Apollo Astronaut Demands Release of "Saucer Secrets"

S. government to disclose to its citizens and other Earthlings what he asserts are the realities of long-standing extraterrestrial visitations and interactions with our planet. Speaking this morning at "X-Conference 2009" in Gaithersburg, MD, a suburb of the nation's capital, Mitchell told several hundred attendees and a phalanx of video cameras that, with our planet confronting population pressures and critical questions of environmental and energy sustainability, the need for disclosure about extraterrestrial involvement with Earth is critical. Mitchell contends that the dispersal of knowledge about what he believes to be the end of Earth's apparent quarantine from other civilizations, and advancement of planetary culture beyond its present fragmentation and incoherence, are desirable results of the widest public release of information about the extraterrestrial presence he believes is real. The conference, organized by long-time "UFO Disclosure" activist and one-time Maryland congressional candidate Stephen Bassett, centers on an emergent field of cultural reconsideration its advocates term "Exopolitics." Basset's nonprofit Paradigm Research Group has mounted a decade-long broad spectrum campaign advocating disclosure of what he says are unwarranted secrets about "UFOs" and "ETs" held over as unnecessary "Cold War paranoia." Questions of "What do we do and say after we say 'Hello!' to ET?" remain distant from wider public consideration, let alone consensus about their implications for national sovereignty, religious traditions and global policy formulation, discussions about which conference organizers and presenters are intent on provoking. Mitchell, Bassett and other "ET disclosure" activists are banking on President Barack Obama's repeated assurances that government agencies withholding information from US citizens are "on notice," in the President's words, that an era of unnecessary secrecy is over. Obama has said his administration's tendency will be to unlock what he and senior officials consider information rightfully belonging to the public, while recognizing constraints required for national security, a presidential promise replayed on video at the conference to sustained applause by hopeful disclosure advocates. Mitchell said he believes such changes are essential for Earth to make progress through problems confronting humanity's competing needs, religious imperatives and cultural fragmentation. "We live in challenging, magnificent times," Mitchell said, emphasizing that, in his opinion, information that we are not alone in the universe -- and indeed, he said, that we here on Earth are having ongoing interactions with nonterrestrial beings -- may provide a key to consciousness changes he and his colleagues believe are necessary. Mitchell said he believes such changes are essential for Earth to make progress through problems confronting humanity's competing needs, religious imperatives and cultural fragmentation. His efforts since leaving NASA and the space program have been focused on exploring frontiers "of the mind, body and spirit," he said. Mitchell acknowledged that, before humanity can travel with practicality much beyond our own solar system, solutions to Einsteinian limitations to faster-than-light propulsion of our spacecraft must still be solved, a frontier the aging astronaut said he believes science eventually will do. But he stressed that our own limitations have not limited the extraterrestials he asserts are present on Earth. "The aliens have done it!" Mitchell said of an apparent ability to traverse what to us are insurmountable distances. He contends that as a result of wider public awareness of the ET presence, revisitation of much phenomenology catalogued in human history should precipitate revision of how we understand planetary history in light of what he believes are long-standing extraterrestrial interactions on Earth. The Cape Cod connection? The late Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John E. Mack, a former summer Cape dweller who studied and wrote about purported "ET alien abductions" in the early 1990s, and long-standing "ET abduction" researcher (and Provincetown resident) Budd Hopkins, a New York modern artist who has studied the phenomenon since his own "UFO" sighting in 1964, met each other at the Cape. They were introduced by a mutual friend, Dr. Robert Jay Lifton, the acclaimed psychiatrist and author, also at Harvard, who lives on the Cape. The astronaut, who told Cape Cod Today he was raised in a strict Baptist household, said reevaluations of source phenomena that led to Earth's major faiths, and which he said foster divisions among humans, might be another of the beneficial results of wider awareness of what Mitchell believes is the historical and ongoing "ET" presence and their asserted involvements in human development. Mitchell and his fellow explorers of what he has called the "Frontiers of Consciousness" have long contended that broader public awareness of the extraterrestrial presence and interactions the astronaut-scientist believes are reality could help promote a "global mind change." Mitchell and colleagues assert this could point us toward "planetary transformation," helping Earth's culture to mature sufficiently to gain entry into a wider community of civilizations for which they believe abundant evidence exists, now and throughout history, when viewed through a filter in which the claimed extraterrestrial presence is considered. Taking questions following his presentation, Mitchell told Cape Cod Today that his beliefs as expressed this morning about extraterrestrial involvements with humanity on Earth are drawn from information generally available to those who study the field of alleged "ET-UFO" events and experiences, citing no "secret information" to which he has been privy. He also contradicted some other presenters at X-Conference 2009, who claimed that Mitchell and the other NASA astronauts were briefed before their space flights about potential encounters with UFOs of an extraterrestrial nature