel

Rick knows better than anyone that no one can change the past. He's made his way to Italy to try to escape bitter memories and thinks he's found someone to soothe the sting: Adriano, tall and lean, laughing and generous. He probably could have a happy life with Adriano, but Rick isn't an easy man to live with. His best attempts just aren't good enough, driving Adriano away. Their story, however, is just beginning.

When Adriano loses his memories of the past and can no longer create new memories, living in a state of mind where it's "forever today," Rick seizes his chance to change the past. He doesn't realize just how hard the past will rise up to bite him...

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: anal play/intercourse, male/male sexual situations.

Once again attempting to figure out the arcane mysteries of navigating MySpace. I've tidied away broken links and added lovely new art courtesy of Anne Cain.

Time to blog. Looking forward to hopefully conquering the techno-mystery and chatting with folk!
