"Even though we are facing tough economic times today", say Kim Kiyosaki, self-made millionaire and owner of RichWoman.Com. "There are still many unique opportunities that exist out there. It is a time where saavy businesses and/or individuals can seize the opportunity to break into new areas and snatch away market share from less competent competitors. There is no time like the present to focus on building your financial intelligence so you can see and take advantage of the opportunities these times provide", continued Ms Kiyosaki. About the Speaker Kim Kiyosaki is a sought-after speaker, television and radio talk show guest, the host of a PBS 'Rich Woman' show as well as a columnist for WomenEntrepreneur.com. She is a self-made millionaire and a happily married (but fiercely independent) woman. Her first book, Rich Woman - A Book on Investing for Women hit the Business Week bestseller list the month it was released. Rich Woman is a bestseller in Mexico, South Africa, India, Australia and across Europe. Kim has used the international forum of the Rich Dad brand to showcase the startling statistics related to women and money, and through Rich Woman and www.richwoman.com, has created a community where women can learn and grow. Kim Kiyosaki entered the business world in a position with a top Honolulu advertising agency and by age 25 she was operating a Honolulu magazine that served the city's business community. It didn't take long for Kim's entrepreneurial spirit to surface and two years later she ventured into her first business: a clothing company with national distribution. In 1989, Kim began her real estate investing career with the purchase of a small 2-bedroom/1 bath rental property in Portland, Oregon. Today, Kim's real estate investment company buys, sells and manages millions of dollars in property. For more information, please visit www.wbotalkradioshow.blogetery.com or www.womenbizowners.org. After years of being an entrepreneur, Anna Campbell decided to start an organization that would help women, like her, learn about business, be supported by women in similar situations, and help her grow her business at her own pace.
After leading her national 501c3 non-profit organization, Women Business Owners www.WomenBizOwners.org, for four (4) years, she started writing articles for the groups magazine and the articles turned into a book!
Campbell is publishing her very own, "My Monthly Business Journal". Her journal is available online as an e-book for only $9.95 or as a printed journal for $15.95.
Campbell is very excited to be sharing her knowledge, experience, and advise with women from around the world. Campbell says, "The exciting thing about this journal is that you can start it the month you buy it, and you can re-use it throughout the years you own your business. Because your business ideas, services or products, and clients will change throughout the years, so you will be using each month as a brand new journal as it comes around again the following year."
Campbell truly believes in the mission of our national non-profit and is donating 30% of all proceeds back to the organization's Annual Grant Program. The Annual Grant Program provides up to four (4) $500 monetary grants to women entrepreneurs.
When we asked Campbell how long it took her to write her book, she answered, "The actual writing only took about six (6) months. However, the knowledge that went into the book took about seventeen (17) years to learn."
We congratulate Campbell on her first published book and we encourage all women that are interested in raising their business to the next level to look into purchasing her book. You can find more information about her book at http://www.ryze.com/go/mrsannacampbell, mrsannacampbell@yahoo.com or 713-516-1524.

Women Business Owners (WBO) had planned their first annual "Free to be Me" National Business Convention October 10-12, 2008 in Houston, Texas. The convention, like so many other things, had to be cancelled due to Hurricane Ike. The location for the convention, the Sheraton North Houston Hotel has taken severe destruction from the hurricane and cannot accommodate the convention. With the convention scheduled for next month, there is not enough time to find a new location. The President and Vice President have decided the best thing for everyone involved is to cancel and plan for next year. Having been planning for this convention for well over a year, Anna Campbell, WBO President stated, "While this is truly disappointing, we will prevail. We have already started planning for next year and will hold our convention October 9-10, 2009 at a new location, to be announced. WBO will come back better and stronger having dealt with this." When asked why WBO is providing this convention for their members and the general public, Campbell responded, "Deciding to be an owner is a daunting task and one that proves difficult and too much for some. The convention will provide the opportunity for women to focus on learning the tools needed to own a successful business." Details of the convention for next year will be announced in the coming weeks. WBO is also planning an online Expo in March, a Virtual Business Convention, to be held March 19-21, 2009, 11am-6:30pm EST. WBO members will learn, shop, laugh, and network online. Women from all walks of life will be joining together to grow their business, meet other women, and share what they have learned through networking. Everyone is welcome to participate at the virtual business convention; attendance is online, via one's computer. Entrance is free for all attendees. Attendees are recommended to have a computer and speakers to hear the speakers and vendors. All attendees will download a small file to join in WBO's Hot Conference Room. The WBO Hot Conference Room is a virtual convention room where vendors and speakers will be sharing their business expertise, products, and services with attendees. They will be speaking with their microphones and sharing their websites and online presentations in the conference room. There is a small file to download to view the room. PC users only at this time. To register for free to attend the WBO March Expo, go to http://www.womenbizowners.org/march/. Women Business Owners (WBO) is an international 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in February 2004. WBO provides education and support for more than 4,000 women business owners throughout the world with online and offline resources. WBO's mission is to help more women succeed in business. WBO Premier Member Anita Bruton had this to say, "WBO is open to all women business owners. Your personal life and business will benefit from being an active member in our group. We believe that through the sharing of knowledge, experience, and direction, our members will find their path on their own business and personal journey."