and how to handle or disguise them from the public. He said unequivocally that this did not occur. In a previous private interview with Cape Cod Today, Mitchell also expressed skepticism about some of the more popular "UFO conspiracy lore," i.e., stories that NASA astronauts did not really visit the moon or that the space agency has been covering up satellite photographs of Mars purportedly showing evidence of past civilizations. "We had no briefings on UFOs during our astronaut training," Mitchell told the conference, suggesting that "human nature" tends to embellish and distort things about which there is insufficient information or which embody concepts disruptive of our respective world views. Mitchell said decades of "UFO disclosure" revelations, drawn principally from elderly military and nonmilitary folks claiming bits and pieces of the larger puzzle about what they believe really happened at Roswell, NM in 1947 He also acknowledged that the UFO field has often been the target of disinformation and intentional misinformation seedings throughout the years, some perhaps for legitimate national security reasons having to do with terrestrial aerospace research and development. But Mitchell's stance on NASA-centered conspiracy theories about "ET UFO" remained firm in the face of questions. "It was not mentioned during my career," he said, adding that he and his fellow spacefarers saw no evidence of space visitors on the back side of the Moon, another long-standing tale among the more cult-like cohorts of UFO faithful. Mitchell said decades of "UFO disclosure" revelations, drawn principally from elderly military and nonmilitary folks claiming bits and pieces of the larger puzzle about what they believe really happened at Roswell, NM in 1947, helped shape his belief that the event actually took place and was not, as the US Air Force claimed, a crash-test balloon. He cited what he described as the credibility of the witnesses and the coherence of their stories as influencing his belief in the reality of the ET scenario attendant to the Roswell event, which stems from a 1947 cover-story released in July of that year after a crash of some unspecified aircraft not far from Roswell Army Airfield (AAF). The next day the initial "recovered flying saucer" cover story issued by Roswell AAF public affairs staffers was countermanded by a senior Army Air Force commander, who said a "weather balloon" was what had crashed, pieces of which had been recovered. The story died for three decades until being resurrected in the early 1980s, eventually prompting a 1994 U. S. Air Force revision of their "official story," contending that the Roswell crash was of a "Mogul" project balloon of the type used for atmospheric monitoring to detect possible Soviet nuclear weapons tests. A subsequent version of the Air Force story was that the alleged "recovered alien bodies" endemic to some Roswell crashed saucer tales were, in reality, "crash test dummies" used for testing experimental high-altitude equipment for the U. S.'s growing strategic bomber forces. As is well known to worldwide "UFO" enthusiasts, the Air Force's efforts to defuse the Roswell story were in vain, and a host of alternative scenarios have persisted. These range from "ET crashed saucer recovery" to speculations that the event being camouflaged was human experimentation on unwitting subjects, in contravention of the then-recently adopted Nuremberg Protocols governing medical experimentation on humans following disclosure of Nazi concentration camp Holocaust horrors. Mitchell is among many former military officials and large numbers of US and world citizens who scoff at the Air Force "clarifications," citing what he says are the credibility of the witnesses and the coherence and consistency of their recollections, in his opinion, that an extraterrestrial craft indeed crashed and the event covered up for six decades. "What more do you need?" Mitchell declared, asserting that the Air Force's balloon stories are transparently false. Ironically, the future astronaut grew up in Roswell, NM, where his family had a ranch not far from the alleged crashed saucer site, although Mitchell said that at the time it happened, he had no firsthand experience or knowledge about it. But other space related research was going on at Roswell during Mitchell's youth, as rocket pioneer Robert Goddard had moved his research and testing program to Roswell in the 1930s and launched numerous experimental rockets. The youthful future astronaut was captivated by Goddard's efforts, which captured his imagination about possible travel away from Earth and to the stars. Mitchell also related that in 1945 he and his family's neighbors witnessed the bright, white flash over the horizon which signaled the advent of the atomic age with testing of the first nuclear weapon at the Trinity site. Mitchell said the bomb influenced him significantly when he later learned what it was and, much later, better understood its implications. Mitchell said he believes the nuclear explosion also may have attracted the extraterrestrial presence he believes resulted in the alleged ET aircraft collision which UFO researchers have claimed for three decades happened near Roswell, which is situated not far from where the nation's first nuclear weapon was detonated. "I have a sneaking suspicion that the reason for Roswell (as the alleged ET aircraft crash is euphemistically termed) was that the UFO phenomenon was drawn to our nuclear sites," Mitchell told the gathering. He said he is concerned about the tendencies of terrestrial governments and their militaries to stake claims and perhaps fly weapons in space, a concern Mitchell believes may be shared by the intervening extraterrestrials. Mitchell said that many years ago, after leaving NASA, he authored a manuscript advocating against militarization of space attendant to nationalistic colonization of the high frontier for military advantage or benefits other than for all of humankind. "I submitted it to thirty-four publishers, and all refused to publish it," Mitchell said. Why Do We Have Emotions?

