IT TAKES A VILLAGE
Formed in January 2006, The Write Group of St. Louis has diverse memership.  Our writers come from various backgrounds and experience levels, from having been published to never having written anything until joining the group.  Writing and submitting and getting published can be tough work, though!  That's why we teach, critique, and encourage each other every week; our philosophies on succeeding in writing are: "it takes a village" and "just keep writing!"

A COMMON THREAD
Most members of The Write Group of St. Louis are hoping to be published, if they haven't already been.  Others simply enjoy the experience of writing and sharing their work with other writers.  But we all appreciate the time and effort put into writing a story or essay, and we try to tailor the group to the writing goals of the individual members.  We thoroughly enjoy reading and writing in various genres, and we look to many arenas for inspiration and advice.  Although we have a variety of personalities and come from diverse backgrounds, members of The Write Group of St. Louis all share a common thread: a passion for writing.For authors' bios and more information, please go back to the main page or click: www.myspace.com/writegroupstl
