all of tim yeung's drum tracks for "Tactical" have been recorded with the help of mike keene from The Faceless who engineered the last 3 songs at his studio. (thanks mike)...now its on to some guitars/ bass and vocals. i cant wait to see what luke does with this record. i have no idea where reisha is!

i've had overwhelming (no seriously) inquieries about posting up another store, selling some rare hard to find cky items and autographed shit. i will have that up soon, with more of my pack-rat shit and stuff i'll have OCD problems parting with i'm sure.

we finally sent the new cky record to Roadrunner and theyre loving it big-time, all the while chad is busting his ass in conshohocken doing the final mixes which im told sound amazing and im so excited because chad's rough mixes were incredible enough so i cant imagine what the mixes he's doing now (that he's very happy with) could possibly sound like. im only going to say it once in a different way than ive said it previously...in my opinion...this is by far our best album and the label and the few fans that have heard it also agree by a landslide. we are shocked by the positive response "live hellions" is recieving which is a great indication of what the consensus will be when the album finally hits (or leaks haha). playing this shit live will be fun and challenging not that the songs are difficult, its just been a long time since our set has been updated with new material. we can't wait to tour. i love the "starving" analogies on this site for the new record.
so chad is doing a superb mixing job i'm sure, im busy getting the artwork started at the label and everything is finally on schedule. where are the song titles? when the time is right.
tim yeung is headed out to south america tomorrow with divine heresy and hopefully we'll get some time before then end of the year to write the rest of the WUB record. i'll hit the studio soon to finish guitars and bass on the drum tracks we have right now.

i also just finished a script called "Blood Redux" with a friend of mine that is in its third draft and with my wife helping the buzz has been pretty big but i dont want to get into that yet. lots of fun in '09!

i finally moved, and its a big pain in the ass! im going back east on the 23rd though to finish the long overdue CKY record. i cant wait to hear it when its done. its brilliant. then in october i can get in with luke and do some tracking on the WUB record before CKY hits the road again.

recording for the 4th cky album continues tomorrow, and will be done by the end of july.

sorry ive been out of touch for the most part, i've been juggling a million projects lately. i've been feeling kind of roadsick and wanted to come hang out with you guys so im doing the malevolent creation US tour in july with deicide which is going to be pretty intense. i havent been on stage in too long and i cant deal with it anymore. as i said i just got the world under blood album artwork back from acclaimed artist Par Olofsson who did an amazing job and has an incredible style. while tim yeung is still out with divine heresy i've been writing and editing drum tracks and in the next week or so i'm going in to do guitars, bass and keyboards. then i'm going to bring luke in to finally lay down his leads. we're still trying to figure out what to do with the CKY record, which i say could be our best yet, but Roadrunner is pretty frustrated with us so i'm waiting to see what the next step is. the process is moving pretty slowly. (it feels like waiting for My Bloody Valentine, if you know who they are). then there's my script that i'm working on with a buddy that just got out to lionsgate already so we'll see what happens with that. i'm really looking forward to directing my first film. you dont know how much i appreciate your patience. stay tuned.

YO ALL...
the 3 WUB drum tracks went amazingly well. one of the songs is HAULING...i mean fast, 240 beats per minute! for all you non-musicians, that means...its really fucking fast! TIM IS KILLING ON DRUMS. the kid keeps getting better and better. the shit is killer as hell and i'll be laying down the rest of the tracks soon.

ive also been talking to kurt bachman from the legendary and recently reformed BELIEVER. it seems as though i may be laying down some guest solos and or vocals for their new record. BELIEVER have been one of my favorite bands for 20 years so this is really exciting for me. check out the 3 records they did in the 90's...all 3 are works of genius.

i've been emailing with matt deis and he is indeed very ill...his back is a mess. he seems to be in good spirits and joked about how he can park wherever he wants now! either way, i'm glad to finally have been in touch with him.

while i finish up the world under blood record, i'll be touring with MALEVOLENT CREATION as 2nd guitarist. they have some tours coming up overseas in the fall, but there might be some american dates soon including possibly the new england festival coming up. hopefully we can get on that and i can see you all again!

a WORLD UNDER BLOOD tour is an obvious plan as well for this year too...i cant wait to get together with tim luke and risha and see how devestating this shit is when we play it.