Emotions are a major part of the Earth Game. We wanted to
experience duality, to see what it was like to be separate, limited,
and have physical bodies. We wanted to experience all the juicy, human
possibilities; to feel emotions, taste food, sing a song, ride a horse,
pet a cat, and make love. The problem is that we identify ourselves as being our
emotions. We say, "I am sad" or "I am frustrated". NOT TRUE! You are an
Infinite Being who is feeling an emotion. There is a belief that if you
have an emotion you become that emotion. If you feel shame it means
that there really is something wrong with you at a core level. There's
an unconscious belief that if we feel an emotion then it makes it real,
and it will never go away. Actually, the opposite is true, but we
aren't taught that.
We're at the end of the Earth Game of duality now. It is time
to release our judgments of what is good or bad and embrace the whole.
It isn't about only having the positive emotions and positive thoughts
in order to create a positive reality. It's not set up that way. In
order to fully experience joy, love and excitement, you must be willing
to equally fully experience sadness, anger and hopelessness. That's how
the Game was created.
The transition we are going through now is to be willing to
feel all the emotions fully while at the same time maintaining your
awareness of self as the Infinite Being playing the Earth Game. We're
remembering our multi-dimensionality. In her book Initiation, Elisabeth Haich wrote
about her experiences as a Priestess in Ancient Egypt and her
initiation process. They deliberately brought up strong emotions
(positive and negative). Ptahhotep is the Priest who taught her. He
explained emotions to her.

"My dear child," he begins, "initiation, as I have already explained
to you, means to become conscious on the highest level, the divine
plane. To be able to do this requires long physical training and
spiritual preparation. One first must strengthen the nerves to enable
them to bear these high vibrations without harm, without death.
To become conscious on a given plane means to conduct the
vibrations characteristic of this plane into the nerves and through the
nerves into the body. From the time a body is born, that is, from the
time a 'self' dwells in it, the body develops a power of resistance
corresponding to the average degree of consciousness of the spirit
dwelling in it.
The degree of consciousness of a living creature fluctuates up
and down, depending on its emotional condition, within the limits of an
octave of vibrations. These fluctuations, however, must not exceed the
limits of elasticity of the nerves; for if they do, injuries and
sicknesses of a more or less serious nature occur, even death. The
vibration belonging to a creative vital energy is absolutely lethal for
creatures whose consciousness has not yet reached this level.
The great initiation means consciously experiencing the vital
energy and creative vibrations of eternal being, experiencing these
vibrations on every plane of development and in their original
frequency, without transformation, and simultaneously conducting these
vibrations into the nerves and the body."

They began by intentionally producing emotional states by using dream pictures.

Once that was mastered they had to experience different
emotional states on command, without dream pictures, going from the
lowest to the highest.
Then they practiced fast changeovers from one emotional state to another.

The next step was to experience opposite emotional states, one
after the other, with no time lost for transition, shifting from deep
sadness to the highest hilarity, or from fear to self-assured courage.

"People believe that there always has to be a reason for their being
joyous or happy. Through the exercises with dream pictures we first
imagine we have a reason for being in one mood or another. Thus we
learn to control the reasons themselves! As we do not actually have a
reason, however, we have to imagine one.
Then comes the next step of experiencing an emotional state by
itself, without a reason. After long practice, we discover we have
always imagined we had a reason form being 'sad' or 'joyous',
'depressed' or 'exuberant' etc. Through these exercises we thus become
convinced that events and occurrences in our lives must not have any
effect on us. We discover that every state of consciousness arises —
and can only arise — within ourselves. The same event can provoke one
person to laughter and another to tears, while a third remains
completely indifferent; all because each is merely projecting outwardly
his own inward attitude, and it is only the inner attitude which
provokes our response, not the external events themselves."

 

Life is Meaningless:

An event occurs and emotion is felt. The mind creates a meaning
based on past experiences. A woman greets her husband when he returns
home from work. He says, "I don't want to talk right now," and walks
away. Her empathic system feels his anger. Then her mind creates a
meaning; perhaps she thinks, "He's mad at me. What did I do to cause
that? Was it because I was too tired to have sex last night? He said he
understood but maybe he is really angry." This brings up a past
experience when her lover had sex with her best friend and all the
fear, shame and anger she felt about that. Not to mention that it ended
her relationship. This can happen in just a few moments.

Now the strategies kick in. These are different from person to person and could include:

• Telling herself that she's being silly (over reacting) and distracting herself with something else.
  
• Seeking her spouse and trying to get him to talk with her
  (most likely about something else, or without really addressing her
  feelings honestly).
  
• Creating a plan to "win him back", perhaps a special meal or
  deciding that she must have sex tonight, regardless of how she feels
  (adding resentment to the mix).
  

All of this is made up. Her mind created a meaning that may have
nothing to do with what's really happening. Every event is basically
neutral. Different people with react in different ways to the same
situation or event. And at different times in your life you will react
differently to the same situation. Think about driving in traffic.
Sometimes you don't mind and other times it drives you nuts.  

Four Ways We Cope with Emotions

• Suppress/Deny: Trying to hide the emotion from yourself.
  
• Withholding: You are aware of the emotion but choose not to express it.
  
• Unconscious Expression: Dumping on another or blaming another.
  
• Conscious Experiencing/Expressing: Self-responsible and clear expression. Being willing to fully feel the emotion.
  

 

The Emotion/Thought Cycle:

Emotions trigger thoughts, which trigger more emotions etc. The
core of this cycle is the emotion. Infants experience emotions long
before they have any language to form thoughts. When an emotion is felt
it triggers the corresponding thoughts that triggers more emotions etc.
The problem is that most of the time the original emotion that started
this cascade of misery was probably not yours! When a person suppresses an emotion that emotion is amplified
out into the field. Because most people are constantly suppressing
their emotions, our environment is packed. We're swimming in a sea of
unexpressed emotion! And you are the empathic sponge that soaks it all
up. (This is part of the reason it feels so good to be in nature, away
from people.) Generally, people do not suppress positive emotions, so what
is stored are negative emotions. Your system (mental, physical,
emotional and spiritual) will seek out or create experiences that will
allow you to discharge (experience) suppressed emotions. Something will
happen that triggers one of these emotions, then your stored emotions
are brought up to be cleared. So you will continue to create situations
that "cause" you to feel the suppressed emotions. It is the
unwillingness to experience these emotions, and so the continued
suppression of them that keeps you stuck. As long as these emotions are
stuck in your systems, you will continue to experience situations that
trigger them. This is why you keep dating the same kind of person or
are repeated treated "badly" by others.
The only way to get free from this emotional prison is to
experience the emotions! And you must stay conscious of what is
happening around and within you. Pay attention! The first step is to recognize when emotion is present either within you or another.

1) What is the level of intensity between 1 and 10?

2) What is/are the emotion(s)?

You can refer to this list if you are not sure. Rather than
saying, "I am angry" say, "I feel anger". This simple change in how you
language helps you to keep your center. Your inner child relates to simple or basic feeling words.

Anger

Sadness

Grief

Fear

Shame

Guilt

Hopelessness

Helplessness

Powerlessness


3) What meaning has your mind applied? What dialog/thoughts go with the emotion(s)? Keep in mind that this is not necessarily true.

4) Where do you feel this in your body? Feel
into that place and breathe. Really go into it, knowing that the
emotional content is on it's way out. Shake, cry, growl, moan or pound
a pillow, whatever works to move the energy. With regular practice you will find that it gets easier to
stay consciously aware when a lot of emotions (yours or another's) are
flowing. You will be able to maintain your center no matter what is
happening. Also, as you empty your personal storage of emotions, you
will stop attracting situations to trigger negative emotions. And you
will have much more clarity about what others are feeling and what
motivates their actions. Your system will be able to flow more vital energy and you will flow through life, enjoying the Game.

TAPPING INTO OUR NEW BEGINNINGS

Greetings!    

Things are shifting and sorting, all in readiness for a move forward the second half of October.

 

There are various stages to this latest phase of re-connecting, and some of us may be here while others are there, but all in divine and perfect order, as always.

 

The process of re-wiring or re-connecting to a new shore, or higher vibrating home involved a tuning up within, as well as a tuning up without. The economy here in the US is undergoing a similar process, which will affect the planet as a whole. And as we tune up within, we will affect the planet as a whole as well.

 

This is a massive transition…but as many of us are far ahead of the masses, we will be nearly untouched, as all our needs will be met with ease.

 

If you are one who has recently let go of connections to the old, you may now be finding yourself in a space of self-exploration, perhaps considering a geographical move, and wondering what your new role might be. Being still, exploring new options and passions, re-connecting to what it is that you really and truly have always wanted, and allowing things to unfold oh so naturally are your keys.

 

During these times, we are always taken care of. If we are in a phase where we are re-connecting to our authentic selves, or allowing that process to unfold, the universe is always behind us, supporting our needs until we are complete with our self-exploration. There is a road map for this process in Stepping Into the New Reality (more about it at the end of this energy alert), as this process is a key component of ascension, and will continue on for many who are on various rungs of the ascension ladder.

 

If your re-connection process is complete or near complete, you may find yourself in states of busy-ness, with too many projects to tend to, perhaps feeling overwhelmed, and with a seeming inability to complete just one. All in varying states of being half-finished and scattered. What is occurring here, is that we have one foot in one reality and another foot in another. And the realities are about setting our foundations, beginning those new projects, and tending to our supports until the new has arrived in full.

 

Because we have created our new connections, this begins then, a new phase or new energy current that wants to be utilized, while at the same time, we may still need to finish up some of the old in order to be ready and prepared for the new.

 

It is just a matter of overlaps while going from one place to another.

 

Another common scenario of moving from one vibrational level to another, is having an experience of seemingly everything breaking and needing to be repaired or fixed. What is occurring here, is that there is now a vibrational mis-match, and things need to be adjusted, or "fixed." We have to set up new alignments for the new, and this is simply part of the process.

 

If nothing is happening for you right now, and everything seems still and dead in the water, then know that your new connections are still being lined up. You will connect when all is ready and in alignment. We are all in differing stages of this process, but in the end, our new connections will arrive when they will! And oh so perfectly indeed.

 

During this time of new connections, we are experiencing a new unity as well. As the veil thins on a regular basis, we ultimately begin to see our neighbors, brothers, and sisters for who they really are. The masks begin to fall and we are once again united with more of our memory intact. If you are one who has seen beyond the masks for a long while, it can be wonderful to have others now join you in recognition of each another!

 

This new unity is occurring because the time is right. All is in divine and perfect order. We are beginning the stages of supporting each other. And as we choose to let go of what is rapidly falling now, we will then find ourselves in groups of like-minded people, all willing and able to connect in beautiful ways.

 

As I have mentioned so many times in the past, we are embodying so much more light now within ourselves, that we are the ones we need to defer to. We need no longer ask for wisdom or support outside of ourselves. We are at an evolutionary level now, that allows us to dictate our next steps and the next phase. Enough of us are ready. We have morphed to a new level of becoming angels on Earth. A space ship is not going to arrive and save us, the darkness is not going to take over the planet, and any horrible scenario of the end times will not occur. These illusions come from an old 3D mentality and are not necessary, nor can they exist in the higher vibrations we now find ourselves in.

 

Continuing to focus upon darkness during this process of transition will only serve to fuel an unwanted scenario of complete illusion, as well as placing one in that reality…a reality that is being created and maintained by those who are buying into it and bringing attention to it.

 

The reality is this:  We are transitioning from the old to the new. We are now existing in a higher vibrating reality. Anything that is not vibrating at this new level, will cease to exist, as there is no energy left to sustain it. Thus, it crashes. In this way, the old cannot be held up or saved. It is not possible. No new blood or attention can bring it back. This is what we have been waiting for, so it is actually a time to rejoice if one chooses to focus their attention in this way. Connecting to the new or a different shore is what will sustain us now. The reason we are experiencing the re-connections is because of the fall. So you see, we are always being taken care of, and know as well, that we are the ones creating and implementing the plan. This is why we are always right where we need to be. We would not create a scenario or plan that would jeopardize those who are here to assist. That would not make sense.

 

At higher levels, everything is always going in the same direction. There is no polarity…there is no darkness. So-called darkness is only here to spur us on to create something new and different. The darkness is in reality, the light as well, as everything is always light. Here in the US, if we had not had George Bush as president for the past eight years, we would not be where we are now. And where we are now, is in a space where enough individuals are willing and ready for change…for a new and higher way of being and living. George Bush had to shake things up for us. He did a wonderful job, and he did his job well. He was just part of our ascension process, and at his soul level, he knew exactly what he was doing. We are all in this together.

 

So then, the so-called "darkness" is not trying to take over. It is showing us the way. There is not a war here between dark and light, as everything is in on this together. The best thing to focus on now is the new, and simply leave the so-called "darkness" behind for others who still need a wake-up call. It is not for us to try and bring it down. It has its' purpose. Our job is to hold the light, to create the new in our own sanctuaries of choice, to allow the old to fall.

 

We are in an incredible space now, during an incredible time. Letting go of the old, staying centered and still, and tapping into who we really and truly are, will automatically place us in the higher realms. Focus is key as well. Looking in a new and different direction, focusing on a different perspective, or simply thinking about something else when times seem tough, will automatically catapult us into a new reality created simply through thought.

 

We have an opportunity now to create what we have always wanted. We have an opportunity now to come together in communities of choice. We have an opportunity to offer our own special gifts and talents to others in order to create a whole. These are awesome times indeed…

 

So get ready, as the latter part of October will rev things up, cement things in, and connect us so much more securely to a very new beginning! Which side will you choose to be on and what will your new beginning be?
